I mean its definitely to sacrifice 1 person even tho you love them for the world. It would be selfish to not do that.

It reminds me one story from greek mythology I think. It is about truth and lie. Then lie stole her clothes and left truth naked. Because of wearing truth's clothes everbody belived lie and people shame to truth for lying and being naked

Can I just say that the comments under this video are so interesting yet sad? I know a lot of people here probably use this song to cope or enjoy the idea of how you imagine the story going on, which is very much valid and take my wording and response with a grain of salt, but isn't it weird how we know nothing about what happened between these two characters besides their emotionally fueled responses between each other, but people only think one of them is in the right? Personally, I think both of them are in the right and wrong. We don't know what the hero did, we don't know what the villain did, all we know is that one wants to help and the other doesn't want it. One wants to understand and the other feels betrayed in someway. We can't blame either of them for what might have happened, because we don't know the situation and really it's probably more complex the idea of, "The villain being the hero and the hero being the villain”.

The edit tho- 😂
That’s what I’m saying too
this is fr
and lmao the edit XD
Here’s how I interpret the story:
The villain is a fallen hero or redeemed villain turned fallen hero. With the heavy idea of betrayal and the specification of “they hurt you”, it sounds like the villain was betrayed by a group of heroes the hero and villain works/ed with. Now the hero’s trying to make up with the hurt villain while the villain assumes the hero was in on the betrayal - the hero very well may be. It sounds like the hero also believes in the villain and on someway also failed the villain, while the villain has given up on themselves and sees everyone as another “hero” who will eventually give up on them or a villain like them.
"The only difference between hero and villain is perspective"

@@myacole1272 Technically I wouldn't trust superman at all tbh. Hes a walking nuclear bomb he can kill anyone around him, he just decides not too. I would take my chances to take down villians another way then relying on the jurisdiction of one man
@@churro3710 your trust doesn’t matter quite frankly. The whole point is that there is a lot of differences between a hero and villain. If you wanna deal with a villain that’s cool but they are still a villain.
Feels like a fantasy novel
Ikr? There's a freaking STORY here! Now if only I could fill in the gaps...
The hero and villain were best friends going up but when they became adults, the grew apart. Hero got more friends and grew popular while villain was left in the dust. Villain was so angry and broken Abe began to gain attention in the wrong way. They would do bad stuff just to see Hero a little bit each day. Hero didn’t understand why Villain became so spiteful towards them and tried to talk. Villain let out all of their hurt, their betrayal, their rage, and their depression onto Hero...and Hero...Hero finally understood...but it was too late
@@sandstorm1123 Holy shit... OK, I MIGHT just use this. This does seem like it would be a cool premise for a story. (Well done, btw! This is very thought out.)
Lucky Fluf Aw thank you! I give you permission to use it!

We all know the hero's at fault here, and it's the hero is the reason the villain is the way they are right now, but think of it this way.
The hero made a mistake. They messed up big time. And the villain has all the right to be mad and give in to their dark desires, even if it's slowly killing them.
But at least the hero's trying. At least the hero is _trying_ to save the villain. But the villain doesn't want to be saved, and so the hero comes off the wrong way and messes up things even further.
And when the villain finally gives up and falls off the deep end, the hero blames themself for being so helpless, for not being strong enough to save them.
Not being strong enough to save their friend.
We actually don't really know if the hero’s at fault. My personal theory is that the hero and villain were close as children. The villain was hurting for some unknown reason, and the hero couldn't help them, and the villain blames the hero even though the hero was just a child, too. The hero feels guilty, but people feel guilty for things that aren't their fault all of the time.
@@idontknow898There's a million ways to look at the storyline since the information we got was so broad. But yeah, it could really go either way. Either the hero's at fault and is victimizing themselves, or the villain blames the hero for everything they did to themselves.
i feel like the hero doesnt think they have done something wrong because they blame someone else for why the villian is angry but its clear the villian is mad at the hero
@@keeva6530 yes, but I think it's important to remember that the hero does feel guilty about something and seems to mentally be in better place than the villain. So to me if the hero feels guilty but doesn't think it's their fault, then it seems more likely that other people did do the villain wrong, and maybe the hero didn't/couldn’t interfere. So the villain is upset and the hero feels guilty, but the hero also realizes that while they wish that they could have done more, they are not the one who tried to hurt the villain. I think the lyrics scream of “you didn't save me”, not “you tried to hurt me”, so I think that the hero was a bystander in whatever situation the villain was in, or maybe even did try to help the villain but the villain didn't think it was enough.
@@idontknow898 yes i think overall in the song someone else did something to the villian but for this specific comment i saw it as them saying hat the hero actually did something if that makes sense

Some times the only difference between the hero and the villain is just who’s side of the story we’re seeing

"You are not the villain," the hero said, seeing the villain's eyes hold such vulnerability, the hero become encouraged and kept going. "You once held my hand."
And just like that the villain's eyes dulled. The vulnerability left, the villain's emotions shut down. "Stand up, get out. Sometimes things don't go as planned."

H = hero
V = villain
I think V mesmerized when they kept talking and being sarcastic toward H but then realized what happened in their life when H started to say you once held my hand.
V froze before pushing H away, eyes darken with despair and loneliness.
"Stand up, get out. Sometimes things don't go as planned."
"But-"
"I said get out!" V pushed the concerned hero. They turned their back from H.
"V..."
No answer.
"Please remember that."
"Please stop, " V muttered quietly. So quiet that even V can't hear it clear
"I'll always love you, " H turned their back as tears started to form at the corner of their eyes.
Upon seeing the hero leave the room, v fell to their knees.
"Why?"
"Why? Why? Why? Why..."
"WHY YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE THIS?!"
Without stopping, they punched their chest. The pain is so unbearable v can't stop moaning. Tears escaping v eyes like a river escaping a damn.
"I don't miss you! I don't want you here! I don't want you to talk to me!"
Memories kept entering their mind. Hugging, smiling, laughing, teasing, kissing. It doesn't want to leave their mind.
The villain's hand kept rummaged through their hair. The memories kept teasing them. Those memories that they wished never exist.
No...
It's not that those memories don't want to leave.
Maybe v doesn't want them to leave at all
A sad voice echoed in the room while clouds still pouring its tears for v, feeling sympathy for the supposed antagonist.
"You once held my hand, " the villain muttered the painful words before smiling weakly.
"I love you too."

H held back tears to see their long friend, hell, much more than a friend be so sour. All they could remember from them, through both of their whole lives, was nothing but sweet memories, laughs, and hugs.
"Get out. Some things don't go as planned." V said. V always had a sense to be able to see H thought, which H guessed it was off their own body language.. tone of voice.. but V never used that knowledge to hurt them before.
"Please, take my hand, ill be your knight in shining armor, just like I am in everyone else's story."
V gave a cold laugh. "You _really_ think your the hero? Where you there when I need you most? Where were you, on that cold night, hm? Get out."
"Please, V-"
"NOW."
H walked out the door reluctantly, crying as they did. Why did it have to happen this way? This isn't the story they planned together. This just _isnt_ a good ending. All stories had a good end. WHY did everything have to be so HARD? H fell to their knees outside V's door.

I think its literally called the hero complex that was mentioned in the song
This song reflect one of my two favorite hero/villain dynamics
It’s all a matter of perspective. What the hero is called the “hero” and the “villain” is what they call their opponent. And the “villain” is the hero to them, and the “hero” is the villain in their eyes.
It’s so add to express how the villains are misunderstood and the hero’s are put on pedestals, I can’t imagine how that feels. But honestly, we’ve all been through it, unless.. YOU are the one on a pedestal.. in that case get out of this house of vibe, this isn’t for you.
This is for the mistreated. And you, “oh great one”, caused their/our suffering.
XD are you 12?
You do realize most people on those pedestals don't put themselves there right..? Like what people think of you is not in your control, and people will put others on a pedestal for even the most mundane things.

I really relate to the hero because my friends think, “Oh your amazing, popular, an amazing artist that has no parents issues and lives a wonderful life.“ I feel bad because I have a great life, (I’m not popular btw) and others don’t. good wisdom
I like to think "you are not the villain, you once held my hand" is sung by the villain to show they don't fully (or don't at all) blame the hero for how this turned out but " stand u, get out. Sometimes things don't go as planned" is the hero letting the villain get away and letting go of what they couldn't do then and can't do now (in other words the hero is giving up on the villain)
I agree but at the end where the villia. says " stand up. walk out things dont always go as planned " could also symbolize that the villian would rather move onwards seince things have started and cant be changed. or simbalize how humans work. where actions have consequences and such
sometimes villains can't be saved but the hero doesn't understand
I like to think the "you once held my hand" line is sung by the villain, to show that she doesn't blame the hero, but I like the "get out" part also being the villain, as a sort of "it's not your fault, I don't wanna blame you, I just don't wanna see you" kind of feel. It's telling the hero that it isn't her fault, but that there's nothing else she can do, it's too late.
@@Endershock1678 I don't really like heroes cause they overlook so much just cause of their feelings towards the villains even if killed hundreds of people they still want to redeem them or when the hero goes around killing bad guys they dislike but saving the ones they do like chose what you stand for or you saving them or killing them

This is why I hate people who talk shit about the villains. What ever they went trough, doesn't justify their fucking actions. I swear to God, heroes are always the ones who hurt the most. Who have to sacrifice everything and then they are still somehow "in the wrong". A villain is literally someone who got hurt once and decided to give up instantly. A coward.
The original says "But who's who?" They're both the villain. Sure, the hero is trying to play knight in shining armor without really knowing how to help, but you can tell that they at least *want* to help and speak to the villain, who's pushing them away. Don't act so deep. We're all in the wrong here.

Y’know…The hero’s line “if I’m here to save you I’ll be here forever” can be interpreted in 2 different ways…One way is like “I’ll be here with you forever! I won’t ever leave you!” Kinda like they really love the villain. But, another way is “Saving you takes forever…You’re un-savable..” Like the hero is losing hope in saving the villain and is ready to give up on them. Just a thing a wanted to say! ❤

@@nekomataumbreon well logically you can, biologically you were made for adaptation, endurance, and change. And looking back at history shows that no matter the situation you are in, someone has or is going through what you are right now.... and if they can do it then you can to. You always have the ability to improve, you’re human even when you don’t feel like it.
It’s just a question of how can you work with what you’ve got, to get closer too the goals you set?
Because improving anything is always possible, sometimes it’s just really hard. However it’s never impossible, and if you want a good place to start looking for self improvement, I recommend TH-cam channels like improvement pill or psych2go.
You could stop reading here if you want. After this are tips I’ve learned help people overcome their obstacles, I even put them too the test for years because I needed them at a point in my life.
So, when you inevitably feel discouraged, demotivated, or don’t feel like making progress then you could try doing what I did and look at or listen to inspirational subject matter.
Always remember that self improvement doesn’t always mean “I did something today that I couldn’t do yesterday.” Or stuff of that sort. Self improvement can be as small as “ I found something that is healthy for me and makes me smile.” Or even “I did a chore during a depressive episode.” So long as you do something that YOU identify as self improvement, then it IS self improvement. So there’s no point in being to hard on yourself since you won’t make any progress that way.
Additionally having at least one person other then yourself that supports you and is there for you can make a huge difference and make things a lot easier in all regards. Assuming that individual isn’t harmful for you in any way. Meaning toxic people will only hurt you and slow or halt your progress.
Lastly and probably most importantly, remember to take breaks to enjoy yourself and relax. Being able to unwind in a healthy manner is almost needed in all problems that require you to think. Here is no different.
I would take the weekends to relax and I would do my best to make progress on the weekdays. Because that’s what works best for me, which I found out through some rough experimentation.
Just do your best to manage breaks and use them sparingly/ when needed because too many gets unhealthy instead of healthy.
I hope it helps.
-Sincerely a future therapist.
I hate the idea of heroes who save the damsel in distress. And whilst your idea isn't necessarily worse, I disagree with it being better.
Personally, I believe that it should never be up to one person to save someone - be that themselves, or another. To truly deal with the pain, suffering and tragedy coursing through a person, you must have both. A friend, and the individual. You will never deal with it all on your own, and it will only hurt you more to try. Helplessly relying on someone to come save you, whilst you're in constant fear of rejection, humiliation and your own thoughts and emotions will only wither away your trust in others. Truth is, you need to confide in someone close to you, or even a therapist if it's hard to open up to people you know.
And then you must take care of and reflect on yourself. Sometimes you simply need to cradle yourself in your own arms, and know that you are not alone. Don't worry. You are here. So you are safe. And of course, loving yourself is one thing, but trusting yourself is another. Mostly, it takes time. So be patient.
My point is, the hero can't save them, and the villain can't save themselves. They must save each other, really.
O

“I- I think we should stop playing Uno guys”
"This won't stop the hurt for long"
It sounds like, (to me), that the hero is trying to convince the villain to not kill themself.
This one line brought it home and it hurt.
The Hero will sing this without acknowledging the fact they killed hundreds of the Villain's henchmen.
Villain: back at you buddy.
In the end, everyone is in the wrong and they got to this point purely by choices
My theory is the “Hero” manipulated the villain, who used to be either a hero or normal person. The REAL villain, aka the “hero” used them for fame. They lie and say the real hero did something. Then the hero is perceived as the villain, and the villain is perceived as a hero and gets all the fame. They always would pretend to love the true hero, so the true hero got angry and started doing bad things in a heartbreak. The “hero” never saved the “villain”, and they interact here.
I think the hero couldn't save her little girls from something and they died, thats why the "Villian" hates him
I don't really agree, due to a lot of comments about an incident the hero didn't stop and the hero clearly is trying to pull the villain from darkness that came from that event
Yeah there letting the people who hurt other get away with it as the villain was trying to give justice to the victims

@@fukkthisnewupdate8882 why? you had no reason to put that
i believe that the hero and villain were once good friends and the hero promised they would never leave the villain behind, because they were friends, and friends dont do that. the villain believed them.
but then, one day, the hero started to become recognized as the hero of the story and was offered a better life in the big city, and they left the villain behind without a second glance or even a goodbye. hurt, betrayed and bitter over the broken promise and lies, the villain tried to make the hero feel the pain that they did in the moment they realised their best friend wasnt coming back for them, but only made themselves seen as the villain instead. overtime, the villain became so focused on revenge and making the hero suffer like they did that they lost who they once were.
the hero sees their friend is suffering and, like the 'hero' they are, they try to fix the villain's problems. but the villain does not want to talk to them because the person standing before them was not the person they once knew. they were corrupted by fame and publicity and were probably only trying to help the villain for a extra dollars in their pocket.
the villain is upset that the hero has changed so drastically but is even more upset that they still care for them. the hero doesnt realise that the villain's problems run deeper than the surface and watches as the villain loses hope of ever getting their friend back and hears the one thing that they never wanted to hear.
"you are not my hero. you dont know how it felt."
the hero, in this moment, realises that they are at fault here. their friend is only hurt in the first place because they lost the one person who swore they'd never leave. at a loss for what to do, they try to reason with the villain one last time.
"you are not the villain.. you once held my hand."
but the villain had heard enough, they had lost everything.
"stand up, get out. sometimes things dont go as planned."
the hero is left alone with the fact that just because you do the right thing doesnt make you a hero.
