Thank you for sharing your cobblestone layout. I bought a downlaod from Etsy last year but it was only for one use. This is way better and has so many options.

It's looking really good Thea. I love the houses. What collection is that from? Lemax?

Actually I have a little bit of everything. A few Lemax, but I like dept. 56 better. Hawthorne Village, Dickens and even some buildings purchased in Europe. I am always on the lookout for interesting buildings. One day I hope to make my own. 😃

Love your cobblestones how do you get the glue off your lantern at the end of the season I keep my lantern in ziplock bags snack size holds one whole set and they don’t get tangled all my extra electrical lights, battery replacement power packs have their own zip lock bags keeps them all neat and tidy and the don’t get tangled or brocken

Hello Elizabeth! Because I use the hot glue gun on the bottoms of the lanterns, by the time I go to dismantle the village, the glue has hardened and it's quite easy to pick the glue off the bottom. For those stubborn glue globs, I have used pure acetone before, but dislike the smell, and it's not that environmentally friendly. There's also a product called "Glue Gone" which I have used with less success. Good storage idea, I'm going to have to take that extra step of using lunch baggies. I usually just wrap them all up with their own cords and store them that way, but your idea sounds much smarter. Thank you.

Wow Thea, great tutorial! Coming along nicely. Just wondering what brand you used for the 6 lantern set…

The set I showed was branded "for Living", a brand owned by Canadian Tire. Don't know if these are available outside Canada. www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/for-living-christmas-decoration-village-lamppost-accessory-set-6-pk-1519017p.html
Or you could check out the Lemax website, or Amazon.
