Alek Thomas game 4 homer to tie up the game…to me, THAT was the defining moment of the Phillies series.
That and Brandon Pfaadt as a rookie pitching a masterpiece start in must win Game 3. He followed up with another great start in Game 7.
I was at that game up in the 300 section, I've never heard Chase Field louder.

The Diamondbacks dominated the first half of the regular season. They had a near-devastating prolonged slump in the second half but boy have they returned to form in royal fashion in the postseason! Go Diamondbacks!

I was 3 years old and not conscious at the time when the snakes won their first WS. I remember hearing and visualizing the stories from my family about game 7 with gonzos walk off moment. 22 years later I’m getting the experience they all had. Love this team especially during the dark days and cardiac moments. Let’s bring it back home for the state dbacks 🐍⚾️
What makes it even better is that Marte’s walk off in game 3 is eerily similar to Gonzo’s walk off in game 7

What an AMAZING journey throughout the 162 game season..
That BRUTAL July made this DBACKS team grow in way's we haven't seen...
The amazing run throughout the Playoffs, were fullfilled with wonderful highlights..
Longo's glove in the Brewers Series, The Bullpen in the Dodgers Series, Alec Thomas the ( PINCH HIT 2 RUN HOMER OFF OF KIMBREL ) in the Phillies Series, followed by Phaadt Game 7 Phillies start, Carroll Game 7 Phillies, Bullpen Game 7 Phillies ( ALL LIGHTS OUT PERFORMANCE )
What a ride it's been so far.. Off to Texas, for the World Series.. Hopefully the HIGHLIGHTS continues against the Rangers..
Few people other than diehards really grasp how difficult the middle of the season was for this team. A terrible schedule followed by a key injury to Moreno forced this team to have to claw back in. Only made them stronger it seems

Not having a reliable closer on the back end, handcuffed this team.. Diamondbacks could've EASILY been a 95 win team..
Brother the doubts were there all season, especially early on with the bullpen. Im glad there was course correction. Its rough being a Dbacks fan and Im glad its finally our time to show what we are about. SNAKES ALIVE!!!

I was at game 3 in Phoenix where we swept the hated Dodgers. That place was so loud 4 homers in an inning. Just absolute madness. One of the best sporting events I"ve been to live. Go dbacks!

The Diamondbacks struggled on the second half of the regular season; they suffered, they barely made it into the postseason. But they never lost their way... against all odds sweep the Brewers and Dodgers, defeated the mighty Phillies and now are in their first World Series since 2001. Rangers and Diamondbacks are hungry for the championship

That 4th home run by Gabi against Lynn. Electric atmosphere, sat in 300 row 1 and watched the first one go foul, and then to see his next one go out again after essentially being iced while we waited to figure out exactly what happened. Crazy game, loved being there.

I knew we’d turn it around eventually!, these past seasons have been bad but I could see they were hungry with skill, then add Torey’s journey as our skipper. It’s a good combo with the young guns and the coaching staff! So proud of the team, I was there at Game 2 in LA with my entire Dodger family.

The best part of the 4 homer inning in game three is that Gabby Moreno hit a foul ball that everyone thought was a homer, ran the bases, fireworks went off, only to get called back, and THEN he hit a bomb first pitch, one of the most electric games I’ve ever witnessed in Chase Field

I knew the second the Dbacks beat the Brewers they were going to the world series. the past 6 years the brewers have been eliminated by the world series team/winner if you count last year when they got knocked out the wildcard in the last game by the Phillies ws team. big rays fan and longoria was my favorite player growing up. unfortunate all the injuries and just age. He still has some pop signs of life hitting but its more rare. However as sharp as ever defensivly i really think they should stop dhing him and play him at 3rd his career numbers battig are also way better when fielding. Also hes a vast improvement to rivera at 3rd base imo

Both teams and what's Best is they are young and not in top payrolls , not Even close to ny , ny, la , ect in payrolls . Greedy players for $ are killing the Big market teams they can't afford a pitching staff bc they spend half the team payroll on 4 position players that can get hurt or many arent worth no 20 mil a year . 10 mil a year per player should be a cap.

I grew up as a Braves fan watching their games on TBS (started following sports in 2003) and Chip Caray (grandson of Haray Carey) was a really good announcer. He’s now calling games for the Cardinals but I remember one game in particular where he called the 2009 AL Central Tiebreaker game between the Tigers and Twins. Seriously he would be a great announcer for the postseason. I’d even take Ernie Johnson back for some playoff games, he’s at least had his share of good calls like the 2014 AL Wild Card game.
