I prefer sessions about 30 minutes, because I try to do yoga every day. But yin can be longer 😜, I love stretches ❤️. Thank you for all your videos. Namaste 🙏
I needed to stretch after yesterday's live class. I woke up with sore muscles because I have been on vacation and not practicing much yoga. I combined these stretches with Amber's beginning flow practice and now I feel much better. I would like a longer yin class with more hip stretches but this practice was very beneficial to these old muscles and joints. Thanks, Tim!
I did rather enjoy the slower pace. I often feel a bit rushed when I'm doing yoga or stretching routines - where it takes me a minute to settle in and by the time I do, we're moving on. So thanks for taking it down a notch.
The long hold stretches in this program was great, especially after my latest eye surgery when I am not able to bend head down too much. Body feels great afterwards. Thank you
Definite benefit to holding the poses after a hectic work week at the computer. Much appreciated and enjoyed. 30 mins would be fab! Thanks for the classes!
Thank you so much for this yoga class! My muscels feel relieved. Could you please make more of yin yoga or just restorative yoga, which are around 30-45 min? Love your classes! Thank you! Namaste!🌺
Thanks Tim. I was going to skip today. My Left heel was hurting a little, but this slow stretch was just what I needed. And 30 minutes would be great. 👍
This was just what I needed, after sore adductors and hip flexors from doing sprint intervals the day before. 30 minute classes of yin would be great! Namaste 🙏
Check the Conscious Movement Community library. There are many 30 minute and 60 minute sessions there. If you're not already signed up, go to yogawithtim.com and click the Conscious Movement Community tab.
The longer stretches definitely helps the joint release. And it also feels so good to take the time in the poses. I really enjoyed it a lot! More more : ) Thank you so much Tim.
And, BTW... there’s more full length yin classes on the Conscious Movement Community. If you're not yet signed up, go to yogawithtim.com and click the Conscious Movement Community tab. :)
Yay!!!! Need more of these Yin videos. Maybe 30 min relaxing holds for the whole body. It's good to see the beginner, intermediate, and advanced versions at the same time.
Good morning Tim!! Smiley day to you and all the beautiful yogis. I had a good physical labor day yesterday, and this was such a delight to really sit and meditate in the stretch. I think a class like this but even longer would be marvelous. Well done as always my friend. Namaste
Hello, Jason. The complete catalogue of longer videos is available on the Conscious Movement Community. If you're not already signed up, go to yogawithtim.com and click the Conscious Movement Community tab. Thank you!
Great class! After doing this, I realized my muscles are all tight. I would like a longer class on this, maybe 30 minutes. You are the best yoga teacher. Thanks again😁
I did this after the 40 minute dynamic power flow, having meditated at the end of that flow I was totally in the groove for this yin practice. Thanks Tim.
This was what I needed after work today! It was really great, but…way too short. I too would like a Yin session of at least 45 min..like many others here 😉🙏🏼
Loved this so much! I had a stressful day and I'm sore from a recent bike ride. I really appreciated the opportunityto hold the stretches and relax. Thank you for a great session!
Hi! Thanks for all these amazing videos. Is there a class where you stay longer in each pose? Just for variety and explore other aspects of yoga like being present? Thanks.
Hello, Javier. Yes the complete catalog of longer videos is available on the Conscious Movement Community. If you're not already signed up, go to yogawithtim.com and click the Conscious Movement Community tab.
Tim, been doing your beginner series which has been wonderful - has brought me out of my Covid lockdown torpor and relieved much entrenched musculoskeletal pain - thank you so much. Once that series is reasonably comfortably achievable, where next - do any of your 30 day series or similar particularly suit as the next stage?
After that you should join the community and try the Conscious Movement Immersion course. If you're not already signed up, go to yogawithtim.com and click the Conscious Movement Community tab. Thank you, Douglas.
Thanks for this Tim, it was great :) Perfect length for me as I struggle with concentration on longer videos. Must remember to turn off autoplay next time!!
I am in the waiting room to get an MRI and I m considering doing your class to help me relax and feel better ❤️🩹 😁 can’t wait to finally be able to take your class!
@@yogawithtim Awe thank you! And well it's actually pretty bad but I am still alive and able to do yoga so I consider myself lucky and extremely lucky that I am finally home and about to take your new yin yoga class! :) Thank you so much Tim!!
Done!! Feeling better mentally and physically even if it won’t fix my broken body 😂 it sure helps a lot with mental and physical pain! 🙂 and it’s nice to add a little yin class from time to time!! Truly enjoy all your classes and apologies for all the comments 😅☺️🙏🙏🙏
I would recommend going to your local Physical Therapist or Physio and getting assessed and treated. Once they clear you for yoga, try my back care videos and then the beginner course, and then the 30 day challenge in that order. Thanks, Sheetal.
Yes, I did :) Thank you. A few times already. The shoulder work is great as I sit at my desk all day long and additionally this has been nice to do in evenings after I've been for a longer run.
You said to hold the reclined butterfly at the end. I’m wondering if we can improve from trying to sleep in butterfly, frog splits or any stretch at night for as long as it’s tolerable. Is it possible to sleep stretch toward flexibility?
Hey Aruna, I used to wonder that too! But I don’t think that’s a great idea, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. While having tapas to progress mindfully is commendable, rushing and forcing flexibility overnight is just another ego manifestation. You’re on the right track, stay patient and stick with it. Going forward, I’m happy to answer personal coaching questions on the Conscious Movement Community (CMC) site. Just send me your message on the CMC chat feature. I have a recurrence of a rotator cuff injury so not been able to practice full body yoga. My shoulder mobility is slowly improving and tried this practice today. I obviously adapted it so as not to feel pain. I have started myofascial release therapy. Have you any other yoga practice suggestions?
I have a shoulder mobility video on the CMC (visit my website to join) in the mobility section that is designed to help rehab a rotator cuff. Also check with your local PT or physio to make sure all the exercises are ok for your situation
@@yogawithtim Thank you for replying! I saw that you have a lot of videos of Yin yoga that said Day 16, Day 5 etc..., Was that a series at all? I am wondering if you had compiled them in a certain portal or link I could use so I can start playing them from day 1. They're awesome thank you!
So I’m not a big fan of ending the videos like this. I’d rather you give us 3-5minutes to lie there with you and the class and say that we can hang out there or just leave when we want. YES! Holding poses longer for a deep stretch is exactly what I need right now. I think I have irritated my SI joint with too much vinyasa yoga.
