I've wondered a little about the percentages of old rescued tractors that are not stuck by fuel type (gas, diesel, propane)? Or are there demographic influences like the farmers who bought propane tractors tended to be large farms with a fleet of tractors and dedicated mechanics vs smaller acre farms with a gas or diesel setup and the farmer is the mechanic?

Hey Mr. Crazy D, Out of the blue question, but what size rear tire would you suggest for the DC4? I gotta get a pair, so i started looking at options. Mine has dilapidated 13.6-38 on it. Thanks for any advice!
I would try to stick with the same size you got there 13- 6-38 not too hard to find anymore due to a lot of irrigation system let's started using that size of tire and also some front wheel assist tractors use them
Jinxed yourself by saying you were on a running roll... Try adjusting the regulator before you trash it. Everyone likes to monkey with the big screw thinking more is better. You may be surprised to find a new diaphragm for it since regulator designs haven't changed that much in 70 years. She sounded pretty good though after blowing out the rats nest.

Down here in Oklahoma they would put 3/71 Detroit,and 4/71 Detroit, and friend of mine put 6/71 Detroit to cycle diesel 200+ horsepower

I would add some more fluid 2 it 1ST and see if LP regulator does any better or it needs 2 be rebuilt I don't know what kind it is 😊😊 OMG 8 1O 2O23
