There are also a few little Easter Eggs hidden in the vid (It's easter week after all). who can spot them all? Here are some clues?
1. Am I talking to a bird? a plane? no, it's...
2. Enjoying myself to artwork by...
3. Is that a new set of brushes?
4. Hang on. Is that a Heretic?
5. I'm sure there was a fifth (this isn't a clue, I literally forgot what it was)

Dirty Down Rust is absolutely bangin
The shaking was funny 🤣🤣🤣 I think we all need a good laugh from time to time! I picked some of this up last night and I can't wait to try it out!
That container looks fantastic!
Best rust effect out there!
So glad dirty down is hitting the spot light I've had a bottle about six months now and you have introduced new techniques for me to try out, that death guard looked amazing
Oh and check out grimdark compendium for more controlled use
Ordered two bottles of the stuff for my orks last week, I can't wait for it to arrive.
Great video mate. That container looked amazing.
Cheers Cuz!
Just found your channel, thanks for such a detailed video! I wish I'd found this earlier - but better late than never! Happy new year!
That container looks incredible! Might have to try that on my miasmic malignifier
Love the deep dive!
Not just flammable. The bottle says it’s super toxic. Yum 🤤
Yeah I wouldn’t dare put it in my airbrush. Won’t be breathing in that stuff!
Love it!
dont forget, new frames need analyzing... (but great tips on the mixing ratios!)
that container looks fucking amaizing
Thank you. As someone interested in doing this technique for my Dg, may i ask if it still reactivates once painted? CAuse maybe it would be nice to seal it with a matt varnish -specially if we live in pretty humid places.
So, i didn't leave it very long to dry. Before I threw the worn effects at it. so I think either A leave it overnight before using that stuff, or B, leave it overnight and stick clear coat down before using worn effects.
need to paly more.
I'd love to see that plague marine finished (eye lenses etc.)
I’d love the time to finish it
Hype product.
wonder if an matte varnish would have saved you from the bleed vs reactivating when using the chipping effects
Yeah, that’s what I’m wondering myself. Think I’ll do that next time over the magic mix. With heresy coming out. This could be a great base for Dsath Guard to show the beginnings of their putrification
I'm genuinely curious if premixing a whole dropper bottle of the magic mix would adversely affect its properties in the long run.
I’m not gonna risk it myself
If its so wasy to get off with water, how would I seal it to make it playable and handable with sweaty fingers? Everybody is just gushing about this stuff without mentioning that a single tiny drop of water or even moisture in the air reflows it again
Several light coats of matte varnish. Ideally with an airbrush.
Same issue as Army Painter Speedpaint, same solution
I'm working on a scratch build Mad Max / Speed Freeks style car and I'm looking for rust effect inspirations. I see this product is very popular now.
Would love to see the result
@@FauxHammer It would be a honor. You can now view the basics. Detailed painting is in progress.
Did you try to varnish after any of the techniques?
No, I should have
Can method three be done with an airbrush?
Probably, worth having a play
@@FauxHammer will let you know how it goes! :D
A bit pricey but cannot fault the results
IRON WITHIN IRON WITHOUT
Yep, you need to seal it as it will wash away…
yep. i should have done a coat over the DD before the weathering with worn effects.
Always something new comes on the market, gets played with, shown on video with the hope everyone will rush to buy it and when it gets superseded, it lies forgotten on a paint wash tray, never to see the light of day again. Its called Evolution.
