Another spectacular show from Daniel Roseberry. How he perfectly combines elegance and refinement with batshit crazy imagination is beyond me. I look forward to Schiaparelli every season to see beauty, wit, and the excitement of seeing something I have never seen before. I loved the hats, especially those that look like they are levitating above the models. I loved how at 4:20 the divine Maria Carla almost tripped, but managed to break free from the elaborate gown. That is the stuff of haute couture dreams!

This is a Couture show! The purpose of a Couture collection is to show off the artistry and technical skills of the Atelier ( the workshop of highly skilled artisans that craft these clothes)! It’s not focused on wearability as much as showing the potential buyers (a rare following of very few private clientele that can afford one-of-kind creations), new ideas, impeccable workmanship and flawless quality. Please keep this in mind when viewing a Couture show!
These clothes are exclusive, and made for the very rich and wealthy collectors that can afford their prohibitively astronomical prices. Couture collections represent the very highest standards of inspiration, conception, and execution! They literally are wearable works of art!
That being said I believe Daniel to be wildly talented, and quickly rising to great heights as a masterful couturier!
Randolph Duke now let me get this straight, you believe other viewers to be uneducated people that if they do not agree that this is the most marvelous collection they must not understand fashion. Well, although I am just one of the poor masses that could not afford these works of art and inventive craft I know what I like and do not like. Some of these pieces are great and although I can, in my uneducated ignorance, appreciate the talent and art of this show, I was not crazy about it. Next time you feel the need to educate, try not acting so damn superior.
This is a very narrow definition of couture. This idea that couture has to be art is simply not correct. There are many more ultra wealthy people who want to actually wear their 100k jackets on a day to day basis and that’s where the ‘boring’ chanel and dior HC designs comes in - they are wearable

An absolutely stunning collection - but also, the music in the background is incredibly well selected for this show. Gives off this femme fatale aura and oozes of mystery. I loved it!

I loved how they walked slowly enough for you to actually see the garments. Most shows now have the models stomping down the runway as fast as humanity possible. You have to slow down the video to see the clothes.
I kept thinking "Breakfast At Tiffany's" while watching this. Love, love, love the sophistication, classy elegance. You don't see this everyday! Beautiful!
Yawned through 4 shows before watching this one but now I am more than wide awake. Now this is what it's all about!! Elegance,class,originalityand full of pizzazz.
I rarely get so excited and awed by watching a couture show. This was absolutely breath-taking!! It's all about the silhouette. Even the risque pieces first bowed to line and beauty, and so it did not detract, but added. This is a visionary designer who is aware of all the principles of dramatic visual art. Bravo!!

I like the mixture very much: classic faces, quite late-80s with the hats, but with the clothes - or better pieces - it becomes a fine, elegant concept; it is extravagant, but that is what the name Schiaparelli is.
I loved this show.... the dimly lit runway, the music, the ambiance, and the clothes were magnificent. Amazing!
I cant believe no one has mentioned the symbolic and powerful opening the show wwith a dress highlighting a woman reproductive system and the the open breast dresses which are so wearable and sexy without being gratuitous and ending with blood red..serious artistic protest of the RvW decision./.brilliant, feminine and YES FU Supreme Court!! IMHO thats all

in a time where full nudity is considered "fashion".... and female glamour isnt given a second thought ... this stunning collection once again shows the amazing artistry of Schiaperelli ....with flashbacks to 80 s timeless looks and the future forward thinking of this unstoppable fashion house ....exellent work ...Haute Couture at its best .
I think this collection is referencing Daniel first collections at Sciaparelli with the bird, the colors, the flowers, the silhouettes. we can see that elements of surrealism switched from human body parts to nature: leafs, birds, flowers... the 20's fringe made of beads is new for him but still playing on the same idea of accessories becoming the garment. Some of Elsa codes are there: the cut, the locks, the meter... the heart lock is new and exciting. the shoes are less "crazy" and it's never been this much emphisis on corset, feathers and fringe but it's trendy. the whole collection reminds of many 2000's avant-garde designs with the exposed breasts, the flowers, the siloouettes, the draping of the fabric...

Very glamorous in a vintage/retro sort of way. Restrained yet creative, easy yet detailed, timeless yet contemporary. Really difficult to pull off successfully. The age of elegance and glamour returns and is on full display on that runway.

Well that’s because YSL back in the day was inspired by Schiaparelli so…
Left me breathless!!!...the designs, the music, the beauty, the grace, the venue, the colours...

It’s crazy how music can change your perception of something…on the Schiaparelli channel the music creates this indescribable ambience that I will try to describe…sort of this magical early 60s journey to the far-east…the models like passengers disembarking onto this exotic land, dressed in nostalgic styles that are still ahead of the era the music is from…but juxtaposed with an element of fantasy that transports the viewer to somewhere else. I don’t get that with this music.
"High Fashion" is back thanks to Daniel Roseberry...didn't think I'd see a traditional Haute Couture collection again after what we endured over the past 3 years. Covid changed the fashion marketplace and brands are now obliged to adapt their merchandise to a new clientele's demands. The New Normal is all about Sustainability, embracing the Circular Fashion Economy and Responsible Production/Consumption. How will Haute Couture fit into this industry quantum shift?
Modern Haute Couture is made on such a small scale, that its impact is extremely insignificant compared to most of the industry.

What a gorgeous show. I love the variety of silhouettes, colours, textures and fabrics. Sumptuous and quirky not repeatative like other shows.

Best HC designer Daniel Roseberry! Keeping the Schiaparelli ghost alive with originality of vision. Beautiful pace, lighting and photography enhancing this collection. Models understand the spirit perfectly. The blue velvet dress with one breast rosette was divine.

LOVED the Show! The garments were so amazing! And the way he chose to show them. PERFECTION!!!! I’m glad that Daniel did several things that I think will resonate on the future runways…the slow sexy walk of the 80’s. So glamorous! Plus, it shows off the clothes so much better. So tired of the fast walk angry walk. Also, Daniel choose to use some of the supermodels. YEA!!!!!!

These are some stunning mistresses of the night looks so mysterious but yet elegant and beautiful
It looked like an Yves Saint Laurent show: the satin bows on the back of the dress, the velvet adorned with fabric flowers, the puffy short skirt, the hats with the straight brim, the gigantic earrings. Most of the white models unsuitable for the show, the couldn't walk straight although the shoes were reasonably high, the black girls majestic.
Love seeing these top notch models with such a devil may care swagger!

Everyone is so delighted by this show but did someone even noticed under what conditions those models was working? Most of them have almost stumbled on this unstable stage. Seriously is this too difficult to this fashion house to provide safe and stable stage for all models to feel comfortable while working? Nice comments all about how fabulous, finally real haute couture, art and so on. But where are ones about providing models better conditions because they can break their legs and believe me this is NOT necessary in any show to have stage like pillow, seriously. It doesn't cause this show to be better anyhow by that
I noticed but at least they wore sensible heels and not crazy stilettos unsafe on any surface
