Bees in a Woodland Clearing

An immersive recording of a bee colony at work while in Sequoia NF last month. I’m really happy with the foreground detail in this, and the birdsong in the middle- and backgrounds gives a nice sense of scale when listening back in headphones 🎧
Recorded with Bishop, my DIY binaural head, while in the field for UW-Madison this summer. Bishop was equipped with LOM Usi Pros, recording into a Zoom F3 recorder.
