Classic case of "this is gonna be a budget build" lol. My e46 has almost 300k on it and I've decided to do a full teardown, got about a 9k budget for some suspension and engine mods. Thanks a lot for demystifying the e46 turbo world my friend, cheers from the e39 world.

I went to 90ft lbs on my engine, ive been running for multiple years (a couple at 400-450, and another at almost 600)
the engines been very happy.

Hard motorsport rear fenders? Fitment is money man love it. How’d you get the front bumper to stretch to the new width?
That whole front along with m3 fenders make me regret selling my oem bumper.

Totally agree, I got the same bumper, and I think it looks great. Everyone swaps to mtechs, but with that lip and the fender, this looks way meaner!

The coupler from the e9x is a direct fit and made of solid aluminum.

I did a full rebuild on my m54 b30.
forged rods, forged pistons 10,5 to 1 compression, m12 head studs, m50 manifold, upgraded oil pump, upgrade bearings,
Supertech valve springs, engine cleaned surfaced acid bath, valve seats cut, port the intake and exhaust.
trying to get 600 bhp with this engine. Do you think it can reliably handle that?
not on pump gas. possibly e85?
You could definitely get that hp, id recommend e85 for sure
quick question since you are turboing e46, i have a 318d .. yes i know want to start with something low hp.. but i was thinking is it worth to just boost it more since it's already turbocharged by factory or do i keep it stock till i get a higher hp car?? i was thinking to get a better turbo but if i wanted that, the whole turbo setup would have to be replaced? correct?

What front bumper is that? Not the lip, I've never seen that style before.
Just the standard 330ci pre facelift, he just took out the little fins at the middle top portion

200 bucks for a junkyard motor? I run with sight unseen m52tub28 and these things cost 1200$ where i live :D for 200 i wouldnt even care about any maintanance.Just swap a motor real quick and send it ;d
