Urban Paradise

The video tells of the performance event that Marta Malsegna organised in December 2022 at the Casale Garibaldi, a cultural and social centre in Rome. It was an immersive event that crossed several dimensions, which saw the collaboration of other creative people, the involvement of children with visual workshops and the spoken poetry performance by Viola Margaglio on the theme of the human being torn between nature and artifice.
The heart of the event was the participatory immersive performance, a dynamic meditation practice to emotionally connect people to the environmental theme. Walking through the symbol of the Third Paradise recreated with dried leaves, actively listening and observing the natural surroundings, people were involved in the co-construction of possible sustainable scenarios.
