Hi Del- the pipes sure came out great. I sure don’t know how you do it! Fantastic news on the move and upgraded electrical... hope it’s just wheeling stuff down a hallway or similar and doesn’t involve a truck/lorry! Have a great weekend there- (bathroom remodel now done here and on to the laundry room closet shelving!). Hi to Penny! 🏍👍🏍
Hi Gary, Thankfully yes, it is just wheeling stuff next door, but that stuff is all the heavy items, two bike lifts that are 500lbs each, the lathe, press, sand booth, tool boxes and that huge shelving unit... but i have a secret weapon to help us with that, we can;t hire a gang of buddies to help with the current covid rules, but i think we'll be ok and get it all done.. Glad your projects are coming along, it's good to get the home jobs knocked off, then when this is all over we'll have time ot go play on the bikes again.. Take care and enjoy your weekend both.. Penny say's Hi.. D&Pxx
@@Moonfleet41 hi Del- the move sounds like a challenge with those heavy items. (BTW- My mother in law is available for heavy lifting if you have some back straps. Thank you kindly Sir, it's going to be an adventure, we didn't plan to move, it was actually a year last September, can you believe it, but we've got to have the place completely re-wired which would mean a couple of months without a garage, or take the offer of moving in to a new one... it's al little more rent, but it's bigger and everything's new inside, so well worth it... hope you're keeping safe and well there during these difficult times, always good to hear from you, all the very best, D&Px
Awesome job del, sorry for my absence over the last 7 months. After 26 yrs of marriage I'm now going solo. Picked myself back up and see what the rest of my life can achieve. Looking to get a new garage for my bikes and tools. I got a lot of your videos to catch up on 👍🏻
Hey Gary, welcome back brother, and we're so sorry for your trouble, what a difficult time you've had then, on top of a global pandemic that's interrupted just about everything, love your positive attitude, that's what will get us all through it... so keep smiling brother, and more than anything, keep in touch and let us know how you get on, all the best, Del
Very nice mate great job ,good luck with the move will you be taking you hand crafted bespoke custom made one of a kind chipindale inspired benches you made with you to your new venue
I will indeed Sir, but probably in kit form as it was built in place, and the screws holding it to the wall and floor and buried under many pieces of wood and many screws!... but some great new bench cabinets coming from a shop fit to upcycle, and this wood will give the extra wood I need to get it fitted!
I was just wondering about that cordless ratchet. I just bought a cheapo one. After seeing many reviews I discovered not to worry about the Nm as you break the tension as you would with a normal ratchet then spin it out with the motor. If tightening nip it up snug then use your torque. PS will you have to fill all the pin holes for the registration plates.
Hey buddy, we'll be building new benches, this time with cupboards underneath them, we've salvaged some from a shop fit, so we'll be using the wood from the big bad bench as part of the new construction... up-cycling at it's best!
So that's why you skipped over the question when I asked it a few episodes back. Lol. Onwards and upwards mate. Good to see 2021 is starting very positively.
Sorry if it seemed evasive, we didn't wanna jinx anything, and we have so much to deal with as we're also moving Penny out of her high street shop and in to a 'maker space' in the new unit, so it's a three-way move! Lots of plates spinning, so just gotta blow through it!

Cheers buddy, we're hoping for a 10yr lease on this place, we live in an apartment, so will never have the land to build our own place, making this the best option, and it's more rent, yes, but it's a trade off as Penny now gets a 'maker space' for her design business!
@@Moonfleet41 ,, Hey Del,, if it works out,, then no worries.. Just the hassle of packing and the shift to the new spot. Keep up the great work. Cheers 🍻, also. G.
yeah, in the plan.. just not our plan.. we only got a single one year lease here, and it seems that was why.. they always had a long term plan for development of the estate, and as long as we benefit in the right way, im really happy it's happening..
Congratulations for the new garage. Fantastic the headed polish... I'll have to do the same on my bandit... A few days ago a plastic bag stuck over them
Hey buddy, ain't that a nightmare... get in there with the Harpic X10 first, it'll clean the plastic bag off and any of the browning that Bandit pipes suffer from, should leave them a nice grey finish, and make them 10x easier to polish! Good luck...
I find polishing strangely therapeutic & rewarding but I need to up my skills. It would help if I knew the differences between various compounds & mops instead of trying to learn by trial & error (lots of errors!). It would great if you did an idiots guide to this dark but eventually shiny art. Or can you recommend anything on TH-cam?
Your heaters burn those elec wires up?? Wink! Funny I just bought the buffering grinder for $20.. shined u few things in my garage. That’s pretty big compound you got... I got tiny ones! Shine them up!!
Gorgeous mate. If you have time I got 2 questions; 1.What was the finish on your pipes before polishing. I know they were "satin" so my question is satin with what? for example 600 grit sandpaper? OO steel wool? grinding wheel with scotchbrite? 2. What are those three short mystery bolts in the downpipes? Mine have the same- as I reckon all Hinckley triples do- but why'd the factory put them there? I can't see the purpose beyond hooking up some sort of factory tuning machine...makes no sense. Cheers Del
Hi Eric, if you caught the project earlier on, the pipes came in and they were just black and corroded, I intended them for the bin, but on closer inspection they were actually chromed over stainless steel, with no under plating such as nickel r brass, just plan chrome on top of stainless, and the chrome corroded horribly, so I wire brushed it all off with Harpic, cleaned up the stainless with a fine Scotch pad disc , so effectively the answer is, it was nothing more than Scotchbrite to get the satin finish!... but if you want to polish dull exhausts, go with 800, then 1200, then polish from there and you'll get a great finish (oh and use some WD40 as a lubircant whist rubbing down with the paper!).
@@Moonfleet41 Thanks Del, much obliged. The pipes on my Adventurer were pretty dark and devoid of any chrome I knew they were SS when I tried a magnet on them. I hit them with a Scothbrite grinding wheel (red) and they came up a fairly nice silver-ish color w/a rough satin finish. Went over them a 2nd time with the green wheel, which is finer, and was pretty happy with that finish leading into the chrome exhaust. Then you ruined it and polished yours. Now I gotta think this over...:)
@@ericmowrey6872 Seriously mate, if this was going to be my bike, and I was gonna ride it every day, I just know I'd end up cleaning them with a Sctochbrite, trying to polish pipes by hand in situ is just pure torture!... finger stabbing, knuckle scraping horror, so this is as good as they'll probably ever look... hope that helps lol
@@Moonfleet41 I reckon you're right about that mate. Actually the brushed finish I have now looks good enough...might as well leave it. Got lots of other jobs to to do to have it finished for March-April.
@@ericmowrey6872 Exactly that mate, specially with Bandit pipes, they're not great quality stainless and keeping them polished would be impossible... Scotchbrite is your friend!

@@fredriksalmen5159 Yeah, very similar to the Harley, specially viewed with that rear duck tail fender, the biggest inspiration at the moment is the silver, grey and black union flag on the new Trident, that would be a real challenge to pull off, which makes it quite appealing!
@@Moonfleet41 That will look really cool! I think you can do it!
@@fredriksalmen5159 Yes indeed, have done it before, it's a pretty complex process but that makes is all the more fun!
All the best for the new place to you and penny🏍👍
Good luck with the move... literally drooling over those pipes!👍🏼🆒
Thanks buddy for your support, glad to hear you enjoy what we do! 👍
The pipes look great, I'm a shiny chrome lover myself.
Good luck on the move(s). I would help if I could, but I can't, so I won't!
All the best...
Thanks Harold, appreciate the sentiment, but might be expensive for you! Glad you're enjoying the videos, and thanks as ever for your kind support of us 👍
Hi Del- the pipes sure came out great.
You’d just need to feed her a proper English breakfast and just hose her off at the end of the day.). Hope you get to film the move! Stay safe! 😎
@@garya3056 I bet your M-in-L never reads your comments... I know if I wrote that and mine read it, I'd be soooo dead! But thanks for the offer, am quite lucky to have a Penny and with a full English, she's good to go! Just need to fire up her fork lift truck and get her a hard hat... beep, beep, beep...!
@@Moonfleet41 nah, I don’t think she does. She has her own account and her interest lies mostly on how to meet single Peruvian plumbers who like to collect stamps and make their own sausages and also some vintage Benny Hill. So, she stays pretty busy. 😂

excited to see the new garage space.
Good luck with the move Del those headers look amazing you would probably be able to shave in them their that shiny 😀
Thanks buddy, they're not quite chrome perfect, but really happy with the result!
Been a year already? Man does time fly. Looking forward to the new place which is well deserved. Happy New Year to you both!
Nice dell can’t wait till the move
Cheers Stuart, me too!
Nice job! Shiny! Good luck with the move....again 😂😂😎👍🏼
Thanks Ian, lots of plates spinning, but looking forward to a fresh start!
Keep moving on, that bike gets better every time.
Thank you Sir, ong way to go, but enjoying the progress!
good luck with the move guys. lovin the content
Very nice finish on exhaust . looks real good.. 😎
Great job Del😃💪
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely job makes me want to do mine on my veradero. Good luck to you both on the move
Looks gorgeous! Thank you, Sir! :)
Great job, Perfect finish. You’re right about the grinding. Quite liked Stig of the dump.
@@Moonfleet41 looking forward to see it del

Thank you Flavio!
As usual, nice job! Wish you always the best!
Thank you very much Paulo!
Good luck on move
Thank you Kevin!

Thanks buddy..
Great stuff as usual Del, they look great and good luck with the move👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Always wondered how that sort of polishing was done, not sure my dremel will cut the mustard.
Words of wisdom at the end man. Good to hear about the move, well done with that...... now you can find all the bits that you forgot you had 😂. RSMB.
Yeah, and half a dozen 10mm spanners too hopefully..! have a great weekend brother.. kaap safe. D&Pxx
Hi Del, I'm impressed with what you've achieved with the exhaust, but are what are thoughts on the welds rusting?
Just gotta keep knocking it back with elbow grease
Perhaps you didn't watch the actual welding video, they were welded with Stainless steel wire mate, won't rust. ..!
@@Moonfleet41 happy to be corrected!
Like the shiny bits, no exhaust gasket for this system?
Hi Andy, new ones installed back when i painted the front of the motor..
Nice job on the pipes, Del. Say, when you move are you going to be able to bring the bench you built with you? Good luck with everything!
@@Moonfleet41 nah all good bro. I had a notion it was Intentional but not in a bad way. Just keep those plates spinning and best of luck with all moves.
I liked the moving videos...always nice when it is an upgrade! 👍
Thanks buddy👍... keeps us fit that's for sure lol
good luck with the move hope it goes smoothly. DONT DROP THE BIKE LOL
Cheers buddy, appreciate the good advice, never take anything for granted aye... we have a plan for all the lifting... and nope, it ain't Penny!
Good luck with the move matey, great video.

😲 Wow,, 5 moves in 10yrs. I hope its the last until you get your own building🙏. The extra space and updated electric is great.
Same rent??
I'd gladly help out if I were a bit closer 😁.
Good luck 👍.
Eagerly 👀 watching. G.
Cheers buddy, we're hoping for a 10yr lease on this place, we live in an apartment, so will never have the land to build our own place, making this the best option, and it's more rent, yes, but it's a trade off as Penny now gets a 'maker space' for her design business!

Hey Del,, if it works out,, then no worries..
Just the hassle of packing and the shift to the new spot.
Keep up the great work.
Cheers 🍻, also. G.
Nice pipes. Someone's a gluten for punishment but sounds like it was in the plan - onwards and upwards. Good luck 👍
yeah, in the plan.. just not our plan.. we only got a single one year lease here, and it seems that was why.. they always had a long term plan for development of the estate, and as long as we benefit in the right way, im really happy it's happening..
@@Moonfleet41 Hope it goes ok will be keen so see your new place 👍

Superb. Not a fan of this bike but it looks classic and british. I like the new stuff out now better. God bless Dell.. keep up the expanding show.
Thanks 👍
Another Great Video !
Minute 6:13 AHHHH MY EYES MY EYES... I'M BLIND!!!!!
Bling!
Great Video top job Del 👏👏👌🏻😎👍
Thanks mate, much appreciated! 👍
Your heaters burn those elec wires up?? Wink! Funny I just bought the buffering grinder for $20.. shined u few things in my garage. That’s pretty big compound you got... I got tiny ones! Shine them up!!
How time flies !!
Ahhh polishing, let the compound do the work, not the wheel.
The pipes came out great, then comes the heat cycling and some color.
Stig of the Dump - one of my favourite books as a child...😂
Gorgeous mate. If you have time I got 2 questions;
1.What was the finish on your pipes before polishing.
