im building my 335i bought it with a blown up motor every one called me crazy its manual and a n54 rebuilt the turbos learned how to weld and down everything myself i put myself in debt for this but i have a vision that i want met and that debt is nothing when u work really hard

Use Rope-grease for corrosion prevention. Its sticky and will last forever 😊

my car sat for 9 months in a similar state 2 of them with no head when I realised i not only lifted the head on my m54 but the block went soft and took me another month to get motivated to put my new engine together. my car also only lasted like 5-8 thousand kms before a 25 psi mistake
Lost the key to my 79’ 7 series and no one knows how to lock pick it … been sitting with a brand new engine in it since July… needs suspension and I’m golden

Right now I’m looking into swapping N54 in E46 with 8HP transmission also, I put the rear end from M3 last year the different was crazy

No its a PPF 20° top mount
@@hellrotgarage is it the “m50 e36 top mount?” That’s the only ppf I find with the 20 degree offset

It would face the throttle downward
Running the 20° setup, how will the trans mount up will there be any issues with that?

Hey man i was curcurious if you would recommend a turbo setup or supercharger setup for 350-400hp, I have headbolt inserts rocking the stock bolt size, thicker head gasket, machine leveled head, welded oil pump nut, I want it to stay pretty dailyable but Ill have a back up car if I go boosted.
Always go turbo!
Just control yourself and keep it on 10psi or less.
