  • So the Indiana Pacers have been extending everyone on their roster this offseason except for starting center Myles Turner. The Indiana Pacers signed Myles Turner to a two year extension two years ago which included a renegotiation of salary which means Myles will becomes a UFA before we can legally extend him again in the future.

    I think the difference in pay between paying og vs Myles is that we don’t have a lot of centers around the league that perform like Myles

    I hope he gets to stay a pacer but lf not life goes on I've been watching the pacers since 92 and the faces change but the "maybe next year we can win" thought never does sometimes change isn't as bad as you think and sometimes it is

They are legit and a very deep team....The Pacers are damn good...I see them getting to the Eastern Conference Finals and possibly more because these guys are deep...and remember this coming yr Mathurin & Walker should be an added piece to the squad...Great Video i just subscribed!

    When Myles enters free agency if he wants to stay with the Pacers it will happen. If he is looking for a big payday then he won't be here.
    Myles has a pretty good relationship with the front office so those conversations will take place long before he goes FA.

      I agree, I honestly think he's just testing the market to see his value and then he's gonna ask the Pacers to come close to his market value but if he gets a great offer I don't think he's gonna ask the Pacers to match it but he'll still sign with the Pacers I think as long as if they don't send him a disrespectful offer, but that's just my opinion. 🤷🏽

    Very unpopular opinion but that Siakam trade really screwed up the entire rebuild imo. So now we lose Turner and need to be contenders within 2-3 years for the hopeful remainder of Siakams prime and they are completely broke financially. Should have just moved on from McConnell and Toppin, let Nembhard play the backup PG, start Mathurin and give Walker the backup PF minutes. This is just a mess

      I don't 100% agree with everything you've said but you make some valid points in my opinion or at least some interesting points. So I have a few questions. Since you think that the Siakim trade set us back a bit do you think we should have kept Bruce Brown and Buddy Hield?

    • @fundamentalbear8347
      @fundamentalbear8347 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ComradeUhuruAskari No, I was all for trading those guys. I just think we rushed the rebuild by panicking and adding any "star" that became available. Since Siakam only has a few years of prime left, now we are in a race with time to become championship contenders when we were supposed to be a young team building our way up to contender status. I think the ECF appearance was a fluke last season with the Bucks missing Giannis and the Knicks missing 4 of their 5 starters and now we are delusional thinking we are going to be back there next season. I just believe we should have been patient and played our young guys so they could get minutes and improve. We have the #6 and the #8 overall picks on our bench. What good is drafting in the top 10 if we aren't going to start them and let them grow. Now things are a complete mess and we are broke

    He won't have any trade value and he will definitely want to test FA. Because he never has, why wouldn't he?? He's also never had a big contract. Smdh. I have no clue what the Pacers thought process is at all.. None of the moves they make 90% of the time make any sense to me.

    There is no point in signing two max players and then letting our only interior defender walk. We trade a depth piece to free up money and he'll be happy to come back for a reasonable raise.

    • @fastbreakreport

      That's not always the case....we don't know what Myles wants. He could decide he wants to win a ring sooner rather than later and sign with the Celtics for nothing....he wouldn't be the first guy to do it.
