One of the most underrated romances in television history. It was teased and played perfectly by sublime writers and actors. I remember as a kid knowing that’s what a courtship should look like. Never outlandish or mean, but kindness and love. I love that couple.
This was drawn out so long but in such a natural way it didn't seem like it was unnecessary. And then when the roles were reversed when Niles didn't know Daphne knew and she was the one agonizing over missed opportunities, it kept it going so well. They teased it for so long that when they FINALLY were both in the right place at the same time it was SO satisfying. The greatest on-screen romance in t TV history in my opinion.
You can tell Daphne was into him. Jane Leeves confirmed this in an interview. However, she didn't think she had a shot because Niles always preferred the finer things in life and she was not of the same class, which is why she saw everything he did as friendly.
The sitcom Frasier remains fresh and original because of amazing actors, creative, clever, writing, and top notch directing… it has aged incredibly well. I know for a fact I have watched all 11 seasons at least six times and it never gets old.
Watched this only for Niles.. next level acting 👌🏻 As much as we loved them together and were rooting for them, wish it hadn't happened like that.. Donny didn't deserve that.
It's very hard to pick a favourite in this Wonderful Amazing Programme Superbly Written its hard to believe its not real ! I'm completely hooked on it ❤❤❤❤❤
I loved how this story played out in the show. So beautiful. ❤ the only thing that came this close was on Monk between Sharona and Randy - too bad they fired Bitty!
Mr. Pierce, I apologize for pressing the flesh. You're a magnificent actor. I'm quite sure you light up the screen, BUT, I wouldn't watch Frasier without seeing you in the midst of the other actors, though I love Kelsey, I watch the program primarily to watch you.
I always felt when Nile and Daphne got together, it took away from the show. The edge and humor was in Nile’s chasing Daphne and fawning over her from afar. Once they got together it became a typical sitcom relationship. If anything, they should’ve gotten together at the very last episode. Kelsey Grammar said “there was no where else to go, we had to put them together” so i get it.
So you're one of those people thanks to whom we used to have ridiculuous dragged out will-they-won't-they stories... You know that there is also a lot of comedy in married life, right?
I just got finished the series, yet again, and it was until this one last time that I noticed that about her. Though he changed too but not in a bad way. She seemed to yell a lot.

Well you know, apart from being married or engaged to other people. Minor details
One of the most satisfying relationships in television history. The origins of David!
Too bad they decided to take her character in such a shrewish direction after they got married
I agree 👍💯 And they actually get married on the show !!!
He was so well cast as their son, too.
@@FranMSK I agree! Alot of people don't, but I think he looks like them (especially Niles) and is a very talented actor.
Shame the actor for David is terrible 🤣

I 2nd that!
Amen

Could you link the source? I could have sworn she hinted Daphne *might* be into him or something.
@ oh my gosh, I think it was in one of the DVD commentaries or behind-the-scenes.
@@rubyeye8302 no she did an interview and said she thought it might be interesting if their roles were switched.
Just shows you need to take a leap. Regrets for an action not taken, are worse.
Sometimes I search up Daphne & Niles just to feel something 💜 Absolutely iconic couple!
Niles is my FAVORITE character. ❤❤❤
Mine too
Same! Of all time
Mine too!
“Fasten yours, Niles.”
Honestly the entire show could’ve ended right there, on that line. And it would’ve been perfect.
I was at the taping for that iconic episode! 😊
Daphne getting in the rv in her wedding dress always gets me even when watching it in reruns.
These two were fantastic together! So funny, sweet and satisfying to watch unfold.
It has been the absolute greatest Love story on TV in MY lifetime. ❤️ 📺

I agree! It's like comfort food for the soul. ♥️
I've never been happier for two fictitious characters ever.
I was sooo fully invested in their relationship coming to fruition throughout the series! Most adorable couple in TV sitcom history! ❤️❤️❤️
The way Daphne found out that Miles loved her was everything.
This Show Never Gets Old
"Dr. Crane, your glockenspiel has sprung to life!"
OMFG
My favorite show. Literally watch it everyday. Niles was always my fav, he’s hilarious. Love how he loved Daphne.❤
It took me a long long time to realize how incredibly good this is
I watch frasier over and over again. UK
The Tango episode was one of the best episodes ever on TV
I've probably seen that balcony scene at least a dozen times, and I still get a lump in my throat every single time.
I was so happy when they finally become together! Love that show ❤❤❤❤
My favorite sitcom love story ever. Thanks for the video!
This show was awesome...great script, amazing actors...They made me happy....love them
5:35 I love the implications when he starts to put the tray back down 😂
NBC in the 90s did the sitcom slow-burn better than anything! Niles and Daphne, Richard and Caroline -- I was obsessed with them when I was a teen!
The most beautiful and underrated couple in television history
The episode Moon dance in season 3 is one of the most beautifully written episodes of tv the chemistry between them as well was always amazing ❤
I’ve just twigged as to why the episode was titled ‘Moon Dance’. How long has that taken me?
Daphne and Niles walked so that Jim and Pam could run
There a much better couple that Jim and Pam were though.
Loved those two. One of my favourite sitcoms 😊.
Checking in from UK 🇬🇧.
6:46 Still gives me goosebumps 😊
My favourite sitcom couple of all time
I miss this show. It was brilliantly funny, and the cast was fantastic.
And the sequel series is rather rubbish.
It was my favorite love story. But boy was it long!! Once it happened, I was so thrilled!!!!
The episodes from the massage onwards were TV gold.
Daphne totally had the Rachel haircut lol
Thank you for sharing this ❤I just love their relationship!!
So good to watch !! Frazier watching the TH-cam Frazier clips ! Great before bed a good laugh !!!!
Your glockenspiel has sprung to life! 😂😂😂
BEST line ever, I fall about every time I hear it😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🎉
This was the best romance ever . I enjoyed the scene when he burned his hand and she rub cream on his hand so gently awesome!!
Watched this only for Niles.. next level acting 👌🏻 As much as we loved them together and were rooting for them, wish it hadn't happened like that.. Donny didn't deserve that.
He ends up with a happy ending though, and his pain was not as deep as Niles.
I love them as a couple!❤
I always forget how hilarious that tango scene is 😂😂😂
Would have liked to see the scene where they're working together in the kitchen and sing "Heart and "Soul".
There should legit be 2 parts to this 💯
This is awesome! I can't wait for season 2 to be released!
I was very heartbroken when it didn't return back on regular TV. Fraiser and Niles keep me laughing.😊
The best romance in TV history. I still remember watching the finale of season 7 & being excited about it.
Niles loves that working class Venus
Niles had some of the affectations and so on of Frasier, but Niles is sweeter and not as pompous.
It's very hard to pick a favourite in this Wonderful Amazing Programme Superbly Written its hard to believe its not real ! I'm completely hooked on it ❤❤❤❤❤
The tango scene is how I am 😂. Play the part, be passionate, it's not real. I'm always surprised when ppl say it was real for them 😮.
It was a long time coming and I'm so glad it did.
I loved how this story played out in the show. So beautiful. ❤ the only thing that came this close was on Monk between Sharona and Randy - too bad they fired Bitty!
Memorable moments ❤❤❤❤ Wish these things can come back❤❤❤❤❤again on TV....
Love this show!!!
Gonna have to rewatch Frasier
you and me both😊😊
My all time favorite show
Takes a whole lot of love to propose to someone with a cold like that😂😂❤
Niles, Daphne and Martin were always the stars of the show for me and the reboot is much diminished by their absence.
No Heart and Soul?
I wish they would join Frasiers new show
Brilliant Fantastic Feelgood, and Wonderfull Love Story ❤❤
The most loving & underrated couple in TV history: Niles & Danny Kriezel in season 2 ...
My favourite couple ❤
Love Niles - David
This romance was done so much better than Ross and Rachel. Once they got together sadly the series started to decline.
Yes… So many of the writers that made it brilliant left. 😢
❤❤😭😭😭 i just love this
Best ever funny heartwarming love story in a comedy.
I really miss this show...
Best si-com in history
I don’t blame Niles. I think we all got the Hots for Daphne. 😍
Great writing

Yes I adore them too. Both do sweet and Different. As a jaded older woman, it gives me hope ❤
I miss this show!
I miss them!
Rewatching these clips, something that's nice to wonder about is whether Daphne was thinking the same thing.
Funnily enough, Jane is from Essex, whereas John Mahoney who played the father, he grew up in Manchester, before before heading out to America at 18.

Ross and Rachel, Leonard and Penny...
@@Bennyboy1212-f4e Huh? Leonard and Penny getting togethet was a good writing choice and didn't take away or ruin the comedy at all
So you're one of those people thanks to whom we used to have ridiculuous dragged out will-they-won't-they stories... You know that there is also a lot of comedy in married life, right?
Ross and Rachel who?
Good stuff.....
Daphne don't wear high heels, it would be a Tom Cruise Nicole Kidman moment.
Wow
When the world remembers the great loves, Anthony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, Niles and Daphne....will they ever forget Fred and Rose
Frasier reboot ain't the same without Niles. 😞
Agree 100%
Their relationship was drawn out way too long. Their first kiss was a let down. But the series is still one of my favorites!
Too bad they decided to take her character in such a shrewish direction after they got married
Watch the season after they got married 😢
I just got finished the series, yet again, and it was until this one last time that I noticed that about her. Though he changed too but not in a bad way. She seemed to yell a lot.
That also was when she was pregnant.
