- In this video we begin to prepare our MK4 Golf GTi Anniversary for it's big transformation into a show car. We start by removing the wheels and giving the entire car a deep clean to remove all the grime to make the prep for paint that little bit easier. The goal is to have the car finished in time for Waxstock so we can have the vehicle there with us on our trade stand. Keep you eyes peeled for the next episode where we dive even further into this MK4 Anniversary.

Brilliant, I own a 2001 mk4 golf gti myself. Owned it for 18years, oem + modified, its definitely my pride and joy. Being showing it recently at ultimate dubs & tatton Park vw show.

Hey guys! Could you tell me the wheels and tire size please? I have the same golf and i would like to have the same wheel fitment as yours! Thank you
Anni wheels were a special size, 18x7.5J ET38. They were normally 8J direct from BBS. OEM tyre size was 225/40.
It would take only a minute to remove the 3 screws and clean beneath the wheel arches at the front. The car would be more grateful than for all the rest....

Never in a million years will I umderstand these people that out those covers over the headlights to change the look. Its just so ugly....btw where are even the original headlights?
next question is where are the original sideskirts? the ones on the car are r32 sideskirts, the original look a bit different
