I was asked by Neceros to give this map a try and after playing two other maps of his, this one doesn't disappoint.
This is the raw footage originally meant only to be viewed by Neceros so he could watch my progress to see if he wanted to make any changes to the map and just to see how someone attacks the map. But to be honest, the map does most of the attacking.
But, we thought others might like to see this adventure, too. So here it is - enjoy!

I really like this style video. Do things on camera *and* off camera, and just update us when you get little projects or steps done. Very good video.
About the bedrock, I may have put something above the bedrock. I don't recall. 😢
That was my first thought - about something above the bedrock. I didn't expect that but if you did - well done. That was amazing foresight. I doubt I would have thought of that.
I did test the bedrock ceiling theory in a test overworld and it did work. I thought maybe the bedrock ceiling only worked in the nether.
My next thought was to see if you extended the walls down to the very bottom as I might see if I can sneak outside the walls, get to the roof and clear whatever you put there. I don't think you'd put bedrock walls AND barrier blocks - but you never cease to surprise me.
Another thought I had was to built a nether portal that puts me outside the dungeon so I can get to the roof that way.
And while that might be considered cheating, you did originally ask me to test this map and to me that includes trying to break it, or at least exploit the features of Minecraft in the map. So really, all should be fair in love and war, or map testing.
I don't think I need to do that, but if I find the dungeon too hard I might just give it a shot - just to see what happens.
So far so good, though.
And I kind of like this style of recording, too. Sometimes when I clear an area it takes a long time but it can be exciting so I want to show it. But sometimes it's just more of what you've already seen so I just need to do an update.

Too bad the beacon didn't work. But at least you have your potions.
I guess I'll just have to use the beacon somewhere else (foreshadowing.)
And just a heads up, I'm going to be slowing down the frequency of episodes as I'm starting to get caught up, so I don't think there are any bonus episodes this weekend. Sorry.
