Oh man!! You guys find the best of Italy. And you have these wonderful small villages all to yourselves👍👍!! The old churches! I love Abruzzo and can't wait to go back and see more of the area. Thanks for sharing and also for including i gatti😺!!
@@Just_me_dawn not particularly, it's been a while since I visited, but these videos can be a huge help as many of them say where they're staying. I would also look directly at airbnb. Their descriptions usually say what sights they are close to and how many miles away. Good luck with your choices!
Thanks! Picking out the music is always really hard. The Sabri song is originally Arabic i think but Mahmoud sang it at the Notte della Taranta festival so in my mind that counts as Italian now for video purposes. Same with the Stromae song. It was a great place to stay!
Fascinating! Would you say Fara was the highlight of your trip? I saw a house for sale there and wondered if there are many others for sale, it’s a good place to live or if it even has public transportation. I’ve heard it’s illegal for foreigners to drive their own vehicles there.
Hi sorry for the delay, I usually get emails when somebody comments but didn't for these. We liked Fara a lot but not sure we would do a long stay there. My wife has relatives there which is the main reason we stay there. The location is great but they don't have a lot of choices for morning coffee and/or restaurants compared to some of the other towns. They do have a couple nice grocery stores. That said, everything is within driving distance so maybe that's not so important. I don't think it has the public transport options like other towns do but that is based only on what we have heard, not from experience. I would definitely have your own transport available for day trips and such.

Thank you! Abruzzo is one of our favorite places in Italy - great scenery and yummy food. And friendly cats.
Is there a town that you recommend to stay as the home base?

Awesome music. Sounds moorish or something. What a nice getaway!❤
