Hi Dave, Nathan here out of Alpine, Wy. I'm new to ski-doo this year as I bought a G5 to get away from Polaris. I'm super excited! How are you attaching the can and bag because it seems the board/ski racks are accommodating the LinQ brackets. I've got a left over CFR DTM ski/board rack combo I`m gonna try to make work and don't wanna swap out the bag and rack all the time.
Thanks for the question the bags work with being inserted into the linq and the racks go over the linq and the male part of the bags close it down. th-cam.com/video/kBk43k4zsQg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XsOc9PC_lVV2Ke-T
Thanks for the info Dave, where can I pick up a race rubber? I live in terrace but i'll be driving through Squamish in the next month if they have them at no limits.
I sell them dave@davenorona.com 26 bucks and your address and what year sled if its a 24 I will need a photo of the kill switch as there are two different types. same email
Hey Dave! Thanks for the great video. Picked up a couple of these items for my 24 summit x turbo! I ordered a 154 2.5. First time on a turbo so hoping to get used to it on the 2.5, and still exploring different riding areas. Any thoughts on the 154s this year or things to keep in mind when setting up the 2.5?
Hi Dave, I’m currently on a ‘22 Polaris looking to jump to a skidoo. I’m interested to know more about what makes the summit X easier for you to ride than the one with expert package?
The expert will be like your polaris if its and rmk, planted, hard to tip up and more work, until your use to it, the expert is more planted or flat and harder to tip up, I have yet to see where the expert will go where the same rider cant take a summit x, and the summit x is 15-20% easier to ride. I personally do not like the ds 4 ski it is further forward which makes sterring harder, the ds 3 is easier to turn as well. Lots of guys like to blame the sled and it is true a rigid skid will side hill 10% better in the steepest when its hard, however most guys are not sidehilling the steepest side hill when its icy. Also Chris B uses the c3 carbon skid, it has more flex than the t-motion skid..
@@DaveNorona yes, I’m on an RMK pro. Thank you for your response, it was helpful. I’m in the process of deciding on 154 or 165 for the skidoo turbo. I was just told today by a 154 owner that it is VERY prone to wheelies, even in precision +. The area I ride mostly doesn’t get huge dumps of snow and a 154/155 is usually enough. However, if the 154 is always wanting to wheelie I think I’d prefer the 165. I’d appreciate your input on this when you have time. Thanks.
Sled Treds are hands down one of the greatest mods on a mountain snowmobile next to handlebars and storage.
so simple yet so awesome!! Use code Norona for discount fosho!!
This guy is awesome and very down to earth and can sing karaoke good , love to ride with him one day , cheers 🍻

Waiting for my 2024 Summit X Expert 165” turbo to arrive in Alaska. Shipped about two weeks ago so anyday now I expect the dealer to call.

With the turbo a lot of things matter less cause of the power!! You will love it!!!
That’s what I got to what parts did you add
Does the Ski Doo extended snowflap fit the heavy duty bumper? Or are you running the Lynx one?
It does you have to stretch it or you can use alternate straps th-cam.com/video/3jXW6S-zfJM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mlmTKw5z1AZS8Lx7
Great video. How do you program the spare key?
A spare key must be programmed with the other key and your machine so best to let your dealer know when you buy or when you bring in your machine.
Thank you, I wasn’t sure if it was something I can do as long as I had the key and the machine at home or if it must be done at the dealers.
