Love the sound of sequential shifting or straight cut gears. Love it combined with burning tires an high octane fuels burning. Ita pure addiction at this point
To me it's part of all the lovely pure mechanical art that when combined in a vehicle such as this, one is in no doubt that they're driving a car that is built for a singular purpose. Back when I was knee high to a grasshopper, my mate and I could pick the make of a car purely from the engine note, and on long journeys we'd compete to see how quickly we could tell the make of oncoming vehicles from the design of their headlights. Nowadays that is just not possible, everything looks the same and unless we hear a car at full noise it's pointless. We both live in suburbs that have a lot of modified vehicles, so we hear something with a flat plane V8 and depending on the other noises well be able to to know if it is using fuel injection, downdraught Weber or Holleys and then instantly know its distinctive noises. So the Escorts, Opels, Aussie V8'S, Ford GTHO, Holden SL/R 5000 - A9X, Chrysler RT E38/9 etc we know what is going for a drive from kilometres away. Digress much, I've owned a car running a straight cut gearbox, locked diff and two 45 DHLA M Dellortos. I loved it but after a few months I was going insane. BUT in a vehicle such as this every noise is there for a specific reason and when they are screaming in unison (to quote Jeremy Clarkson) there is a high chance of having a man moment in one's pants. A pure bred race car or a highly modified street machine (especially the latter) is always an aural treat. Removing the endless dribbling on, me, I absolutely love those sounds.
@@Bob-Jenkins I feel the same way. My friends and I would walk late night and learned headlights dodging police out past curfew or whatever we were up to. @@MattyB727 why these gearboxes sounds like that (humming/whining) I have a corolla tsport and the gearbox sound like that no too loud but I can hear it in low rpm, is normal mate?
@13bro45 no mate it's normal I spoke to a mechanic at Toyota and he told me that all gearboxes make this little noise because the grease dries up in the bearings but it didn't break!

The reason he is going slow after coming out of the pits is because he is not officially on a lap so does not need to go fast because you have to start a lap by crossing the start an finish line but you can't do that when you are in the pits, so he has to go around the track once, you can see him apply alot more power down once he gets around the last corner and onto the straight.
hgghgguk He is warming up and testing this freshly tuned car legend, climbing up to the temperatures. You can see he is gradually applying more and more gas. I think this is the first time for the folks with the car out!
