I’ve got another idea for a challenge run. Use two characters for the first half of the game, then switch to the other two once you class change. But no duplicates, so you’d have four different classes
@@Mournenhile There is still the issue of NPC's moving randomly on the map. What if I try to walk into a tile that has a bat in it then I'm no longer on my path? Sorry but that just isn't something that I would ever try to do in any way.
The idea is for everyone to be using an Axe, a red mage can't use one. Second temper doesn't work on the NES. Lastly I already did a challenge where I used mages to nuke things while I didn't use swords and mostly just used axes.
I did a four fighters run once but limited each one to a single weapon type: Larry the Axe, Hammerman Stan, Jack... with a knife (after the SoR2 boss, I don't think Jackknife is a very good pun) and Connor McLeod, Master Swordsman.

Reminds me of Dragon Warrior III where you start back at level 1 after class change except no Hero to level up the characters.
2:09:27 now you're truly playing GOD !
shanezell u should try to beat ff1 blindfolded. Would it be possible to recognize where you are from the music?
I would never try this. I would not be able to finish the game. Too much RNG that isn't under my control.
@@shanezell oh right... I totally forgot about random encounters... would it be possible to beat it if you could only see when in battles?

@@shanezell ah I see. worth a shot haha 😅
We have found the comfort zone. Or rather a spot very far out of it.
May i ask, if your target is fast spell why not pick up red mage? They have access to fast and a few utility spell like temper and life

geez axe looks cool but they sucks
Axes aren't as good as swords in the end game, but early on they are useable at least.

It's fun all of the wacky things you can do with the game.
@@shanezell The way you have to put a ring on your party adds to it I think.
