I mean he kinda caused alot of deaths, so oof. He's sometimes the badguy. Not every single time, but when you straight up view others than less than, youre gonna be a bad guy. I would equate it from his pov as animal abuse tbh. Like if you view them as less than you and you still hurt them despite this then thats basically the closest you can get to it for a god. He is an extremely good character though.
Fact: As a kid, we always look at the hero's perspective and never the villain's perspective. As an adult, we look at both perspectives and we eventually understand both sides of the story, see the reasons why the villian became a villain in the first place, and then feel bad for the villain after we do.
As a kid I will always cheer for the villain since I already know they weren't going to win. Sometimes as a kid I would always hope that Tom will get Jerry eventually even thought I know he wouldn't.

I actually never really liked heroes as a kid and thought most were “fake”, I was always more attracted to the villains and their background because in my mind there always had to be a reason to why they became a villain.
When you look at the world through the eyes of a child, you see a world that's full of love and nothing is wrong. But when you see the world through the eyes of someone who sees the world for what it really is you can see we have very few heros.

They were our heroes, who fought for the better of the world, and we hated those villains because they were, well, the villains of the movie, and they do evil and stuff. But like this quote says, those villains are kinda just victims who took their pain out wrongly, and people wont understand them and label them as villains until they truly understood the pain and backstory of the villain. The more we grow up, the more we realize this stuff. The more we truly can understand those villains, and, I guess sometimes, we can sympathize with them. Example: From Hercules, the villain in THAT story was Hades, wanting to take over Olympus. If we don't understand him, we can think he's just an evil person, wanting to destroy the world and all. But, if it was told from Hades' POV, if you try to understand him better, you'd understand his anger and resentment towards Zeus and wanting to take over Olympus, just tired of the dreadful Underwold and just wanting to be understood. But, like I said, the villains just take out their pain wrongly. If it wasn't wrongly, they wouldn't even be villains in the first place. They just couldn't get the help they needed in time. This song calls to me. I have always loved fairy tales and as I grew up I looked for differnt versions and retellings. Alot of fairytales that are popular among people to tell children have really dark origins and prince charming isn't the good guy. He can actually be much worse then the villan. I loved learning the history of fairytales when I was old enough to safely study it and see how we as humanity twisted them over time to suit our own societal needs. Fairy tales were originally made for adults. And it wasn't because things were spicier in them. They are dark cruel things and if you dont want your childhood ruined a bit dont go looking up the origins of your favorite popular fairytale.

In the title song “Twisted”, it’s the first time we hear someone say the word twisted, signaling a turning point in the musical. In Twisted they go over many Disney villains stories and why they are wrong. The climax of the song is when Jafar decides that if people see him as the villain, he might as well be one.

I love this song because villians are mostly my favorite characters. Some villians do it for a good cause, some dont. It really depends on what side of the story you are on. Most of the time if your on the heros side the so called "villian" will be a villian but the other half of the time if your on the villians side, most of the time they see themselves as the "hero" of the story.

As children, we all kinda just believed those heroes. They were our heroes, who fought for the better of the world, and we hated those villains because they were, well, the villains of the movie, and they do evil and stuff. But like this quote says, those villains are kinda just victims who took their pain out wrongly, and people wont understand them and label them as villains until they truly understood the pain and backstory of the villain. The more we grow up, the more we realize this stuff. The more we truly can understand those villains, and, I guess sometimes, we can sympathize with them.
Example: From Hercules, the villain in THAT story was Hades, wanting to take over Olympus. If we don't understand him, we can think he's just an evil person, wanting to destroy the world and all. But, if it was told from Hades' POV, if you try to understand him better, you'd understand his anger and resentment towards Zeus and wanting to take over Olympus, just tired of the dreadful Underwold and just wanting to be understood.
But, like I said, the villains just take out their pain wrongly. If it wasn't wrongly, they wouldn't even be villains in the first place. They just couldn't get the help they needed in time.
Note: I'm not saying this is for ALL villains. Like Frollo or Gaston, I guess. Other villains have pure evil intentions like them, but not all do. I mean, yeah, sure, they mean to take over the world, but it's kinda their way of having their revenge, outcasted and just wanting the attention or/and understanding they deserve.

This song calls to me. I have always loved fairy tales and as I grew up I looked for differnt versions and retellings. Alot of fairytales that are popular among people to tell children have really dark origins and prince charming isn't the good guy. He can actually be much worse then the villan. I loved learning the history of fairytales when I was old enough to safely study it and see how we as humanity twisted them over time to suit our own societal needs. Fairy tales were originally made for adults. And it wasn't because things were spicier in them. They are dark cruel things and if you dont want your childhood ruined a bit dont go looking up the origins of your favorite popular fairytale.

I love this song because villians are mostly my favorite characters. Some villians do it for a good cause, some dont. It really depends on what side of the story you are on. Most of the time if your on the heros side the so called "villian" will be a villian but the other half of the time if your on the villians side, most of the time they see themselves as the "hero" of the story.
