Xenoblade X needs a port. It might be hard considering it actually makes use of the Wii U’s controller screen but it is a tragedy it is stuck on the system. It should be a Switch 2 title at this point though.
Agreed, and also rumors have begun for Xenoblade X to show up on the Switch 2. The director of X seems to be busy with online capabilities of the new Nintendo console.
Xenoblade chronicles X ended on a cliffhanger so they can easily make something like future connected for the game and maybe if they put more effort into it it could even have something like torna the golden country and future redeemed
Man, I miss my Wii U and 3ds so much I loved playing this game, as well as splatoon, mario maker, zelda, pokemon moon Im getting a 3ds just to replay these games and hopefully a wii u sometime soon Glad to see people still talk about these games :)
Great to hear, the Wii U and 3DS had a lot of great games, even if they were maybe the quirkiest or strangest Nintendo era. I went back and played the Wii U with the pro controller instead of the gamepad and its a totally different experience. It's also an interesting generation because it was sort of in-between a ps3 and ps4 in terms of power, so it was sort of its own tiny generation.
TP, WW, Yoshi's Woolly world can at least be played on other consoles (GC, Wii, & 3DS). I'd say the biggest lost port would be Xenoblade X but there's already rumors that it's going to headline the Switch 2 generation.
It did get a deluxe version - on 3DS. I suspect Nintendo may be saving another release for a rainy day, perhaps to help fill gaps in their calendar when the Switch 2's twilight years come around.

The Switch has seen a lot of Xenoblade support, maybe it'll still happen at some point.

@@Axecon1 Hopefully there's backwards compatibility so that older games that get Switch 2 ports will also come to Switch 1

That's a good point, it's always tougher when a game is truly only on one console.

Nintendoland
I loved that game, however I can see why they didn't port it, no gamepad means no asymmetrical multiplayer :(
