Actually, for once, a gender swap might be interesting. This sounds like a good concept, rather than trying to recreate the contrast of personalities like Fraser/Martin, they could have a study of father/daughter with similar personalities and see how it pans out.

I always said, they never should have done this reboot, they were never going to recreate the magic that was the original Frasier series, but they should have done a spinoff show from Frasier , centered around Bebe Grazier and her talent agency.
This reboot feels like it’s missing something important. It has to be the writing because even talented actors from the original can’t pull it off. I can’t understand any true fan claiming to enjoy this show maybe it’s delusion.
dont know why people call this a reboot, its clearly a continuation. a reboot would be something new with new actors and new stories, this is just Fraiser 2.
This should have been the premise for this Frasier revival. One of the reasons the original Frasier worked so well was the way Frasier and Niles got along (or didn't get along). Frasier having a daugter who shared his style in clothing and his intellectual pursuits would be a lot funnier than what we have now.
I've been in two minds about continuing this series after the first couple of episodes. Not keen on the Fraisier's son (he wasn't a particularly interesting character in the original anyway) and the roommate, there's a fair bit of overacting from the new characters. The original actors just knew how to do comedy subtly and seamlessly. But seeing clips of Bebe and Roz makes me want to watch again. Plus I love Rachel Bloom! Literally, this show could have just been Fraiser finding out he has a daughter with Bebe, and watching their dynamic, with David thrown in. It would have been so good!
