    Oh and check out grimdark compendium for more controlled use

      Yeah I wouldn’t dare put it in my airbrush. Won’t be breathing in that stuff!

    dont forget, new frames need analyzing... (but great tips on the mixing ratios!)

    If its so wasy to get off with water, how would I seal it to make it playable and handable with sweaty fingers? Everybody is just gushing about this stuff without mentioning that a single tiny drop of water or even moisture in the air reflows it again

    • @FauxHammer

      Several light coats of matte varnish. Ideally with an airbrush.
      Same issue as Army Painter Speedpaint, same solution

    I'm genuinely curious if premixing a whole dropper bottle of the magic mix would adversely affect its properties in the long run.

    Thank you. As someone interested in doing this technique for my Dg, may i ask if it still reactivates once painted? CAuse maybe it would be nice to seal it with a matt varnish -specially if we live in pretty humid places.

      So, i didn't leave it very long to dry. Before I threw the worn effects at it. so I think either A leave it overnight before using that stuff, or B, leave it overnight and stick clear coat down before using worn effects.
      need to paly more.

    wonder if an matte varnish would have saved you from the bleed vs reactivating when using the chipping effects

    • @FauxHammer
      @FauxHammer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that’s what I’m wondering myself. Think I’ll do that next time over the magic mix. With heresy coming out. This could be a great base for Dsath Guard to show the beginnings of their putrification

    I'm working on a scratch build Mad Max / Speed Freeks style car and I'm looking for rust effect inspirations. I see this product is very popular now.

    Always something new comes on the market, gets played with, shown on video with the hope everyone will rush to buy it and when it gets superseded, it lies forgotten on a paint wash tray, never to see the light of day again. Its called Evolution.
