I'm immensely impressed. That second to last look's silhouette made my jaw drop off of my face. Absolutely adore the wooden jewelry/accessories, and the styling element of the body paint was a masterful touch. Brava!
Absolutely ravishing. Sumptuous and, an interesting aspect. You can easily see how each of these stunning works of art can be translated, adapted to wearable clothes. Not something I’ve not seen in other “extravaganzas”.

If you're wondering; these are showcase items. A display of skill and artistry, not clothing. Maybe a pop star will wear something like this in a music video, but it's not really for sale. Like when Mercedes showcases a concept car.
Drop dead.. spectacular... gorgeous outrageous creations. The models wow....wow. the designer chose textiles fabrics along with applicays. That were innovative . this was a show extraudinare Bravo bravo.. 👏👏👏👏
I agree with you. the old collections were very surreal and experimental. The new collections are also surreal and experimental and very Schiaparelli but for a new generation.
Daniel Roseberry now wears the Crown of Greatest Living Designer. He has distilled everything that made Charles James and Ralph Rucci magnificent, and taken it to the next level of extraordinary. I LOVE Schiaparelli shows!

Schiaparelli was always about maximum surrealism, and Roseberry combines the most fantastic ideas with phenomenal tailoring, which does indeed remind me of both James and Rucci. Wouldn't it be wild to see what sort of functions these creations are worn at?
Wow! Every piece in this collection is truly a work of art. Ms Schiaparelli was known as a Surrealist in her time, and she was friends with many of the Surrealist artists including Magritte and Duchamp. I understand from watching a Vogue interview with Daniel Roseberry that he references many artists in his collections. He has channeled the essence of the brand and yet made it his own. I also see the influence of his tenure with Thom Browne. In this position, Roseberry has really come into his own as a designer and each collection improves upon the last one.
When creative persons took insporations from outside - including nature - and internalize what those means into their creation, these are the results. Many creative figures - including Schiaparelli themselves last year - project their inspirations into their work without internalizing. This collection this year is pure creative work. Genious.
It’s so good to see the heritage of Schiaparelli being transformed still keeping to the design aesthetics where it originates. Always fresh and unique! In my mind they win hands down at Couture and Chanel should start taking notes as their designs are not inspiring anymore.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing real models walking! It’s so wonderfully beautiful to see these women of unique stature. There’s a reason that there is only a handful of women who look like this on the planet! They’re models! They add to the allure and draw of fashion. I wish old dame winters would put models back on the cover. What a fantastic show. However, I’ve never liked FF for the cameras jumping everywhere. We want to see the clothes! We’re not here to watch creative cinematography- we want to see the clothes! Close-ups are great, but we want a perfect look at the front, sides and back of the whole garment. I hate the from-the-ceiling shot! Who cares about the top of her head!! This was a fantabulous show. BRAVISSIMO 🎉

Some lovely ideas and exquisite execution although as a whole a bit scattered maybe, it didn't quite hang together somehow, some big element missing. I thought the huge coats were like ones in the early Galliano CD show where he had the martial artists on the runway. You have to admire the work and craftsmanship, completely brilliant.

I know that the boldest pieces are art and not really meant for wearing, but if I was uber rich...I'd be wearing some of those pieces just for fun. Breathtaking❤.
OK so this Fashion is the idea of " OK let's take different pieces of fashion styles and jam them together. While contstructing the outfits out of big stiff fabric.. This does not project Haute Couture it just projects laziness.

I think greatest living designer is Iris Van Herpen. She's way more of a visionary than Roseberry.
