The Best Side by Side for your Homestead

If you're considering getting a side by side to work for you on your ranch farm or homestead its hard to beat the Mule Pro fxt. Not the fastest, but definitely the right tool for the job. I look at any piece of equipment with the eye of usability for dollars spent. This little rig hasn't let me down, and I am a strong advocate of it because of straightforward approach to the job. If you need to tow or haul around the farm this is the one. Quiet and easy to use.
Why didn't I buy a diesel? Most of the trips are quick from point to point, and i feel that this kind of on and off use would be bad for a diesel. Also the cost to me wasn't worth it. I looked at diesel options and other side by sides like Polaris Ranger, John Deere, Kubota and Honda and I kept coming back to the simple workhorse. Don't agree? Let me know in the comments.

I bought the fxr in 2020 and it has 8517 miles on it with no problems. And I use it for everything from work to play and hunting. Dang good critter. Oh it still has the og belt and all. The tires are on too.

Looks like a useful piece of equipment. How much does the base model of that typically run?

We talked them down to 13k on this one. At the time they were hard to find because of production backlogs

Excellent review. Is this the 3 cylinder model? Also I wonder if they have turn signal kits. These things are now street legal in the rural areas where I live, and I could haul trash to the dump in that big bed. Also I noticed that Kawasaki seems to have longer warranties, I think it's 3 years?

I believe it’s the 3 cylinder. I’d have to look again to be sure. I am not sure if they make turn signals. I added a slow moving vehicle reflective triangle and take it on the road occasionally.
