Ford Motors has been around for 120 years, and in many ways, it's still a family-owned company. In this video, I decided to trace its history from Herny Ford to today, where the fifth generation of Ford works for the company. Also, be sure to subscribe to my channel, as Im working on a few new documentaries, on Henry Ford the II, Enzo Ferrari, and Rolls-Royce that you don't want to miss!
Watched from Old Harbour Jamaica and my dad always own a Ford until this day. We have one of the oldest Ford dealers in the world on this island and Henry Ford 2nd use to visit Jamaica 🇯🇲 often and even named a car after the town of Montego Bay ❤
Awesome video as always, I have a 1996 Ford F150 with a 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 in it with 210,00 miles on it and a 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it with 160,000 miles on it and both are still going strong.
I had a 2000 F150 I sold with 196,000, an 03 expedition that I sold with 282,000 miles, an 09 Taurus that I sold with 343,000 miles. I once bought a Camry, but it stayed in the shop and seemed lightweight to me
There are a number of errors in the narration. The Falcon was introduced for 1960, not 1957. And a car that turned Ford around after WWII was the "shoebox" 1949 Ford. Also the overhead valve V8, introduced in Ford cars for 1954.
Normally, the son of the founder will hurt or slow the company. The 3rd generation normally completely wrecks what the grandfather started. The 3rd generation has never known the struggles and sacrifices needed to build. Instead, they live on the gravy Grandpa and Dad created. Henry Ford, the Duece, was very unusual in that he grew Ford. Very amazing.
Hank flourished without contestation because Henry was not around. Hank forgot that he was given the Ford leadership on the silver platter but refused to handover the baton. Selfish and self-centered man he was.
Bring back the Falcon. Australia made them for decades. The best car Ford made.ring back Australian manufacturing. We created the Ranger. Australia gets no recognition for our contribution to car manufacturing. We did a good job. And it’s all gone. Not fair.
My family was pretty much a Ford to family. I've owned at least 15 of them in my lifetime. I think Henry was a greedy tyrant. He was doing a lot of business with the Nazis before WW2. It was no secret he was antisemitic and he didn't care much for labor unions. It was also said he cut corners on the cars he sold. Many of his shady business practices leaked into modern Ford models. Ford did a lot for the Auto industry both good and bad. When I was young he was a figure I looked up to. After I learned about the way he did business I don't have a favorable opinion of him any more!
Where is it true that Henry gave the world the first V8 at that price point, he shunned innovation. I drove a 1937 Ford, the first car to have headlights in the fenders, but it still had cable brakes and an I beam front axal, way behind the competition.
Henry Ford actually had 2 children. Why didn't you include the fact that Henry had a romantic affair with another much younger woman who worked at Ford Motor, got her pregnant and had a child out of wedlock. That baby's cradle is sitting next to Edsels baby cradle in the attic of Henry's mansion called "Fairlane" in Dearborn Michigan. 😮

Great series. Enjoyed it very much. Ty.
Just found your channel and I love it !

Awesome video I love Ford it's all I've ever owned
My biggest mistake was a 1970 Maverick with a 250 cu. In. straight 6, couldn't keep valve guides in the motor.
When we finally upgraded our shop in the early 1980. We would put silicone bronze guides in if the people could afford them. These lasted.

7:48 you never mentioned Henry using kerosene as hair balm.

I’m guessing the guy who denounced the Ford name is an ambarishment to the family.
He looks like Ben Stiller.

Does anyone have a favourite Ford Car?

Fords are great !! But Toyotas are greater !!

The background music seems distracting, either kill it or do better, ARGH!.
I own 11 or 12 Ford vehicles and I will buy more Ford vehicles and I also have 2 Ford riding mowers has will.
The current Ford generation is spoiled and out of touch with sacrifices made before them by the former generation. Phase value comment
poor American quality brands Do not buy
Michigan like throwing beer cans at pedestrian on side of road - stay tf away me I don’t give af about your vehicle again don’t follow me
Kardashians? lol
This video only gave me more of a reason to hate the Ford Company.
Most of your favorite cars wouldn't exist if ford did not exist
You conveniently left out Henry's love for fascism and Hitler.
Im currently working on a much bigger video just on Henry Ford. Stay tuned.
Anti-semitism too. Really a very evil man.
