Thanks for this vid! People should know how powerful is Castor oil, it helped my skin and hair A LOT. This with combination with microneedling, it's a big miracle. I have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible (Also been suffering from hairloss), anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. However, nothing made any real difference compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for around 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 18 again, but definitely not 44 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist, hair became thicker again. People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin + thinking that using oils won't do much because it's natural.

+1 for kora. I started doing microneedIIing since it started 12 or so years ago. Nobody believe I am 55. They all say I am in my late 30's or early 40's. I assume it works so well because when we get older, our skin gets thinner therefore creating wrinkIes. But the wounding kept my skin still thick and youthful.

    EDITED FOR CLARITY.
SEE ALL-CAPS WORDS ADDED TO THE THIRD SENTENCE.
    Great info as usual, Shea.
Here’s another use for castor oil. I’m a Nordic blonde with thin, delicate skin. IN THE EARLY 2000s, when I was in my early 50s, my hands became covered with dozens of dark brown seborrheic keratoses - practically overnight. This was from plenty of unprotected sun exposure from 1949 to 1967.
My doctor told me to cover my hands in castor oil and cotton gloves overnight and every night until I saw results. It took a couple months, but every last one of those age spots disappeared without a trace - never to return.
I often use castor oil sparingly, like a lotion, on top of slightly damp skin, whenever my hands feel particularly dry or look more crepey than they have to.
The castor oil treatments also seem to keep my skin from becoming too transparent and allowing my veins to completely show through. They also keep my veins from bulging out (as happens with most elderly women).
While castor oil hasn’t given me back the hands of my youth, I’d say that my 74-year-old hands look like the hands of a 48-50 year old. And holding. 😊

    • @melissac.5948
      @melissac.5948 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +76

@@vickiemartin1453. Vickie, I should clarify. The veins in the backs of my hands have always been small, but they started to become raised, darker, and a bit bulging this year. I hadn’t used castor oil as often as I maybe should have lately, so I upped my treatments and the veins flattened down and were less visible again. My skin appears thicker again. I’ve read often that castor oil can stimulate collagen production, and that could well be the case here. There is quite a difference. I’m sure it can help you, but these days there are medical procedures at vein treatment Centres that can help and are quick and pain free. Most hand veins typically disappear after only one sclerotherapy session and other veins take over their jobs. This hasn’t been something I’ve really needed as of yet, but I’ve heard about it and seen some great results. I had one sclerotherapy session on spider veins on my thigh some 30 years ago, and it was successful. As usual, speaking with a doctor is best. But castor oil is still so great!

Putting castor oil just on your belly button is enough to heal and benefit everything you've mentioned in the video. The belly button is the focal point to 72 thousand veins and the centre of the belly button is connected to the central nervous system too. What I'm saying is that if people don't want to mission around putting it in their hair, stretch marks etc, just putting it in the belly button is actually enough. It will distribute throughout the body and benefit in many ways. I did research on it and experimented myself a few years back and my skin improved and was a lot more moisturised, my hair grew quicker and was a lot softer and shinier, my nails became stronger, my digestion improved etc. I did sometimes apply it directly on to me in some cases like for example imperfections on feet and eyelashes only sometimes, but mainly just my belly button and I saw drastic changes just by doing that alone.
I did this for a while I'm not sure why I stopped, you've inspired me to do it again 😊 thank you for your video

I dissolved/broke down/disappeared a breast lump using a castor oil heat pack (DIY). I also added frankincense oil to the castor for good measure. ;) My doctor wanted to go straight to biopsy and I asked for some time to try non-invasive techniques.
Everyone was shocked. A nurse came back in my exam room afterwards to quietly ask what I had done because she had just discovered a lump as well and was scared of the biopsy route.
    And that was that!

    • @JessicaNiles
      @JessicaNiles 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +229

@@ayishasadique1620 you can Google a castor oil pack for more details BUT- just keep it simple. Don't buy any expensive kit.
You soak a cotton or flannel cloth in castor oil, 1-2 tablespoons or so. This is reusable. Don't throw it out! Then place the soaked cloth on the area you want to treat. On top of THAT, lay a good amount of plastic wrap (Saran Wrap or whatever) over it, and then a heating pad on top of all that. (Save your soaked cloth in a jar for the next time.)
I did this for 30-45 minutes once or twice a day.
Don't let the stickiness of castor oil dissuade you! It's a beast to deal with at first but it DOES penetrate and you don't end up a gloppy mess.
Just make sure you have everything you need before settling down for your treatment. I like to have a slightly soapy wet washcloth nearby to wipe my hands as needed.
      Good luck!!

Used castor oil on my baby's scalp for a weekly hair mask...she had lots of cradle cap and was losing her hair! I was so sad because it was so dark and thick when she was born and now she was balding!! But then about 3 weeks into the weekly treatments, and using a scrub brush, we saw drastic improvement! She has thick, beautiful, blonde hair now!!

I have been using castor oil for 1 week.
My mind is BLOWN!! I am 62 years young and have struggled with dry skin “out of nowhere” and finding I can’t find a makeup foundation that doesn’t find or create tiny fine wrinkle lines… it has been exasperating, embarrassing, and verging in depressing. I am SHOCKED at how great my skin looks. Not only eliminating those fine lines but age old scars and problems I have had for years… What?? It’s real. I have started slow to see if this is actually really real because I am hoping it can be a solution for other skin related concerns.

Coming from Tamil Nadu (India), as a child, I remember using this often for so many things. Especially whenever I had stomach ache, I used this on my lower abdomen and in the belly button of course, and it worked wonders. I also mixed it with other oils to apply it all over my body, and for my hair too. This oil is very traditional to us and used widely in past, however, it is sad that people started forgetting it. Always better to start slow and in small quantities to see how the body reacts to it. I believe the experiences shared in this video coming from the culture where it was/is used widely.

Flax seed oil (FSO), taken internally, helps dry eyes too! I take 1 TBSP in the morning and 1 at night of LIQUID FSO. Capsules don't have the same results. When my eyes feel better, I back down to 1 TBSP a night. When I forget to take it for extended periods, my dry eyes will start acting up again, so I just resume taking the flaxseed oil.
Also, FSO relieved my hot flashes completely. I didn't even know when I was post menopausal because I had no symptoms of menopause!
One more benefit, FSO heals the nerve and nourishes the nerve sheath. I learned this by accident after sustaining nerve injury from an accident. That was actually when I discovered it relieved hot flashes as well. Such a pleasant surprise!

I used castor oil... and because I felt like going to extremes and lived alone at the time I would use a lot of castor oil.. and bought it by the jug and then spending the day fasting and doing "nothing" but being deep rest and meditation... I did this a few times and it was amazing... drinking water and tea... and I felt so good I was so sure I would keep this practice up intermittently for the rest of my life... disappointingly it became that thing I can always do tomorrow until I left the practice aside... and when I wanted to return to it, I no longer had the privacy or space... sometimes i think about renting a hotel room just to do this.... once I just spent a whole weekend in oily, fasting meditation and rest and monday morning I felt new...

When I was in my 20's I was plagued with warts on my fingers. I went through several very painful sessions of liquid nitrogen treatments where the doctor would freeze the warts. Unfortunately, the warts always grew back. During my last treatment the doctor told me if this treatment didn't work I could try rubbing caster oil into them several times per day. When that liquid nitrogen session didn't work I bought a bottle of caster oil and rubbed it into the warts 3 or more times per day. The warts disappeared over the course of a month and have not reappeared! I am now 67! Caster oil was a miracle worker for me!

I made little empty herb jars of a castor oil and essential oils mixture for them all and, although my son wasn't a believer before... the dry skin on his face and head have completely cleared up; within about a week!! He's well impressed!
Recipe: 3/4 fill a small cleaned spice/herb jar (Schwartz stylie) with your chosen Castor oil. Add 5 drops of Lavender essential oil and 5 drops of Geranium essential oil. Shake gently to mix. Massage into face, neck and scalp at any time for instant relief. It gets absorbed really quickly so shouldn't leave your skin sticky or slippery. I read that Edgar Cayce often prescribed castor oil packs for various maladies. So I did a bit of research and ordered the oil and some white flannel. My intention was to use packs for my husband’s arthritis. Well, he wouldn’t sit still long enough, declared it didn’t work and I put the stuff away. Fast forward a few months when our 14 month old Vizsla apparently climbed on the cast iron firewood rack and injured her front leg pretty bad. (I say apparently because we were outside blowing leaves and that was the only thing I could see that she could have possibly done to injure her leg.) Anyhow, when we came in, she was yelping like crazy and hopping around on three legs. Upon examination we figure either a fracture or a very bad sprain. Of course we called our vet but they couldn’t see us till next morning for XRays. Then we called the nearest 24 hour veterinary hospital and they couldn’t get her in until 11:00 pm. (This was around 4:00 pm). They also said even if the XRays did reveal a fracture that they would have to call a veterinary orthopedic surgeon who wouldn’t be able to see her till the next day. (Cha ching)
So I declined the 11:00 pm hospital appointment, called our regular vet back and asked if they could at least give me a mild sedative to keep her calm till I could get her to their office for XRays the next morning. (Vizslas are super super hyper and at 14 months, she’s still got that puppy energy which makes her MEGA high energy.) They were happy to prescribe and I sent my husband to pick up the meds. It wasn’t long before she was drowsy and I laid her on the bed in the guest bedroom, waking her once to drink some water and to carry her outside to the bathroom.
Around 9:30 I decided I would sleep with her in the guest bed. So as I got into bed with her she woke a little bit, tried to stand up, but couldn’t because of that injured leg. Clearly, she was still in much pain, albeit drowsy. I started thinking what else could I do for her? And then I remembered the castor packs.
So I slathered the oil directly on her leg (the joint) put the flannel over it, wrapped that in Saran Wrap, then wrapped a heating pad on medium heat around it. Around 3:00 am I woke her up, carried her outside to pee, and gave her more water. She seemed a bit better, stood on all fours to drink, but still a bit of a limp. I carried her back to bed, reapplied the oil and flannel and Saran Wrap and heating pad just as before.
When we woke up around 7:00, she jumped off the bed like nothing had ever happened! I called the regular vet to say I didn’t think we needed to come for the X-rays; they agreed if it were broken we would clearly know it. And even as I spoke to them she was signaling to go out to chase a squirrel in our yard. They didn’t think I was crazy with the castor packs although said they’d never heard of one being used on a dog, lol. I’m convinced, though, that it was nothing short of a miracle both in how quickly and effectively it worked, but also in saving a thousand or two dollars. 100 % recommend and encourage everyone to make castor oil and flannel wraps part of their home first aid kits,

These comments are pure gold, like someone else said! I want to share my experience with castor oil. I have used it as eye drops! I went to the eye doctor over 6 years ago and had gotten glasses. (I've worn glasses most of my life!) They did scans and everything. Told me I had the beginnings of cataracts, which many people do! I went back almost a year ago (May 2023) and they repeated the same scans. The doctor was a new doctor in that office but had been an eue doctor for years! She could NOT tell the scans apart except the dates on the scans themselves! She told me whatever I was doing to keep doing it! I had use castor oil as eye drops for the previous couple months just for a moisterizer. Yes! I bought dropper bottles and put it directly in my eyes! It took away my floaters and apparently, kept my eyes healthier! She said the cataract growth had not grown at all! She showed me the scans and they looked identical!! I'm definitely NOT a professional but they looked identical! I have looked into castor oil and have suggested it to my firneds and family for all sorts of issues! I use it all over my face and down my throat, not every night but I'm trying to get into that habit again. My next trial is going to be trying to use it onmy scalp! I have scalp psoriasis and want to see if it helps! I have heard and read it helps with thyroid issues, inflammation and arthritis as well as things you mentioned and people have mentioned below! I 've been using castor oil randomly for a few weeks on my forearms to reduce bumps and they flattened a bit, but what stunnned me, is I have a black raised birthmark that was 1inch in diameter, since I was born with it, it didn't bother me, but IT'S SHRUNK IN HALF & It's FLAT! I thought it was due to daily collagen. I'm 67!

Did you just put oil on skin and rub in or did you put a bandage over it?

I use my castor oil with 100% Squalane oil at bedtime (on my acne prone skin) and mixes really well and easily. We Islanders make our own castor oil and use it for many things. Don't know why all the fuss but and am happy to hear many are using it.

I started using this for cellulite and have seen a slow but good response so far, but I really noticed a couple of heavy veins I had started tightening up. I wasn't expecting that at all but I was so excited to see it. After your foot story, I want to try this for a neuroma I have had for 20 years!

I have spider veins around my ankles, plus some have magically turned into surface level red spots, which I also newly have on my thighs now, too. Below my knees, I also used to have psyorisis (which lessened there, but morphed to other parts of my body, now), but below my knees, the skin still is kinda bad in general. And I have had "chicken skin" red pores below my knee for almost my whole life. So, I don't know what the big deal is with everything happening below my knees (my shins and calves, ankles), but I've been looking for remedy ideas and since you said you had good results with veins, I'm going to try the castor oil around my ankles, etc. I can't imagine it not working. I haven't seen many people talk about the shrinking veins, so thank you for mentioning that!

Thank you for this video Shea! It's also great to see all these comments! Since my Endometriosis started getting worse a half year ago, I started treating my belly and Yoni with castor oil, which means: a pack every day and night and a soaked tissue once a week for my cervix during the night. It's the first time since 6 months I almost have no pain during the bleeding. And before I was almost passing out, because the pain was so heavy. I notice a lot of stuff going on in my system, physicall and emotional. So I combine this treatment with lots of other stuff as well (change of nutrition, trauma-bodytherapy, curcuma, probiotics, electrolytes, etc.). Everything is changing quite a lot. I really love this treatment!!!

It also works great for bee and wasp stings. Apply immediately and reapply often and the inflammation goes away much quicker than other remedies.. Also works well for fire ant bites…no blisters.

For years now I’ve suffered from extremely dry eyes. I get eyedrops on prescription, but they help very little. My eyes were constantly irritated and tears running down my face. Yesterday, I decided to try castor oil. In the afternoon I put one drop on each upper eyelid and gently dabbed my eyes including the corners and the lash lines. Repeated this at bedtime. This morning I woke up and my eyes felt amazing. I will continue this with three times daily one drop.I was diagnosed with the onset of cataracts three months ago. Let’s see if there is any improvement on that issue as well. Thank you very much for this video. I enjoyed it very much. ❤

I totally agree with you. I have been using this at night on my face for about 2 months. My eyelashes have definitely gotten longer. I love the hydration it provides. I have also seen my eyes looks to much clearer in the morning, no more Eye drops to clear redness.

You sold me on castor oil when you said it helped with the monthly headaches. I get them too, and while they only last one day/month, I can't do anything that day, and they're extremely painful, and makes me feel so nauseated. I cannot WAIT to try castor oil! Thank you!!!

@@catherineg.9947 it definitely diminished them, yeah. I don't think they were spider veins, or the ones that protrude. They were just so noticeable deep blue and red. Then I added a self tanner, and my legs looked normal lol. After gaining weight, I think that's when the veins appeared so obvious.
