I can appreciate your optimism👍🏾But after having To take a break after a very serious life changing health challenge and surgery and a long agonizing recovery, my body was never the same. I was not able to work out like I used to. Still have limitations. So results are not the same. At least not like I would like. But hey, we are our own worst critics. So personally it did turn to mush, but over time it's gotten better. Not 100% but as long as I do my best and try each day, progress rather than perfection.🙏🏾
That’s what John Travolta said. He said he could not sustain that body he had in the movie “Saturday Night Fever “ because it took too much work to keep a body like that. As soon as he stopped the exercises he did for that part, his body went back to its former shape.

62 years here. Started training at 19 years of age. Health is wealth. Combination of light cardio and weight training has given me the life and soul of youth and strength. This gentleman is super fit and awesome mindset. Great respect and discipline 👍🇺🇲
As a fellow 72 year old athlete I can appreciate his disciplined approach. Thank you to his son for relaxed, useful commentary. As a road cyclist I clock up around 13000kms annually and balance it with ten mns daily of planks, push ups, squats and hamstring stretches but I’ll never have his abs😅…. Respect👏. I passed the HR office one day. They had an ab wheel and challenged me to do it. I'd never seen one. They had me start with just toes touching, ab wheel all the way out and I pulled up just like he does. Piece of cake. 25 years later, I tried an ab wheel again. 4 times from my knees and I was laid up with sore back for 2 weeks... Now, at 73, I can do it the "right" way again working towards his way...
I have seen many videos demonstrating the ab wheel rollout. OG is the first person to demonstrate and make me feel it in my abs. The key was to keep my toes down. Big salute for that💯💯

I saw an earlier video that said he didn't start calisthenics until his 40s and didn't start looking like that until then. He also said he's all natural and doesn't eat very much - one cooked meal a day.
I went from a 175lb football player to a 250lb guy trying to hit back into the shape. This shows me that my goals can be achieved with true dedication.

This man is my hero! I just had shoulder surgery so I can't wait to start working out again. I'm a smaller guy only 5'5" and I been in shape my whole life but now I have some work to do once I'm healed and I can workout. I always thought I would be in this shape when I got to be his age, I'm 47 now and I'm from Jamaica.
Everything is only a mindset away. If you want longevity you must teach your mind to love what you do. I used to hate many things like winter but nowadays I love both winters and summers and look forward to both . Never been happier. I’m lucky started working out since I was very young and I’m still going strong to this day. Reason being that I love and enjoy it

It certainly can be a major setback if you go through some sort of procedure or surgery . Dont lose heart. Keep trying. And be patient with yourself.
