I came on board just before you came to Europe; the cats caught my attention🐈! Then your amazing openness about the Heart Attack ❤ with your vulnerability and Curts' extrordinary support. And that knee replacement! I will always be inspired! Then your ENTHUSIASM and JOY of your experiences! You wrap that all in your appreciation of people and places and cultures AND NATURE especially. What an example of great partnership complimenting one another. You share so much but keep your boundaries. You KNOW how to do this. I have been scared on the roads you have driven and some hikes and INSPIRED by them and the vistas, the birds the whales and lives of people you have been touched by. Because of all your research and obviously you tallk about the risks, and even though I get nervous, I know you have this down and life does the rest. Your history stories are enlightening and courtesy of being in others' countries genuine and sincere. Your laugh at the waterfalls brought pure joy to me and sitting in the middle of the road giving all the time this animal needed to come to you was a Jane Goodall moment and made my soul sing. Forgive me for writing so much. But I think it needs to be said that I do not care if you mispronounce names because we ALL do and most of us do our best. And I am amazed how you put out 2 videos or more a week so how far ahead or close is irrelevant to me. What a gift they come with their magic, thrills and just quiet moment's with singer/songwriter touches. Of course you have life beyond youtube. And so much you give to us! So if no videos came, I would wait gladly. I will watch the years you have already given. I will delight in the seals, whales and christmas! As a long ago backpacker Curt, information about trails NEVER give the whole truth. It was NEVER my choice to be in some questionable situations! Trail gloves to protect hands grabbing on rocks etc and protect from bites? I am getting your hiking sticks AND always have them, even on short walks Snow. Thanks for the Snow Angels! Love your earrings and miss them and love the hat with ears! You both are a TREASURE to me and youtube should have a special award. You bring LIFE and the BEAUTY of how a couple can bring it together with care and respect for each other and everyone else. Ok. I am caught up and will always be a subscriber. And I believe this comment should carry on without anything else from me. THANK YOU for ALL of this and following your dream while sharing it through all the up and downs that life brings to us.🙏
This could be one of the kindest comments we've ever gotten. You have captured the reason we decided to share our lives perfectly... And we can't thank you enough! We will never be perfect, but we will always be real! Sending much love your way. This comment is truly special ☺️
Well, you certainly captured me in your journeys! And a lot of others! I watch your vlogs on my roku/TV so do not see comments but before bed one night I used my phone and the comment I saw was so surprising to me. I had to express how I am just enraptured by this journey and your special charisma in it. There is a time to give voice! And hope it reminds you on a rainy day that I am INSPIRED! While you were in the Andes i wondered if you had seen the movie KUNDUN about the Dali Lama. It was filmed there because they were not allowed in Tibet. SO BEAUTIFUL. AND there is THE BIG YEAR with Steve Martin about birding. You and the movie go together!.. I should mention to that my dear brother traveled with his wife and their RV full-time around the states for years. He was full of life and lived big with just as much magic and adventure. Out of the blue he got cancer and was gone in 4 months. But he LIVED big and beautiful. Your vlogs make me feel he is still living big and beautiful, as you are😂. It is getting late and time to watch another Snow and Curt. May you be safe, always surrounded by Love and care AND well!! I am right here sending Love to!! And laughing and drinking in the POSITIVE LIFE you give!
My husband was laughing at me cause I was telling Curt it is a DRAGON not a Dinosaur. 😂😂😂😂 I’m glad my big mouth broke through the tv and he head me. 😂😂
A huge Thank You! For taking me places I never knew existed or will see in person!!!! Your videos are so professional and inspiring!!!!! Bless you on your continued journey 🙏🏻💕❤️
Yay you're finally in the UK! I've been waiting and waiting. I lived there for over ten years and can't wait to see if you find some of my old haunts! Enjoy your time there, So beautiful and so amazing around each corner! Cheers!
As much as I’ve enjoyed Switzerland and France, I’m soooo excited about a ground tour of England( and hopefully Ireland and Scotland) . Getting to see the “home country” from my couch in Oklahoma is pure joy. Thank you Snow and curt❤
A myriad of emotions watching this one! The anx. of driving on the left (YIKERS). The ferry was enourmous! Vanna getting fiesty, I wasn't surprised by that. I enjoyed this. Honestly though I'm looking forward to Ireland.
I got to admire your ability to stay healthy with the diagnosis of CHF I don't need to tell you about the prognosis but seeing you able to ride in a van is nothing more than inspirational and I absolutely want to thank God that snow is able to be looking relatively healthy I love you guys thank you for the content🎉
Grateful and Ty for taking me back maybe 65 yrs ago, went left Germany, then Dover thru the English Channel, where the channels was very Very rough! We docked in Liverpool! Then off to NY! ❤❤❤❤❤
🎶 There'll be blue birds over the White Cliffs of Dover🎶 You two and most of your viewers are likely to young to remember that song. Also, a little history on why they drive on the left. Reason being was because back in the day, when knights did battle in the jost they would always ride on the left so they could hold the lance with their right hand and arm to strike their opponent. Also keeping that same right arm free for sword fighting. How exciting!!! I love the history of Europe but especially Great Britain!!! This is gonna be fun!!! I can only imagine how awesome it must be to all the sudden be surrounded by people who speak your language. Although you will note some definite difference in some of the words. This will be so fun!!!👏👏👏🥂
I am so happy that Wanda made reference to the, for our generation, well-known, wartime song "The White Cliffs of Dover'" The song expresses the hope, the certainty, that peace will come to G.B. "There'll be blue birds over - the White Cliffs of Dover, Just you wait and see..." Please google the song. The melody will take you back there with even more meaning. I am looking forward to Ireland, too! My Mother was born in Roscommon and the family and land are still there. I visited by myself in 1994 and understand full well the challenge of driving on the "wrong" side of the road. God bless you and keep you, Snow and Kurt!
I’m sorry, I’m going to have to correct you on the jousting thing because you’re giving false info. The knights do not “ride on the left”, but on the right when tilting at the joust, and the lance lays from the right across the horse’s back (but not on it) pointing left. Driving on the left originally stems from the Romans so has a long history and there’s plenty of info about it online, including videos of jousting here on TH-cam. Plus riding in the left would ensure that you could draw your sword towards attackers. You were right in spirit but not in fact, unfortunately👍🏻
Your comment about hearing English for the first time in a while rang a bell. I felt overjoyed when coming back from Europe to hear English - in of all places the airport's bathroom! Of course no one was speaking English to me but I simply had to wait till they finished and exited to say Hello! and ask where they were from. My home state! Curt's right. Life is good!
Fish& Chips with mushy peas - brings back memories of my stay in London with an old school friend along with English humour is what I love about England ❤
Calais is pronounced Callay.....guessing you would know that now since you were there in July (Bastille Day). I loved your trip thru Switzerland so looking forward to you travelling thru the UK. I know it's weird for you driving on the Left side of the road, but being an Aussie, I always find it strange watching people driving on the 'wrong' side of the road for me. It's all relative. Love your Mushy peas! If you get to Australia, you have to have a pie and peas with Worcestershire Sauce. Excellent.
Beautiful scenery thank you for bringing us along. Praying for traveling mercy and God's Shield 🛡 of protection over the both of you and your kitties in Jesus Name. 🙏♥️
My son and his girlfriend took me on my first ever trip to Europe last November. We started in England; he did all the driving, and rented all manual transmissions. No problem other than the first attempt driving out of London, he clipped the driver's side mirror on a garbage bin and ripped the cover off. Roads in England and Ireland other than highways are VERY narrow.
What a smooth Border crossing you had. France is very beautiful. I am French although I live in Germany but I like those villages in France. It was surely somewhat nice to now have the possibly to comunicate without problem. Cheers💕
Ireland was my very favorite country when I visited all of the European countries. The people are fun there it's a beautiful place it does rain a lot but the people just make it worth it. It has so much Beauty. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Hi guys....🤗 You guys are professional travelers. So good at navigating all your travels so well. Beautiful places too Thank you for taking us with you in these videos . Amazing job you do. Have a very safe and blessed day.☺️ Look forward to what's in next .
I’ve been waiting for you guys to get to England. I’m so excited you’re there. I grew up in England for 10 years as a child till I was a teenager. My grandparents lived near Brighton while we lived just outside of London. Love the show and will continue to watching! Much love and safe travels!
I teared up when Snow said it’s been years since she was in a place where English was the native language. I can relate to that feeling of…. whatever that feeling is called. Pretty cool experience. Excited for this leg of the journey. Interesting that you are 2.5 months lagging in posting your vids. Hope everything is ok. I can see the white cliffs of Dover from my house! 😅. Beautiful.
Been to the UK a few times, once as a teenager, once later in life; more recently. I only had one instance of driving on the wrong side and that was after a 3 point turn on a country road in Ireland. But yes, as a driver, you are always focusing on staying on the left side. Both times were in rental cars so I had that in my favor, but I was always walking up to the wrong side of the car. Enjoy the journey as we are enjoying it with you. Take care. Matt and Sandy Friel. Also, Sandy is GoodbyeRubyT on TH-cam. We're also happy to support your journey. Cover a little of the gas money at least.
I have only been overseas to England and Scotland. Twice, for 4 weeks each time. Can’t wait to watch this series. Hoping your family is all safe from the hurricane!
Oh, how I love watching you guys and all of your adventures! I am so thrilled you showed the White Cliffs of Dover! I am so excited I will get to see Ireland, it is where my family hails from. This is going to be the ones I watch 2 or 5 times. Thanks guys, you are so appreciated. Safe travels. ☮&❤ Pam.
I watch a lot of TH-cam videos. Of people who live in other countries. Those who gather things from the beach shore, are called, mudlark. They collect shells, sea glass, rocks and other things. That wash up on the beach shore. They find a lot of very interesting things on the beach. Some make beautiful jewelry with what they find. Like always, God be with you on your adventure.
Must feel like a homecoming of sorts to be up in the UK and speaking English all around. There’s so much to see there, could definitely find more than enough content to fill 90 days there…. Looking forward to each episode. This was interesting about the Ferry and the Schengen
When we did a USO show at VFW (Sebastian, Fla) I sang Vera Lynn's "White Cliffs Of Dover" and actually seeing them as you did, brought tears to my eyes. I've been travelling with you. Thank you both, also, your kitties.
It is so awesome that you have been steadily moving for 5 years and there are so many new experiences left to be had! I think travel is priceless and changes one’s perspective on the world, I am so grateful for your inspiring videos, your generosity in sharing your knowledge as you learn yourselves and for always putting the best light on everywhere you go! Safe travels!💕🇨🇦
Sad news, a severe hurricane barreled through Florida this past week. 😢please, you may want to call home. The Carolinas got hit hard too as well as Georgia, and parts of Tennessee. Today’s hurricane foray (10/1) hit Mexico. 🇲🇽 As usual California is on fire 🔥 again. Curt! Stay away from the edge of that cliff…yikes! Hello Vanna. You think you’re so tuff😊. Little cutie! Ireland is beautiful… Snow, you’ll fall in love with Ireland. 🇮🇪 Many blessings to you both. Take care.
Love the Views of the White Cliffs of Dover. Because we have been there visiting our daughter 10 yrs ago while she was working in England for her company. THANK YOU for the memory. Love watching your adventures. So professional seems you could have your own public television show about travelling the world.
I loved the videos of Switzerland. But I’m so excited to travel with you in England, I can hardly contain myself! It’s “kal-lay.” That was a dragon not a dinosaur. And please, please stay away from the edge of the cliffs. The fences are there for a reason. ❤🎉
Can't wait for you to come to the UK. Hope you're not disappointed - there are many beautiful places here but im not sure they can compare with some of the amazing places you have visited so far on your travels. Xx
As a nurse and someone who also has a heart issue, I would like to caution you as you two go forward, ok? Snow! Please slow down! Curt! Please make Snow slow down!!
Welcome to England Snow and Curt. Hope you enjoy our beautiful countryside and get to see some of our amazing cities and towns especially Bath, York and Stratford upon Avon. I will be with you all the way 😊😊 Watch the roads, some are not so smooth as those in the USA😮
Those sheds at the beach are known as beach huts in the UK and can cost around £30,000! Welcome to UK. Cotswolds very pretty as is the West Country. Lake District and Peak District stunning. Wales, Ireland and Scotland are show stoppers. Have fun.
Hari OM Made it! Curt - it's pronounced Kaa-lay... swapping driving sides is always a challenge. The greater risk comes when one becomes adapted and relaxes... and one relapses! Onward!!! YAM xx
I was getting the heebee jeebees too Curt!! Excited for this leg of the trip! You should see f you can connect with the Travel Beans - they’ve been to the U.S.- and are from the UK. They travel like you do too!
My Dad used to talk about the WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER. They are stunning. Ppl seem really nice and Curts fish and chips looked awesome. Vanna is all kitty cat! Lol. Love her. Thanks for bringing me along. Sooo far, the UK is beautiful. ❤
Welcome to England, you might get used to the rubbish weather (or not!) I live up in Newcastle Upon Tyne (North East) and I have never got used to the weather 😢
We have a joke in Austria. It goes like this: " A man wins the lottery in Austria and he gets 7 million Euros. He goes to a bank in switzerland and asks them if he can deposit it there. They answer - yes, of course, we take poor people too. " Britain will be great to see in the videos, because your skills have become excelent now.
Oh My Goodness! What a quick sprint to the border! It seems like you just got back to the ShinGen! Loved the cliffs of Dover, that HUGE ferry!! I can only imagine the giddy overload of being able to understand all of the many conversations around you. I'll bet that was amazing. Hope all of your friends and family are safe from Hurricane Hellene. Luv U Guys ❤
Looking forward to UK! And I was anxiously watching the road as Curt was acclimating to "wrong side" driving - makes me nervous, I would forget! And Curt - I was talking to my screen, "Noooooo! step back, step back!" when you were getting close to the edge of the White Cliffs of Dover. My tummy was bottoming out! Thanks for taking us along, and I was pointing Vanna out to my kitty, she watches with me sometimes.
What a great video. Sensory overload for you finally being in a place where you can understand a conversations, but then having to drive on the wrong side of the road.🤣 Curt just because they’re there doesn’t mean you have to walk right up to the cliffs edge. I think you’re trying to scare me to death. 😂 Stay safe
Been following you for about 4 years, it’s weird to think you’re in my home country of England. Hope your journey round it has gone well, looking forward to seeing what you’ve got up to. 😊
The "wierd thing" you passed through at minute 12:00 was Xray, radiation and pathogen screening, hence no personnel. From 14 July to 28 September (when you posted this) is quite a stretch, so you will have seen by now how important the brown signposts are in Britain, indicating historical landmarks - of which there are SO MANY.
Loved the White Cliffs of Dover! So excited to see where you will be travelling in the UK. And yes, it must be quite the experience to hear English spoken everywhere after such a long time. 😻
Always love your vlogs... fiesty kitty scores a whap on the nose lolol.... because you have been out of english speaking countries for sometime i cant imagine how strange it must have been!!!
Do visit the city of Chester. You can walk the top of its old Roman walls, and there is a lot you can do and see in three or four days. The history in Chester is fabulous. Every bit as good as London but far more manageable.
England is my home country. Can’t wait for you to mangle all the tricky pronunciations, it’s half the fun!! That said, I haven’t been back from the US since Covid so expecting to get emotional about what I’m missing, and definitely going to enjoy your selected route. I have close family in York and Harrogate, which is a pretty interesting part of the world. I’m sorry if you find that everything is very expensive!
Been popping in to your channel for some months. Just want to say thank you for the adventures. Also, I anm really enjoying watching you Traverse England on the wrong side of the road, and managing those tight squeezes. I am considering a trip similar but I am an older woman by myself and wondering could I handle it. So far so good!❤
Enjoy your fast trip through France. Hope you will see more of it on your way back in a few weeks ( mid October maybe ) as you will need to get back out and south for the winter months. Always have my breakfast with you and the kitties, ❤🐈🐈⬛🚘 keep safe. Liliana H.
Good job on the left side of the road. At least the language is familiar. The fish and chips look good. Make sure you try Pasties and Bangers and Mash while you are there.
Welcome to England guys you must visit York it is full of history and all little shops. Hope you enjoy yourselves here all my love to both of you Heather ❤❤
Speak for youself. I've always mushed my peas since I was a kid. Notice how many different accents there are in the UK! I've been waiting for this part of your journey because my family has British, Scotish, Irish roots and have always been drawn to everything British my whole life. I can't wait to see these videos!

👍🤩💝Loved Switzerland. Awesome video. You guys are off to a great start. I’m with Curt about those cliffs.
😱 @ 31:21 Vanna! 😞
Love love love this video. Whoa at the Dover Cliffs. Beautiful!! Glad you’re eating the traditional foods. Looking forward to the next video.

Take care.
🎉 so excited for you to be in Proper English speaking country.
Love the Views of the White Cliffs of Dover. Because we have been there visiting our daughter 10 yrs ago while she was working in England for her company. THANK YOU for the memory. Love watching your adventures. So professional seems you could have your own public television show about travelling the world.
I found myself to be nervous as you drove on the wrong side of the road! Ha ha
Bastile Day is like our 4th of July. You picked a great spot to experience it. I didn’t realize we are watching with a 10 wk delay.
I loved the videos of Switzerland. But I’m so excited to travel with you in England, I can hardly contain myself! It’s “kal-lay.” That was a dragon not a dinosaur. And please, please stay away from the edge of the cliffs. The fences are there for a reason. ❤🎉
Good film of the White Cliffs!
Can't wait for you to come to the UK. Hope you're not disappointed - there are many beautiful places here but im not sure they can compare with some of the amazing places you have visited so far on your travels. Xx
What a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing.😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Have fun.

Made it!
FUN!!!!!!!!!!!
I am British living in Spain and i am so looking forward to your trip through th UK
Thank you. Enjoy GB.
Welcome to England, you might get used to the rubbish weather (or not!) I live up in Newcastle Upon Tyne (North East) and I have never got used to the weather 😢
Just pausing to say that ferry is amazing! 😅
You need to get a proper take away fish and chips from a fish and chip shop! Preferably on the seaside :).
I love following you two...
Spunky Vanna!! You go girl!!
She gets it from her human momma 😂
@@SnowAndCurt She really does. You are amazing, Snow!
😂 Stay safe
Wow. Hard to believe we are only seeing you in July.
The fish and chips looked delicious. Another leg of the journey that I'm looking forward to.
Been following you for about 4 years, it’s weird to think you’re in my home country of England. Hope your journey round it has gone well, looking forward to seeing what you’ve got up to. 😊
Its so enjoyable watching you guys try on the other side of the road hahaha
The "wierd thing" you passed through at minute 12:00 was Xray, radiation and pathogen screening, hence no personnel.
From 14 July to 28 September (when you posted this) is quite a stretch, so you will have seen by now how important the brown signposts are in Britain, indicating historical landmarks - of which there are SO MANY.
Wow, interesting! I am sure these high tech detection devices are necessary to attempt to curtail smuggling of every sort.
La France est le plus beau pays du monde and the UK is next. I look forward to your travels through history and time!
WELCOME TO THE UK ❤❤❤
Loved the White Cliffs of Dover! So excited to see where you will be travelling in the UK. And yes, it must be quite the experience to hear English spoken everywhere after such a long time. 😻
Can't wait to watch your series thru the UK
That dragon was soooo awesome!!!!!! Beach looks so relaxing too! Awesome video. Me and my van dream of such adventures! 💪🏻🍻🤘🏻💨
Come see us in Helensburgh Scotland, nobody knows about it, because everyone goes to Loch Lomond over the hill.
Lovely 😊
England is my home country. Can’t wait for you to mangle all the tricky pronunciations, it’s half the fun!! That said, I haven’t been back from the US since Covid so expecting to get emotional about what I’m missing, and definitely going to enjoy your selected route. I have close family in York and Harrogate, which is a pretty interesting part of the world. I’m sorry if you find that everything is very expensive!
Welcome to England. Hope to get to see you somewhere 👍
I just love how you "walk" the cats, wish mine would be so happy on a leash...
I always chant "KEEP LEFT" especially when you make a turn, my subconscious would somestimes revert to the right. keep left, keep left, keep left.
Welcome to the uk xxx lots of love Jolene and mark
Wow! I too got the heeby geebies!!
Oooo Belgium chocolates from the Calais duty free shop! Yumm. You did great driving on the Left!
Welcome to the UK 🎉🎉🎉
Welcome to the UK! I hope you enjoy your time here and manage to visit my home county of North Yorkshire!!!
Been popping in to your channel for some months. Just want to say thank you for the adventures. Also, I anm really enjoying watching you Traverse England on the wrong side of the road, and managing those tight squeezes. I am considering a trip similar but I am an older woman by myself and wondering could I handle it. So far so good!❤
Thanks for sharing this beautiful country! 👍✅
Cal lay. Is so beautiful
The beach houses are a great idea
Thanks!
You are awesome 😎 thank you so much for the support
Welcome to our country Snow and Curt. If you ever stuck in our home county of DORSET or need help and advise, let us know.
Safe travels.❤
Enjoy your fast trip through France. Hope you will see more of it on your way back in a few weeks ( mid October maybe ) as you will need to get back out and south for the winter months. Always have my breakfast with you and the kitties, ❤🐈🐈⬛🚘 keep safe. Liliana H.
Good job on the left side of the road. At least the language is familiar. The fish and chips look good. Make sure you try Pasties and Bangers and Mash while you are there.

Speak for youself. I've always mushed my peas since I was a kid. Notice how many different accents there are in the UK! I've been waiting for this part of your journey because my family has British, Scotish, Irish roots and have always been drawn to everything British my whole life. I can't wait to see these videos!
