The insight that helped me was: Recognise that the feeling I enjoy is actually the feeling of desire, of wanting the thing, not the feeling of having it. Now I know that, if I actually buy the thing, I'm gonna lose that great desire feeling that I enjoy. And if I really want, I can always come back tomorrow and look at it again, in the shop, and enjoy that wanting feeling once again.
I'm in the 10%. I'm not a fan of Target 😆 I've shopped there before, but normally only if I have a gift card. I've gotten much better and shopping more intentionally in the past few years. I have a running list of items that I'm on the lookout for - either clothing or for the home. That has been a huge help.
Create a grocery list and only buy what is on the list, it works for me. I sometimes get a few extra grocery items, but I stopped impulse buying random things after I changed my mindset.
I love this haha. Target is perfect😂 However working there curbed my desire to buy from there. Only worked there a few months, not sure what did it lol
Oh Lord i think this is a sign 😔 I just stumble across this channel. I really want to change before i move into my new home. I just don’t know how to get rid of the hoard tfs
Believe me or not, I DO NOT like target. I'm not a coffee drinker, so maybe that explains it. As much as wally world is stupid, messy and the management is abusive, I would rather shop there. They have the same items as your list, except the fancy coffee place. Impulse buying? I see coffee cake (oh that's where the coffee comes in for me - lol), take it home, eat it, poof, not taking up any space in the house. There's also all those crazy flavored popcorn and cake mixes at wally world. Those don't last long in my house either. Impulse buying? Not an issue. Plants do give us much needed oxygen, especially in the toxic world we live in, you might want to reconsider those. Does wally world sell tread mills, because I could use one. Dag gum, that's the catch, now I have to use up space for a treadmill. Too hot to go walk outside, maybe when Autumn comes.....ok, you're right, no more impulse buying.
Love your blank walls: calm, soothing, spacious, zen & quiet. Keep it up.

Haven't been to Target since the bathroom debacle... They kinda helped me out I guess 😂
I have been to Target once my life. Straight into get Pumpkin Noosa yogurt when they were the only source. Straight out.
What is the opposite of impulse buying? That’s what I do.
Just this year I finally bought a backpack that I’ve been wanting since 2019. 😂

We all need a hero like Hubert! ⭐
Can you share your minimalist hygiene/skincare routine please? Because your skin is glowing.
It’s true. Love target. But since, watching your videos and other minimalist videos, I don’t buy things that are not necessarily.
Love this! Do you guys have a video on minimalist Christmas?!
I sooooo needed to hear this! 👍🏻🤗

We just don't go into stores and we do grocery pickup.
Give up target 🎯 done… gave them up for good in May. I just can’t support them.
Online shopping for me. Amazon is way worse than Target😂
❤👍
I'm so indecisive, I haven't ever impulse shopped. Lol. Target is alright, Very over rated. I have 2 home decor items from there.

Actually, Target is a little upper middle class. Walmart is the store of the masses. :)
