Yeah I love everything about this tractor!! except the stuck pump. Got a couple ideas to throw at it and we'll see what happens. Thanks for the comment!!! John
Hi Dave; Sure is. I have my doubts about some of these things working right but I though for sure the pump was OK. I think this new fuel is terrible.Well too deep to quit now LOL!! Thanks as always!!! John
ive got a video on that same pump if needed. i had the same problem and got it fixed easy. these pumps dont like to sit very long. plungers get stuck. i would install a 12v electric fuel pump to pressurize the pump and hopefully the diesel will lube it up enough to free up. or try starting the engine on wd40, spray it in the intake like either (diesel in a spray bottle works better) and maybe having the engine running will loosen the plungers.. just get new retainers, elmers repair can probably hook you up with parts.
Hi John; I did watch your vid. (new sub too). But by the time I did we already had it all balled up....I have new plungers and barrels coming. Not sure they will fit tho. Thanks for the advice!!! John
@@JohnFrytag thnx for the sub. I've been watching you guys for months haha. But yeah these pumps tend to stick . I'm pretty sure you can get em loose really easy. Case manual recommended fuel treatment. I just.use two stroke oil in the diesel or diesel kleen. Can't wait to see you fire it up. I found out that the piston on my tractor is stuck also. Gonna have to pull it apart like you guys did. Mines stuck in the Bottom position so I'm gonna tap the port like you did and pump it with grease Maybe that'll work. 🤞
When it does start it will smoke like a B 52 bomber, Real torquey engine when they run love em!
