This guy just bringing immaculate vibes to the tennis space. We going to collab soon. Subscribe guys, subscribe
Perhaps you can also come to NYC, Karue, where we can play a set or two! 😉
NYC tennis guide, what to bring:
Grand central - a hedge fund manager
Central park - a retiree hitting insanely flat balls
Fort Greene - hipster vintage tennis outfit
USTA center - selfie-stick
Randall Island - extra pride, bc the juniors there will bagel your ***
PS - concept for your video. 11/10.
Part of what I enjoy about your channel: The friendship with your brother. I can tell you guys are best friends. Special.
Appreciate that!
Being a tennis player in NYC takes dedication (and $$$). I take lessons at the NTC in Flushing - $45 is an unbelievable price (for NYC) and it's such an iconic venue. The good thing about Vanderbilt is they have a practice court with ball machines that's not badly priced if you just want to work on your strokes. You should do a Part 2 - there's Astoria, the indoor courts at Sutton East, Roosevelt Island, etc. Great vid!
is this the greatest tennis youtube video of all time?
Yes. Yes it is. The production, the audio, the shots, and just the cool stuff!
Nah but it’s up there with the greats
This is up there with "The Courts" video.
No?
Former Brooklyner, and love that you guys got to Fort Greene. So nice you had a hookup for snagging a court instead of having to start standing in line at 6am like all of us used to. Although that usually meant getting to chat with Walter the most awesome park attendant we've ever had. Awesome dedication for making it to the sunrise session.
Missed McCarren Park. Heart of Williamsburg with lot of food, drinks, music venues, etc. Loved the vid.
No one's mentioned Frederick Johnson, up in Harlem, close to Rucker Park. 8 courts. But the courts there aren't in great shape, and 4 of them have this weird, slightly spongy surface. Nice people, though.
Atlanta, Ga tennis courts with views, good vibes, and/or many court options (in no particular order):
- Lifetime Peachtree Corners (20+ outdoor/indoor courts)
- Hammond Park (2 courts)
- Central Park (4 courts)
- Piedmont park (10+ courts)
- ITA Atlanta (8 indoor/outdoor courts)
- Sandy Springs Racquet Center (20+ indoor/outdoor courts)
Props to you guys for getting after it and waking up early for those courts. Appreciate the hard work & planning that goes into making a video like this
Its our pleasure!
Thought i was gonna fast forward through this but found myself watching the entire video and loved it! The sunrise session looks sick 🤙
I was hoping to see the secret tennis court on top of grand central station, and you didnt dissapoint!! Keep up the fresh content!
I know the bronx would have been a long trip for u guys but Crotona park and Gotham by Yankee stadium are a few nice places to check out there too.
I love that you're combining travel with tennis content. Bringing something unique. I could see this type of video blowing up.
Epic run! Top 3 courts are def 96th Clay, West Side Highway, and Central Park. And there was one you missed - McCarron Park in Brooklyn!
It's McCarren.
That moment when you flip your bro the bird after that greasy net cord win-proof that sibling rivalry never ages, even when you're traveling the world together! 😂 #TennisTravels
something you can only do to your brother haha
Some suggestions for round 2 in nyc:
West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, Queens - previous home of the US Open, grass courts, all white dress code
Astoria Park in Queens
McCarren Park in Williamsburg BK
And next time your in Queens y’all need to go to Utopia Bagels. Best bagels in the city 😁
This is honestly one of my fav vids from you trey. Keep it up man.
Loved the video! Next time you should try Riverside State park, it is elevated on the Hudson river and is amazing at sunset
just started tennis and love watching your journey, awesome stuff!
Great video as someone who’s a tennis fan who visited NYC but couldn’t play while there. Maybe consider doing other cities like Los Angeles or London or Paris
I absolutely love this video!!! Yall are killing it!
Awesome video and captured well the grind it is to play tennis in this great city!
In Brooklyn, at the border of Crown Heights and Brownsville, there's a nice tennis court at Lincoln Terrace/Author S. Somers Park.
you should come down to van cortlandt park next time its in the bronx its a nice spot
The 119th Riverside courts were my high school home courts...the nostalgia hitting different rn lol. Nice vid man 🔥
Do a similar video in Seattle in the summer. Alki Playground in West Seattle, Seaward Park Tennis Court, Lid Park on Mercer Island, Lower Woodland, Observatory Court in Queen Anne, Cal Anderson Park, Seattle Tennis Club, Jefferson Park and many more!
Man I'm 12 years old and can only play once a day so I would be sooooo pumped if I could play that much tennis in one day, I would never get tired of it, gotta love this sport.
Great vid by the way
Crazy work on the TH-cam tennis scene
Please come to Boston/Brookline/Newton to review all the courts🙏
If you check out the Wilson store, they have a mini indoor court!
What a great concept! I'm from New York, but I play primarily in Queens! but you hit a lot of the great ones in the city! keep up the good work!
I’m 50 and just took up tennis, favorite current TH-cam channel. 💪💪👊 keep it up
Trey, this is Keenan from the Vanderbilt Tennis Club session! It was a pleasure hitting you, and you getting the Dub 6-3! You can probably do a extended highlights video for your matches in NYC, where you can show the best rallies of each match! That Sunday Set is gonna come soon, Trey. I'm definitely coming for you for that rematch! 😉
Full video of our match will be coming in the next couple weeks!
Great job! I'm surprised you were able to get a court at every location. Agree with the #1 ranking for CP :) Next time try to visit some courts in Bronx too.
Great content guys! If you're looking for ideas, maybe try LA next time. Nothing like a good old NYC/LA contrast 😉
Lived in nyc for years, playing tennis is an absolute nightmare, way too hard to secure a court without waiting at least several hours or getting to the court at 6 am to stand in line to reserve a time
first time someone saying the real thing instead of this view 10/10 bs
Sick concept and enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks for bringing great vibes to our courts :)
Note that 96th Street and Central Park (and all other public courts) are just $90/YEAR to play on with the Tennis Pass, no marginal cost.
You guys absolutely crushed it getting court time, if you had told me how much tennis you were able to play in 48 hours I would've said it wasn't possible. Was glad to see the lab edit after NTC kept falling down the list lol... best hard courts in NYC hands down, maybe top in the US
Keep up the great vids, subbed
I have subscribed for the sole reason that you continue this series in different cities
Also the ranking element is important, you need to frame it as your opinion but i wanted to see the final rankings and you stopped it right at the end
Wow, just wow. 30 yrs. in NYC. 10 yrs. as a tennis player. I absolutely love this video. You murdered it. I've played in most of the venues. Just like everything else here, you have to be a little more dedicated to get what you want in NYC. But at $100 for a permit that lasts 8 months, it's not that bad to find an affordable place to play. Could quibble with the rankings but never the passion. Amazing videos guys.
You only saw a small sample of NYC tennis courts. There are a few hidden gems that aren't easy to find like courts hidden inside apartment buildings (and hotels), new courts by the water, and the iconic "cage" court in Brooklyn. If you are ever back I'll happily play you on any of the ones you missed.
but these are not opened to the public
Share them
@@Cmi1267 Yes they are. The apartment/hotel ones you just have to pay for court time.

Tennis enthusiat in Kosovo here. Great content. Salute to our tennis enrhusiast bretheren in Texas and New York.
oh man. new york can be tough for tennis. i live in brooklyn and have kids that play. thank you for scouting my city for me!
i can already tell this is another quality video trey. you just keep hitting!
Great video and Thank you! Corrections: NATC -> NTC - National Tennis Center. NYC Tennis permit cost is $100 for Adults, not $200 per year.
best tennis creators out there, great stuff boys
Love the video! Look forward to seeing y’all play in other cities
San Francisco/Bay Area has some decent Tennis Courts that are (mostly) free with great vibes & views:
Alamo Square Tennis Courts
Mission Dolores Park Tennis Courts
Alice Marble Tennis Courts
Lisa & Douglas Goldman Tennis Center
Glen Park Tennis Courts
Southview Park in Sausilito
Taube Tennis Center in Stanford
Fun video! Well done, boys.
If you ever get to the Philly area I'd love for you to do all courts in 24 hours! Might be possible, I'm a 4.0 if you get here 🎾
4:08 I thought these were har-tru courts until 4:12 💀
come in france we've got awesome tennis courts especially on clay
Try playing every court in London next, lets go :D
Nice video! U should make it a series and go to diff cities as well 👌🏼
Just wondering what racket do you use?
Thank you for your service my bros. 🙏🏼
Hit Chicago! Huge scene. Excellent pick-up games in Lakeshore Park.
Love chicago!
agreed. i’m a new yorker (who knows how brutal it is to play here) but just had a great visit to chicago where i played 4 different courts and hit with a great coach/hitting partner. lemme know if you want info.
Love your content, man!
Throwing my vote for Fort Greene as #1 because of the tennis community and immaculate vibes!
awesome! i wish i knew you were in the city, i would have offered to meet up and play. i'm glad you got to play at riverside, it's a treat! i have a canvas bag that says "new york city i thank you for all the blisters", 8 courts in 2 days... i think i should mail you the bag :)
You should make chapters in this video
Great vid, come to Boston …. Specifically to the Sharon Tennis Club
You missed a place on the Upper East Side 🎾
I play tennis in New York and you absolutely crushed this one. Great effort! Next time you should get on the grass at west side tennis since it’s been a while since your South Dakota trip. A little stuffy at that club but cool history
love the kendrick samples
You forgot Sutton East that's easily bookable with the city permit. Also Roosevelt Island and Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club is quite popular.
The West Side Tennis Club at Forest Hills, SPORTIME Randall's Island (Home of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy)
the goat tennis channel
OMG I would love to get a hit with you if you're still in town! Been following your channel since the jump!
saw you and your friend hitting in Austin yesterday morning. great serve!
Riverside in 119th could be my favorite. Central, prospect, and Jackie Robinson are the old standbys.
great content and great video!!
THIS IS THE MOST EPIC TENNIS VIDEO OF ALL TIME. YES, I AM YELLING.
thank you legend!
I’m a bit disappointed that you didn’t include a side trip to Rucker Park given your basketball backgrounds. You could have introduced some Texas flavor to the basketball shrine. Added your names to the list of greats who have played there. Kareem, Julius, Wilt, and now Trey and Kyle. It would be historic as you two are probably the only two TH-cam Tennis players capable of hanging there. Of course carrying tennis rackets might have presented a problem. You wouldn’t want to lose street cred before even stepping on the basketball court.
u missed the best one, the one under the gw bridge on riverside by 160th st , wash heights they are for free
I noticed that when you look up the term GOAT in the dictionary, there's now a picture of Trey.
Also, Vancouver is calling.
Come back to LA! Even on the eastside we could get at least 20+ different courts in
9:54 LMAO i always felt it was so stupid that players have to apologize for net cords
Come to the South of England :) Play on real Good grass, Bad grass, carpet, Artificial grass, Artificial clay, Indoor hard, outdoor hard
I’m a high school tennis coach in Virginia you should come to my tennis camp this summer. It’s a free camp for kids in my area 13 and under. In the afternoon we head down the mountain to a tennis camp that is for the varsity team. I had two kids make the state tournament this year. We’d love for you to come and be a coach for the camp and tag along to camp.
great vid. but u didnt try EVERY court. need a part 2
No rooftop courts? It's New York... I figured there'd be at least one. Also, watching this, I'm glad I live in a state where public courts are plentiful and always free.
Damn, y’all did the damn thing! That last court you played on is on my bucket list.
You guys missed the Mccarren Tennis courts in Williamsburg, another vibe and the NYC Parks people Irene and Robert are hilarious- think Seinfeld episode vibes- make sure to have a $15/day day permit from Paragon Sports.
We’ve got some really unique courts up in Montreal, Quebec - gimme a shout if you ever make your way up here for a hit and I’ll show ya around !
love this video boys!!
Bro i live in queens lets play sometime, this was a great video.
This is my favorite tennis video of 2024 so far.
You missed numerous tennis clubs in mid town that you have to pay to play like the BJK National Tennis Center & Vanderbilt that you featured. You also missed public courts on the East River along with some other hidden gems!
great video!!! please come to Boston!!!
9:53 legend
This is an amazing video, great channel!
Oh my god if those courts in Texas are bad the hardcourts in my small seaside town in the UK are literally grass courts with the weeds growing in the cracks. I busted my ankle playing on this crap i would love them texas courts over here come here 👐
Great vid idea! Would love to see more courts. One day you'll go on a world tour!
That's the plan!
Awesome stuff!
Maybe go to the Tampa area or Orange County area? Next step international, like Spain? Anyway amazing video, great job 👏
Dang I’ve played on most of these. Thanks for filming them all!
I live in NYC and you've played on more courts here than I have haha. I hope you enjoyed your trip and hope you can come back sometime. The US Open is always a fun time!
Our hope is that New Yorkers will realize just how difficult this was
@@Winners-Only 100%. I'm going to take the liberty of speaking on behalf of all New York tennis players and give you the stamp of approval lol. Fwiw, you played at my 3 favorite courts (Central Park, Riverside 96th Clay & the US Open Courts at NTC).
