Hang onto them. Even if you use them for parts someday. I have rescued 3 tractors and 6 garden tractors. If you have the space to store them, they are worth keeping. I spray some oil on bolts, nuts, etc couple of times a year. Block up the tires off the ground. Once there gone, there gone.

For my collection, everything needs to earn it's keep. I like to use antique tractors, but I have a small 2 acre plot- that's it. A Farmall Cub is my choice. I'm now looking for an old Gravely from the late 50s or 60s. Something like that. Get them cleaned up, painted a little, and cranking over just so they spin, they'll move. It might be nice if you suggested a range of field size it would serve for a hobby farmer and the horsepower.

HEY , Ok The most I would pay for a tractor that is a NON RUNNER IF IT IS COMPLETE ? *800 -1500 $ Remember that a hauler will ask 3.00 PER MILE to move it home !🤔 Great video thanks

I've never questioned myself but, my wife has wondered what I was thinking several times lol!
She's always ready to pitch in and get her hands dirty to get whatever I drag home back in shape though!

Reasons for keeping; rarity, condition, simply because you like it and want it. Even when someone says, "I dunno if I would keep it. Too much work". There is someone out there who wants it or just needs it for parts. Kind of hard to go to a Case-IH dealer and get the parts you need for a tractor over 50 years old.

I drug home farm equipment for almost 20 years. I would wreck out things I thought I could use for parts. The restorations are fun but life gets in the way. My go to machine is now a Farmtrac 545 with long agribusiness loader 2004 with 650 hours. I repaired the engine & it's very similar to a Ford 2910 and lots of other Ford/New Holland parts will fit on it. It currently has the starter off an old Ford 3000 I wrecked out on it lol. I use my restored pieces occasionally & take them out to play. But mainly shows and tractor pulls these days.

D I think the word you was looking for is keeper, the owner wasn't a very good keeper of his equipment. We're only on this earth for a short time but I think God want's us to tend to and take care of the material things he has given to us.
D I noticed you used the phrase you Case guys know what I mean when you spoke about the model this tractor. Maybe this could be a way for you to attract the next generation of tractor lovers by quickly explaining what the model number means. Yes I know I could Google it but to me it's more personal when somebody explains it and shares their knowledge. Just trying to help, thanks.

Well at least you got a sense of humor to collect Belarus products, We used to be dealers in the U.K before moving to Canada so know about that fun L.O.L. I still fix some of the very few that are left locally here in Canada. we still own our 920 demonstration tractor and a MTZ 500 pulling tractor with a turbo perk V8 I built from the U.k days and shipped over. I also have a 4wd 1790 with v6 turbo i got cheap from a friend to pull my 10 ton Belarus manure spreader. That combinations a real weapon and will move a lot of manure in a good day for less than 6K i paid for the whole outfit.

@@levimc6783 I'll tell you why your Belarus's are good you've got the older ones. anything made after the last of the 825/5170 type tractors the quality started heading down hill. Thats when we started getting bigger problems with the newer ones like 5270 type models. My friend had a 6 cylinder brand new 140 plus hp when they re launched the MTZ a few years ago, it was absolute garbage. The dealers here in Manitoba had it in their yard more than he did some months. it was gone by 400 hours and he bought new zetors instead. they run rings round that MTZ. he used to run all Belarus at one point and had Valtras between the Belarus and zetor as well until agco messed that up not importing them anymore . Basically I used to see more problems servicing over 100 different tractors than you would with 3 sharing the load most guys owned 1, our biggest U.K customer had 5 and kept them immaculate, they made good money in his retirement sale .

Crazy D Equipment. What would Case 900b with a loader be valued at? It's a hand clutch tractor. A hand clutch and loader seams like an awkward combination.

Craz, you have to ask yourself.....Can this and similar tractors run well enough to compete in today's farm economy including the weekend side gig farm economy? If you don't think it can then send it on it's way to the smelter.
