Guys! I finally have the lights up in my store! Right now they are $190 so grab a set before they go back to retail price! shifted-perspective.com/product/lux/
yeah this is definitely on my list of mods to do. Just had my first road trip in the M3, myself. The wife and I drove from Toronto to Long Island, NY and back. went to visit my wife's family for a few days. the drive was great, a pleasure more than a burdensome commute. I had so much fun passing everyone, lol! Came across an Rs4 on the way, took turns leading through the light traffic, enjoying the scenery in upstate NY. The E90 M3 is so much fun to drive, I almost want to do it again, just for the drive! lights look great, can't wait to do this myself.
Great video. LUX actually used your video as the preferred installation video on their website. I found your video on TH-cam first while doing my research. I went ahead to the LUX website and it linked me back to you. Awesome job. And keep up the great work.
ATTENTION!!! I bought a set from him very responsive and cool to talk with. Shipped very fast and arrived in perfect order. Just a FYI for the viewers. Thanks Brandon
Just installed the 180's in my E90 M3 last night. Note that one of the three "locking notches" is smaller than the other two. This one goes in facing up. Took me forever to find that out on the first one I did. Second one went quick. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for all the great vids!
Darwin Carbajal Ik that’s with the newer stock angel lights, but if you buy aftermarket angel lights there’s a code in the system that checks the lights when it turns on, which makes them flicker(sorry for the essay of explanation)
Great video, quick question I have a 2009 pre LCI and wants to change these bulbs but there are separate bulbs on each side DLR and normal how would this work with this kit or?
Hey Brandon, why don't you try those V5 on your car (if possible. I know you are trying to get rid of them!), to see how they look like in comparison? I am still undecided as to which ones to get...
I put them in but havent been ablento get all 3 clips to lock just the top...any tips? And i turned it to the right to loosen so i have to turn it the same way to tighten?
Its nearly impossible to install whitout touching the glass, nice that it does not do any bad for the bulb. :) It took me about 20-25min struggle to get them in but it is worth it. 😅👍
Are they too bright to even take pictures with. I still want my halos to show up in pictures. Pls lmk asap .. I know someone selling the 180 for 150$??? Pls lmk
Hi Brandon, I have an 07' BMW 320d M Sport Coupe. Would these fit on that? They come factory fitted with xenon bulbs I believe, I have yellow daytime running lights but would really like to get a look like yours on it instead.
Good video, I was hoping it would be this simple. For the E60 M5 you have to remove the headlight. And for a E90 328/330 I think you have to remove the wheel and tires. So this is good news.
There is a flat section on the heatsink. This flat side should be oriented in the same direction as your OEM connector when placing the led housing into your headlight assembly. If you do that, it will be properly aligned for you to make the 1/4 turn and lock in.
I have a e90 330i and when I put my lux in I had the same problem where the inner ring is brighter than the outer. Kinda annoying but what can ya do really lol
Awesome! Finally someone with the same exact car as me I can watch vids on - can you show how to change the xenon bulb? Mine got foggy and I see traces of water - replacing gasket and ordered new bulb 1 I think I have to remove the tire though as I think it sits behind the the body near the wheel
outer ring is too DIM due to design of the headlight, I went with Oneighty Custom DTM light, they are customized new BMW LED's to my hem headlight! looks awesome
Installed these recently and they look great although the outer rings on mine are less than half as bright than the inner ones. Also the flicker is there on switching off but it doesnr bother me.
hi brandon, ye angel look cool on bmw's. I have a not new e 46 330ci convertible but lowish mileage and would like to do exactly this upgrade, but the lighting system is a little older and different than your M3. Can your Lux guys give me some info? andrew
Here is the link to the E46 lights on their site. Shoot me a DM on instagram and I can try to get a deal for you @BMB_M3 www.luxangeleyes.com/products/e46-angel-eyes
1tokeover only the halos light up, the center of the inside one is another compartment for the light that turns on to illuminate curves and corners, there’s just too much light exposure for the camera making it look like the whole assembly is lit up
Just a heads up, Never touch the glass on the bulb, Beacuse the skin oil from ur fingers Will stay on the glass and it Might get burned and Fuck up the bulb. Tappens to me few Times'.
I got WinPower 40W(x2) for €50 and they are really bright , fade in/out without flicker and already lasted 8 months. Looking at LUX not providing >1yr warranty I think I got a better deal this way, even if mine were to burn out tomorrow. IMO the LUX product line is another example of overmarketed, overpriced and underengineered products . There's just a lot of BS coming out of that company.

Shifted Perspective i can’t get to open the link
When you’re talking about doing a quarter turn how do you do that
199 off the site is what I paid . Tried to contact him via Dm no reply. No problems with delivery.
Hi I will come to you bro I have a BMW 328i cp
yeah this is definitely on my list of mods to do. Just had my first road trip in the M3, myself. The wife and I drove from Toronto to Long Island, NY and back. went to visit my wife's family for a few days. the drive was great, a pleasure more than a burdensome commute.

+Doug Williams thanks for the raving review!
Brandon B installed them today they look great 👍
The 180's was one of the best investments I made for my car. Great look.
Just installed the 180's in my E90 M3 last night. Note that one of the three "locking notches" is smaller than the other two. This one goes in facing up. Took me forever to find that out on the first one I did. Second one went quick. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for all the great vids!
Holy fuck thank you bro, 3y later this helped a ton
Nice man! Much easier access on yours than on my car.
+Justin Buice that's what I was thinking too! M3 so easy to work on! 🤣
What’s the max watts these cars can use for headlight? I want them to be bright as possible
I actually really like the flickering some cars do, it makes it look cooler to me
DusajGQ it's actually the camera that makes it look like that.
Darwin Carbajal Ik that’s with the newer stock angel lights, but if you buy aftermarket angel lights there’s a code in the system that checks the lights when it turns on, which makes them flicker(sorry for the essay of explanation)
@@DusajGQ you can code it out like I did
My 2011 e93 didn't have those it came with the bright whites but I recently swapped them all to leds
Is this for the parking lamp malfunction also? I have a 228i
Just ordered mine thanks to ur ez video and the tips in ur comments from others here. I got the h8 180
I have these on my 335i and they look sooo much better than stock!
Thanks for this video. Which bulb replacement would be appropriate for the 2013 Z4 28i?
so, both lights light up the same after those bulbs?
Great video, quick question I have a 2009 pre LCI and wants to change these bulbs but there are separate bulbs on each side DLR and normal how would this work with this kit or?
Thanks for the video! Do you have to code it after installation?
Are they thr dipped beam aswell ?
Damn we don't get to tease him about he lights anymore, LOL. I am glad you made the upgrade it looks fantastic.
Do you have any problem with the sensor during the instalation?
Hey Brandon, why don't you try those V5 on your car (if possible. I know you are trying to get rid of them!), to see how they look like in comparison? I am still undecided as to which ones to get...
Hea Brandon I just got back from vacation yesterday and was catching up on your videos. Keep up the work the lights look good.
Quick question which way did u turn it left or right?
Wie hast du die Orangene Sidemarker nachgerüstet? Bitte eine kleine Anleitung 🙏🏼
Super Videoanleitung gemacht, danke!
Are they the same for both high beams and low beams?
I put them in but havent been ablento get all 3 clips to lock just the top...any tips? And i turned it to the right to loosen so i have to turn it the same way to tighten?
Its nearly impossible to install whitout touching the glass, nice that it does not do any bad for the bulb. :) It took me about 20-25min struggle to get them in but it is worth it. 😅👍
long overdue! Looks amazing.
Would this work on the 2009 -2011 halogen non xenon headlights? I never got the projectors.
I have a 2011 328 how much money do you want for those bulbs
I have an 2010 335i with xenon lights,is the installation the same as the m3?
Low beam and high beam too right?
Why is no one showing what they done with the resistor ? Also how to you change the temperature?
Hey! Where do you put the resistors (those black addons)?
hitpoint3 you just kinda shove it in to the housing lol
Bump, because the "shove it into the housing" answer worries me a bit hahah
Can these work on the coupe 335i older years
Do you get headlight condensation?
Will they fit my 2009 320i
How do you get the indicator Sid slights on al the time? Or is this an American thing?
Are they too bright to even take pictures with. I still want my halos to show up in pictures. Pls lmk asap .. I know someone selling the 180 for 150$??? Pls lmk
Will these fit my e90 335i 2010 ?
Good video bro, os it 180watt for each one or both on total ?
Are these the lights that go around the lights? They're like 5" rings. I have a 2011 535i xdrive.
yeah they arent the beams, they are the daytime running lights
Thanks Brandon , Great Advice, now I know which bulbs to install on my 335i Coupe
The intensity is perfect, Great Choice! Thumbs Up
Do you still have the VMR V710 wheels? from your old 335i?
I'm picking up my 2009 335i convertible tomorrow and plan to switch the halos. What is the cost to order these through you?
Do the rings ever need to be replaced too as part of this upgrade? And do these work on a 2011 BMW 3 SERIES 2.0 320d EfficientDynamics 4dr ? Thanks
+shuaib masoud keep stock rings and you're good. Should work for your car. Let me know if you're interested!
Yes I am interested. Hit me in the DM! Thanks
What's up with that bonneville?
Can I put something like that on my E60 M5
Do you have a link for those lights?
are headlight assemblies the same on the 335i?
no
Yes they are. At least if you are talking about e92.
Yeah they are for pre lci E92 335i's
Will these fit e92 pre lci?
Hi Brandon, I have an 07' BMW 320d M Sport Coupe. Would these fit on that? They come factory fitted with xenon bulbs I believe, I have yellow daytime running lights but would really like to get a look like yours on it instead.
A. Kay as long as you have the E92/93 then they should fit those headlight assemblies
Any codes appear on your dashboard?
nope!
Do you need any kind of coding in the flm or is this stuff plug n play?
plug and play
Good video, I was hoping it would be this simple. For the E60 M5 you have to remove the headlight. And for a E90 328/330 I think you have to remove the wheel and tires. So this is good news.
That model m3 looks great and doesn't cost too much. Might sell my 328i to get one
Did you have issues with getting the bulbs locked in? I got the bulb in and turned the bulb as much as I could but it would never click/lock - 2012 m3
+@Kopperss they do click but it's not as obvious as with the regular bulb. Takes a few tries
There is a flat section on the heatsink. This flat side should be oriented in the same direction as your OEM connector when placing the led housing into your headlight assembly. If you do that, it will be properly aligned for you to make the 1/4 turn and lock in.
best mod so far!!!
Clean man exactly what I was looking for !
Hi. Do you have any halo lights for my 2012 bmw 740i ?
+Male Capella Unfortunately not, sorry
Do u need to disconnect battery or nah?
I didn’t
@@ShiftedPerspective what about your D1S low beams.
Im sure they were the yellows from stock?
Getting to them can be fiddly aswel aye.
Are those the ones that melt the housing?
nope
When you had 2 bulbs in the box did you use each bulb for each side or both bulb for one side ?
One bulb each side
The Lights look great and thanks for making this review as well
I have a e90 330i and when I put my lux in I had the same problem where the inner ring is brighter than the outer. Kinda annoying but what can ya do really lol
Is yours a Lci or pre-lci? Does this fit good?
How can i get these
most helpful video bro thank you
Installed these recently and they look great although the outer rings on mine are less than half as bright than the inner ones. Also the flicker is there on switching off but it doesnr bother me.
Same here!

Can you confirm that we don’t need to disconnect the battery before we install these?
You don't need to disconnect the battery :)
so much better!
So is this one the same as Angel eyes? I saw Angel eyes are selling on EAS tuning website, but it's always backordered, idk if it's the same or not..
+Joe Liu these are just replacements for the stock angel eyes and they have them in stock. Let me know if you're interested!
Hey Brandon, did you disconnect the battery before doing it or just turn the light to Off instead of Auto ?
no I didn't think that was necessary
Just ordered mine for my E93 M3
Nicer look! Good upgrade.
does this work on a 2011 LCI e92 coupe?
+PatsBimmer LCI have updated headlights on non M3. If M3 then you'll want these
i want to have a RGB H8 led bulbs to switch colours thats why i was asking if there is a H8 on the lci bulbs i would be able to change their colours
Link to those headlights anybody?
Idk I'm afraid it's still too bright. Might as well just use the headlights at this point
1tokeover only the halos light up, the center of the inside one is another compartment for the light that turns on to illuminate curves and corners, there’s just too much light exposure for the camera making it look like the whole assembly is lit up
Its weird coz it's just 1 tube hence brighter closer to the bulb
just bought the lights!
Just ordered a pair after watching this video
So the outter ring is not as bright as the inner ring. Is that common?
Nice view of your hands thanks
Well is better if is bright reason why is because the lower the lighting only one ring will light up
Just a heads up, Never touch the glass on the bulb, Beacuse the skin oil from ur fingers Will stay on the glass and it Might get burned and Fuck up the bulb. Tappens to me few Times'.
Need to code out those corner lights next!
Joe Bonilla why would you do that
I got WinPower 40W(x2) for €50 and they are really bright , fade in/out without flicker and already lasted 8 months.

I agree, I wish I never bought them
Yeah. Love those white lights, always catches when I'm driving. Need to upgrade on lights. Just looks much nicer for the driver & observers.
you shouldve made the review on the on the V5 as well bro! just ordered them, was wondering how color adjusting work.
Anyway, good vid man
That's my dream car haha.. what do you do for a living brother?
next mod would be replacing the BMW badge with the carbon fiber one. gonna look sick af.
No dont
Say the price
Good video you gave the info I wanted👍
Looks very good 👌👌👌🏁🏁🏁🇩🇪💯
I actually prefer the yellow halogen on mine, doh! :/
Sure if you want your BMW to look even older
I agree with Kidda, find the yellow angel eyes more aggresive and yes, less hi-tech/new.
Whats wrong with looking old...
These lights can give error code
I just installed some. The space is tight and a bitch to get in!. But; I finally got them In. 🔥
why are hey so expensive
Good tute
Took me like 10 minutes to get one bulb in that shits tricky
