I got the kit as a gift.... I'm hesitant to get started because I'm not used to reading patterns... gulp. Guess I'll need to look for videos or really get cracking on figuring out how to read patterns - eeek!!!
It only comes with enough to make Harry Potter and Doby. I have seen some people say that they ran out of gray yarn before they could finish Harry Potter.
😢Bro I'm mad mine didn't come with a wand crochet hook, I just got q normal one, no attachable handle or anything. Just a normal crochet hook. So mine is even sadder but otherwise the same. Edit: maybe i should be happy i got one that was functional. But still kind of disappointing.
I got this exact kit I was excited then I seen the the pattern and 🤦🏻 not to mention the hook I got was some generic flimsy thing that felt like holding a thick piece of wire
No, he was not in there. I was disappointed with that, but figured with a few adjustments I could make him. Taking Harry Potters pattern and changing the hair color and the stripes on the uniform wouldn't be too difficult.
The book inside is a good guide, but videos on TH-cam of the stitches are much easier to follow. If I could, I would make a tutorial on the characters. With the patterns being sold, I'm not able to.
My favorite hook size is 2.75. It's what I use with the majority of the kits like these. I would stay under 4mm to avoid larger spaces where the stuffing would show through. I hope that helps!
I can make one from the book, but I wouldn't be able to show how. It would give the paid pattern away from the creator. If I can figure out my own pattern, I will definitely show how to do it. 🙂
Use your own yarn, for size. Being challenged with “Norbert The Dragon” making the wings, just doesn’t look like the illustration ! (Not my first rodeo, I’ve made over 200 different amigurumi, I’ll need to figure a different pattern.)
You should make a step by step video on how to make that Harry Potter
Yes

I was so confused reading the instructions..I’m still confused 😂
I just got this kit and as a fellow amateur, self taught crotcher.. I felt the same about the instructions 😂😅
I’m lost as well. Have y’all had any luck
No luck yet but I have a friend who reads crochet patterns and has over 40 years crochet experience. Going to ask her for help.
Did anyone figure out how to read the instructions?? I'm sooooooo confused 😕
I got this as a gift. That crochet wand is not in newer kits it seems.
Same here
Mine didn’t come with the wand hook 😭 just with a 3.5 mm hook 😭😭
Same
Same 😭😭😭😭

Is there a video on the pattern?
Did Harry's head look more like a capsule than a ball? The seven rows in the middle seem to make it look too long to me.
Does it include enough materials to make all the patterns?
It only comes with enough to make Harry Potter and Doby. I have seen some people say that they ran out of gray yarn before they could finish Harry Potter.
Hiya lovies, just wondering if any of the boys has taken home Lewis M's green Nike jacket because he lost it at training. Many Thanks, Karen. xxx

Did they have Draco in the book?
No, he was not in there. I was disappointed with that, but figured with a few adjustments I could make him. Taking Harry Potters pattern and changing the hair color and the stripes on the uniform wouldn't be too difficult.
I got this kit and made the characters. To make my Draco I used the Ron pattern and change the colors for his hair and uniform.
@@breckenkareg5724 Great idea! That is an awesome solution.

@@DragonSovail agreed haha
Lost the book, is there a place i can reorder one.
What size hook would you suggest if I don't use the wand hook?

@@DragonSovail thank you for this advice!
I took my book out of box and lost it. I have the yarn and yarn hope I can crochet along with you
I’ve never held a crochet hook or crocheted, so was hoping this video would help. Not so much
No explico como acerlos😢😢😢😢
Can you do the sorting hat?

Walk us through please!!!!
Harry's holding one and also wearing one, Hermione is wearing the sorting hat
I got the kit for 15$
That is a great price! I'm pretty sure the retail price is about $24.00. I hope you enjoy the kit!
Thank you I will

I need a tutorial
Eso es un engaño....ese tris de lana no alcanza para tejer nada ....y la aguja es plástica, tampoco sirve mucho
Was looking for a good video as a semi new crochet-er. This was not that kind of video. Very fast paced.
