G is just communicating his needs, and you purrfect pawrents are always listening and doing your best to accommodate him as soon as you can. Such lucky cats!!! ❤
Those gorge dorms were never used because they remained neutral and didn’t take sides and were not attacked. However they did prepare to defend themselves which is why the dorms were built.
Regarding Mürren, as a Swiss, it's in the top 5 for breathtaking views. And although it is very touristy, the point is to hike from Mürren, that's where the value is. You quickly lose the hordes of tourists once you start walking above the village. 100% worth it imo.
We visited and stayed in Murren years ago in the month of September. We saw the Base Jumpers, visited the Jungfrau and watched them bring the cows down to the valley. Took a hike and had great milkshakes! Great time to be in Switzerland. It is very expensive though!
Years ago I spent a few days in the Interlaken region. Having seen places like Rio de Janeiro, the mountains and valleys in Lebanon, the Andes, castles in France, etc, I can tell you this: the Lauterbrunnen valley is right up there topping the list of the most beautiful place I've been to date. Very touristy of course, but it's as beautiful as it gets.
Our giant, usually quiet, Chihuahua yells at my husband like a husky when he doesn't immediately give her a treat when we get home from her 1 hour long morning walk. Or of her ramp to the bed is blocked by a blanket, or if her home cooked diner is taking too long. We think humans conquered the earth, but it's dogs and cats that are the most evolved!
"We're working on it" G: Meow (translation: No you're not!) hahahah i love those kitties. These videos have helped me in designing a van built for me and my kitties. Manifesting reaching where you guys have been soon
I am with you guys. Id prefer to be out of the way of tourists. I can see though how you would really need to encounter them some days. See you on the next amazing adventure!!!
Dear Snow and Kurt, Please, please protect ALL your rights to these wonderful, unique and so well photogtaphed vlogs. I lived for 30 years in Germany and NEVER was able to see the places you have shown us. In the early '70s we travelled in our little NSU from Kiel in Scheswig-Holstein, No. Germany, with our tent, down through the Balkans to the tip of the Peloponnes. Believe me, you have a treasure trove of photography and experience for you, and for the rest of us. Only you could have preserved this in 2024! You share it so generously with the world! Thank you! But please protect your rights to this treasure. God bless you!
It is always good to be reminded of the overwhelming tourist onslot on certain locations. We forget because you two show us a beautiful side of touring
WOW, what a well done video. I have just this moment fallen in love with Switzerland, thanks to you two. Breathtaking. I enjoyed this video very much and the scenery was well captured.
I recently returned from a vacation in Europe. I visited England, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Greece. It was my first time visiting Switzerland, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I especially enjoyed Lucerne, and of course, the Swiss Alps. I took a scenic train ride and it was amazing! Enjoy your time in beautiful Switzerland.
Thank you so very much for taking us on your adventures!!! This is such a beautiful country -I love seeing all of these beautiful places!!! Have a wonderful rest of your adventures!!! Can’t wait to see more
Gorgeous scenery and I was noticing the cotton ball clouds in that deep blue sky, so pretty! It is so interesting to see how different life is in other places, and thinking about how their atmosphere affects their perspective of the world and their mental health! Safe travels!💕🇨🇦
How I hated to see today’s adventure end. You have taken me on the most beautiful paths with the most magnificent scenery! Thank you so very much. Can’t wait for the next one!!
Gorgeous is the word,💚, reminds me of home. I'm on the Sunshine Coast British Columbia CA. And it's free to hike everything here so come on over after you're done with Europe you can park your van right here lol 😆
The little towns have lovely architecture and are cute to see, but wow, those mountains, cliffs and waterfalls, with the very green valleys below are just majestic! The hike through the cave like area was very pretty, but with that mist and it being chilly, that would make my knees and back revolt!😂 Hope it wasn't painful for you two!!
The squirrel flyers are so much fun to watch. Again Switzerland doesn’t disappoint in its natural beauty. I understand your disappointment of what you see and what is advertised for the tourist spots. Having grown up with Waterton & Banff National Parks in our backyards in Alberta there is so much more beauty here than what the visitor gets to see. Cheers
Love Interlaken!! Breathtaking 🤩 Chess is big in Switzerland and they have ginormous chess pieces and boards all over Switzerland 🇨🇭The cliff jumpers in that area 🫣
Great timing on your visit up the gondola! Very beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Thank you. I understand about avoiding the places that are too people-y. 😊☺️ G is very vocal about how he thinks his day should be going. That look over his shoulder at you with a mournful "we- oww" was just too cute. 💗💖💞
Snow, I am probably 15 to 20 years older than you and know how disappointing it is when your body seems to forsake you. You are doing wonderfully, but don't push yourself. It is not worth it! Thanks for the great videos!
sat here making very careful notes📝 for our own road trip next year 😅 Some places you've been will definitely be on our list (and some definitely not!!! thank you for the warnings...) but we have a few other places up our sleeves for the Austria/Switzerland tour and the reason for us going will surprise many. But they'll all just have to watch our vlogs too heheheheh thank you so much for all the advice and guidance, and its fab to watch where you're at and what you're doing each episode.
Curt and Snow, the views your sharing are just breathtaking. I'm definitely more a mountian girl than a beach girl, but I love the lakes. As my hubby and I watch I couldn't help to wonder if the people that live in the villages ever tire of the view. For me I would be in aww every day. Thank you for sharing!
Another stunning video by the both of you. Thank you for sharing the walk through the gorge. I never traveled beyond Geneve with my parents when living in Piemonte Italy. ❤ liliana H.
I'm loving your videos -- thank you! Starting to watch older videos too. You may have covered this previously, and if so, let me know which videos to check out, but I'm so curious about how you've trained your cats. How did you train them to walk so nicely and comfortably on a leash? And it looks like you've trained them not to leave the van even when the door or window is open. Would love to know more about this.
Hey -- Your Ep 13 Van Life With Cats popped for me. Perhaps you shared it again. Anyways, thanks, very interesting! One of my two indoor cats is becoming really restless and I think I'm going to try to train him the leash. Thanks for the inspiration.
Curt may not have been impressed with the little village up the mountain, but I know my mom would have totally fallen in love with it. Up here in Wisconsin we have a town that is a coop, and it's built like a little Swiss village called: "New Glarus". My mom and dad used to take extended weekend trips up there to stay at the Chalet hotel and then explore the town. Mom would always get a kick out of the pigmy goats on the thatched roofs. That little village you two explored reminded me a LOT of New Glarus and how my mom would have just fallen in love with it.
My daughter has 4 chatty G kitties...they are a different tempered breed... ❤❤ Such gorgeous countryside and like you guys I much prefer nontouristy places... where ever you take us I am thrilled ❤
You should have gone to the other side of the valley in Wengen and going up to the kleine Scheidegg with the train! You would have enjoyed a view on Mürren and the waterfalls, and a far better view of the Jungfrau massive with the silver horn. Ah well! Another time may be? And yes. we have too many tourists in the last years 😢Greetings from Wengen!
Murren- that is amazing how all the materials got up there to build all we see. I have thought that when I’ve seen spiritual retreat places built On the tops of steep spires of solid rock mountains.
G is just communicating his needs, and you purrfect pawrents are always listening and doing your best to accommodate him as soon as you can. Such lucky cats!!! ❤

Always enjoy your videos , bringing us on your wonderful journey . Thank you two very much so kind . 😊❤
👍🤩💝💡 @ 20:43 Curt had me cracking up….It’s called Wingsuit diving and BASE jumping not a “squirrel suit or squirrel divers”. 😂🤣
Beautiful country.
So glad you got to check out Lauterbrunen Valley. It's so beautiful.
Stunning scenery! I appreciate all the effort you both put into providing exceptional videos twice a week.
Beautiful thank you for sharing your journey in Switzerland. Its expensive but worth it for the accessibility of the mountains and gorges.
Thanks for cuddling with G Money! I love vocal kitties.
"We're working on it" G: Meow (translation: No you're not!) hahahah i love those kitties. These videos have helped me in designing a van built for me and my kitties. Manifesting reaching where you guys have been soon
Prayers for your family in Florida dealing with the hurricane. 🙏🏻
From one Floridian to another.
I'm super happy Curt did not try thr flying squirrel!
beautiful video great scenes but don't blame you forvthe complaint of autos love the flying squirrel comment 👍
I am with you guys. Id prefer to be out of the way of tourists. I can see though how you would really need to encounter them some days. See you on the next amazing adventure!!!
I live about 1h from this place Aareschlucht and I never visited it. Maybe I should go. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing😊

Even the clouds seem more beautiful in Switzerland (I mean, in your last camping spot).🇨🇭 Thanks for sharing. Hugs from the south of Brazil. 🇧🇷

Snow, we still miss the old outro!! We notice every time as we chat along with it 🤣🤣 Our kitty likes it! Please bring it back!
Squirrel diveds... 😂😂😂😂😂😂.... wing suits 😊😊😊😊😊😊 love it

Wow! Always wanted to go to Switzerland. I’m seeing it thru you. Thank you.
Hope you enjoy it!
I am amazed at the cloud formations in Switzerland! Like i've never seen before!
How I hated to see today’s adventure end. You have taken me on the most beautiful paths with the most magnificent scenery! Thank you so very much. Can’t wait for the next one!!
I was there as a teenager and it's just breathtaking.
I’ve been there and it’s as beautiful as Canada, Alaska and Patagonia! It’s a pity that it’s so expensive!
Congrats! From a world traveler and diplomat, you MUST see Lauterbrunnen, and Kleine Scheideg.
OK - Saw that you went through Lauterbrunnen.
Gorgeous is the word,💚, reminds me of home. I'm on the Sunshine Coast British Columbia CA. And it's free to hike everything here so come on over after you're done with Europe you can park your van right here lol 😆

Go to the areas around lake geneva, less touristy and better food in my opinion, and just as beautiful in the mountains!
Love the scenery in Swiss Alps sooo beautiful thank you for sharing these lovely views much appreciated from Northern Ireland ❤️👋
The squirrel flyers are so much fun to watch.

So glad you spent extra time there. It is magnificent in Switzerland. Your video makes me want to go back!!!
Switzerland is gorgeous.❤
Vanna be like, "draw me like one of your French girls" 💅🏼 🔥 😅
This river walk was SPECTACULAR! I'm glad Snow got to enjoy that one 😊
What an amazing walkway! That took some serious engineering 😮
Love Interlaken!! Breathtaking 🤩
Chess is big in Switzerland and they have ginormous chess pieces and boards all over Switzerland 🇨🇭The cliff jumpers in that area 🫣
That gorge is other worldly. Beautiful.
Thx for sharing your beautiful journey. Music as always, .....on point. Stay safe and enjoy❤

👍🤩💝I’ve been to Switzerland many times but not by van. It’s beautiful. I loved watching. Thanks for sharing your journey. Safe travels. 🙏💝
The walkway along the cliff was a great engineering feat.
I wish I could live in Switzerland. Tina Turner lived there.

What a beautiful country. :)
The gorge is really cool. Mother nature is wonderful.❤️ Switzerland is a beautiful valley I wish it wasn’t so expensive. Cheers, 😻 ✌️
I totally agree!
Gorgeous countryside!❤️👏👍. I loved your music 🎶 as it was perfect!
The polite greeting in Switzerland, Austria, and the Lake Constance area is "S-E-R-V-U-S" 🙂
Switzerland is beautiful but expensive. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Would you mind sharing with me the type of camera used to record this video. The quality was great!
Lol! Late into the evening = right as the sun was going down! What time is “really early”?
Sorry, just giving you a hard time! Love your videos!
Yes. It is expensive but you get your money’s worth💕
Did you also visit the Trümmelbach falls in this area? They are very impressive. Anyway, enjoying watching you guys, safe trip!
Hi, love the channel, could you tell us what is your Top 3 most beautiful countries in the world ?
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great advice @crivensro - thank you. Brom & I are touring this time next year in our own van, so we'll take that advice onboard.
Murren- that is amazing how all the materials got up there to build all we see. I have thought that when I’ve seen spiritual retreat places built On the tops of steep spires of solid rock mountains.
This place is just so stunning ❤❤❤
