Congrats on the 200 days you can actually see Davis’ transformation. Amazing.
What kind of boat is Warrior?
Thank you! Yes, it’s nice to see Davis enjoying this life. Warrior is a L45 like us but 2021
Your videos are awesome and a great mix as they are. If at all
Possible I would love to hear more about the sailing performance you guys get from the Leopard 45.
Will try and work that in. Thanks for the suggestion. We are definitely NOT the fastest boat but after 9,000nm I’m not complaining! And oh, check out next weeks video to Raiatea and Ta’a, we beat out our super tricked out L45 buddy boat.
Wow you guys have come a long way! And Davis loves cruising - at last!! And thanks for the grocery stores tour!
Glad you like them too! Yes, we’ve all come a long way😊
When I see catching fish I want to like to eat fish. It can save you food and food good for you. I think all the sailing people are brave. I could never do it.
Thank you so much! We are so happy that we stepped outside our comfort zones and did this. It’s an incredible experience!
Great to see you all now mingling with other blue water sailors
It’s been great!
Congrats on 200 days! You have come so far.
Thank you! It's amazing how fast this is going!!
Hey "Team Anchor Anywhere". .....another nice video to enjoy. 200 days is a great start....I will be with you on day 1000 😎. Davis has become a strong first mate and even likes the boat life without chicken tenders 😅. I'm with Captain Rob's "let's go tonight " decision and you guys managed the last minute & night time departure well. I really enjoyed your interaction with the children and alway get a kick out of Rob's smiles. Stay safe and enjoy the day.
Thanks so much!! These 200 days have flown by!
Wow 😲😳 beautiful family and a beautiful day enjoy your vacation
Thanks! It's truly an experience of a lifetime
Look forward to your video every week. Thank you for sharing your adventure.
Question: do you like your front cockpit? How much do you use it? We're cat shopping and really like the front cockpit idea, but wonder if it's really used IRL.
We use the front cockpit a good bit. On passage not so much unless waves a small and it's not splashing up. At anchor the door provides a great breeze though the boat!! That being said, there are other boats that have large windows up front that can allow just as much wind in. But we love it. It's another space to utilize when having guests over or need a bit of crew separation for sanity purposes 😬
Another great update. I would have thought that Rob picked up some "swamp" French to use. Looks like google translate all the way. I know anything is better than nothing , but how useful has the google translate been? Have you had to get local SIM cards? eSIM? for data? You guys are cruising strong 200 days in. I have 2.5 weeks left of work and the boat shopping begins! See you on the water soon!
So exciting!!! That went by quick! You could possibly be where we are in a year from now! What boats are in the short list?
@@SailingParadiseFalls We like the leopards 40-48 & fp Helia 44. Privilege (not in the budget) and sea winds are interesting.
Take a look at the Lagoon 42 too. We’ve been on quite a few out here and their layout really surprised me. I know, the bulkhead issue, but a good survey should reveal any boats defects. Also, I regret not getting an owners version. I’m dealing with the tiny bathroom but after a year and traveling w a buddy boat with that, I must say I have to keep my jealousy at bay.
@@SailingParadiseFalls We will be looking at a leopard 40 and a Fontain Pajot 40 in a few weeks to get a feel for their layouts. Both owners versions.
I do hope y'all keep adventuring after your circumnavigation! What is the plan? Will you keep sailing?
Great question! We are going to do a Q&A soon. I'll add this one to the list!
@@SailingParadiseFallswow cool thx! I have a couple more questions if allowed. How old do think Davis will be be at end of circumnavigation? Do you think you might slow down a little and spend more time in some locations?
As of right now we plan to make it back home by June 2026. Davis really wants to go to high school with his friends. We are unsure at this time if we will keep the boat and possibly do introduction to liveaboard charters? Unless we hit the lottery, we will need to find more funds too. Most likely will settle down until Davis graduates then Rob & I will probably get an RV and travel the US, Canada and Mexico. A lot too depends on how and what our 3 older kids are doing too😊
You all look so chilled, your grooves and mojo are simply beaming. But, I am a little concerned with the grocery stores, I mean, where is... the Diet Coke? I hope y'all aren't running low on supplies...
Well, we haven't found diet anything since arriving. First world problems. But the natural scenery and human connections are are sublime!
@@SailingParadiseFalls Couldn't agree more. It's all nurture for ones heart and soul, beautiful new memories that will be cherished and shared for many years to come. So here's to you all this wonderful day 🙂
Did she.believe it was a real tattoo? Congrats on 200 days.
She did! It was hilarious. She won’t know until she watches this video that it was fake.
That's going to be a good prank
We shall see! So far she thinks it's real!
