My notorious V5 had very very little fluid in the diffs lol Great idea to open them and fill them up fully. Mine was also shimmed perfectly, thank god haha
I'd like to get a wheelie bar that is much lower. I want to prevent wheelies and just keep things more stable. I have a custom Traxxas Stampeded VXL, with full aluminum extended body etc, damn thing will do 65mph, but it's just out of control and have to fix it every time i take it out. I just bought this Kraton 6S V5 because I want something that's actually somewhat in control, lol.

That's a tough one...honestly, I would just buy the V5 and save the $$. I've heard people having diff issues, even with the EXB, so if you aren't bashing hard, I would save the cash.
I used the esc from spectrum but when I did the 58.4 I had my hobbywing motor in going to try it again today if it's not raining just want to confirm it but was hitting 55plus Everytime . Then a 16t and a 20t with my 2-ho tires I use on my kiaju and Maxx for speed runs really like those no pizza cutting

what batteires are you using? i was looking at some for mine they are the 3s 50c spektrum battereis and the sereil number is SPMX50003S50H5 is that the same as you are using? becasue i was looking at the dimensoions and it looked like 2 of them wouldnt fit thanks
I am using the exact same batteries (5000mah). Yes, those 2 will fit the battery tray perfectly, there are a few straps and a battery holder on the end that is plastic, and adjustable. It is a 6s system, so you can run a 6s or two 3s, either way is fine, just have to remove the jumper lead if you decide to run 6s vs two 3s.
I ddont get it... the 6s cars should be way faster than the 8s behemoths... My 8s Xmaxx does 50mph easy and I was considering a 6s arma just for outright speed... very disappointing ;p you sure you arnt missing a high speed pinion or something?
I never put in the high speed pinion that it comes with, which would definitely add 10mph or so. I wonder if it's the metal chassis vs plastic xmaxx chassis? Either that or gearing must be the reason for the slower speeds. Weight is huge when it comes to speed, although power is important too.
It means putting tiny washers in between the gears and the housing to tighten everything up so that you don't slip or strip your differential gears. Mine didn't need it out of the box, but apparently, some do.

I haven't tested it...but I think it adds around 10% to the top end.

They have been doing fairly well for the amount of hard bashing I do with them. I use the Spektrum dual charger (2100).
I’ve been debating getting the powerstage 6s bundle. Is there any other battery and charger combos you recommended for the kraton 6s?

Well I finally got my set up closer hit 61.6 or 62 but I will go with 61.6 happy kraton owner I could get more but it's not easy with stock tire
