Learn to make small adjustments(like backing up and aligning the front wheels parallel to parking lines if the front wheels are not parallel to parking spot during first approach). There are some assumptions in this video, the cars already parked are parked in centre of parking spot(which you will not see often in busy parking lot esp apartment complex).secondly, the width of the parking spot is very large compared to car(small width will cause trouble for you to exit the car, or drivers/passengers to enter cars parked on eitherside), thirdly the length of cars already parked in parking spot(large trucks extended out slightly on the road, this will impact the timing of turning during intital approach to parking spot) fourthly, the distance between the opposite parking spots(important if there is good room to make adjustments without hitting car behind you). For those people that have fear to drive and preventing to start learning, here is a consolation and encouragement: I saw some videos where a driving school was showing 62, 70 years old ladies starting learning first time. The videos show the ladies learning. And the instructor is fabulous, spetacular. And the instructor makes cute and funny approach to the student either young or any age. He says like that: "use your little princess foot, light, gentle and slow." when using the gas, the clutch, etc if manual car. These 62, 70 years old ladies were learning in a manual car shift stick. One of the best tips to add to this is if the space between the rows are narrow, drive a bit further before turning so you can "slide" in easier. If you don't pull a bit further ahead, you won't get the arch needed and you will be doing backing and driving forward a couple of times.

Great! Thank you for video, I will take my driving test soon, hope I will pass.
Thankyou, I like the way you stick to the facts. Not too much blah blah blah
I really hope this vid will work out whenever I'm looking for a place to park. Though I have one question:
Thank you so much for your information. My daughter just did her first perfect park by your explanation. I wish you a beautiful life ❤
Your explanation and actual is VERY clear...NO ALOT OF INGREDIENTS
This is super helpful. What would say a reference point for bscking into a stall would be for a Van?
The problem is where i park at my complex the spots are really tight and its very tight to park in them. There isnt alot of room at all to give yourself space aswell, i find myself going in backing up alot before going all the way
thank you , you helped me alot
Hi for SUV or other big cars do we still use side mirror as gauge? Thanks!
