Comments in no particular order:
1. I need one.
2. My rock-loving inner child is thrilled by the creasing hack.
3. Tornado continues to be awesome; that is a choice intro they created for you.
4. I like your dumb joke title 😂
5. That lip color really suits you!
Thank you to all of those! I may have stolen this amethyst from Tornado’s rock collection (with their permission)…
I love how this also acts almost like a Sideless Surcoat with the way the sides curve!!
That is absolutely wonderful. Precise and yet flowing at the same time. Thanks for sharing.
Love the apron and all the atmospheric sounds during the reveal. They really added to the story.
Thank you! I love that people are noticing the things I’m doing to level up!
Agreed, I love watching the process of it being made but I also love to see it in action being worn, i also loved the music.
Great smocking job. I used to really like smocking, i don't know why i stopped. Maybe now that i don't need to wear corporate clothing i can make myself some nice looking comfy clothing.
This could easily be modified into a sundress pattern.
Oh Huzzah! I was just looking at a bunch of photos of this type of apron and thinking of doing one! Very excited when I saw this video pop up!
It reminds me of the sideless surcoat silhouette. I wonder if this item influenced that fashion? Interesting stuff, thank you for sharing! 😊
The other way around, I should think; this apron doesn’t show up until after the surcoat is a firmly established fashion.
I will be watching this multiple times while I make one of these for my SCA kit. Wonderful video! Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Love the apron and is that a wax tablet I see? Gorgeous!
It is! From Lucas, at Scribal Workshop.
My LARP kit neeeds this. I had no idea this existed. Thank you so much!
I love this so much…the apron is gorgeous and I love your music choices as well
Thank you!
Beautiful! You are so patient and talented. You are admired.
I'm glad to see another excellent video; with antics in the prelude 😀 and great content & production quality!
Drinking reconstituted coconut water for hydration
Thank you! It’s been fun learning to up the production side
I am glad its been fun!
I am always impressed by creators who have the patience and dedication for it!😀
Looks amazing! I really want to try smocking some day soon.
(I've been drinking rehydration solutions from the pharmacy after a sunstroke... But getting better already.)
The apron turned out lovely! And I love that reveal!!
Thank you! I’m quite proud of it
This looks like a lovely garment, but I don't see how much protection it would give to a working midwife. Splat!
I feel like things maybe don’t splash… up? As much? I’m not conversant in medieval midwifery though.
This is so cute! I'm definitely thinking up a sundress version for myself now!
I have one of these, it's literally the most complemented piece of garb I own.
They’re so pretty!
Love it! You've convinced me, I need a new apron!
This is just stunning. Ive always loved smocking and know i want to find a project with a good excuse to use smocking in it. Also, this reminds me that I should probably modify the apron i made a few years ago because its a bit hard to get over my head with headphones on and i rarely do anything in the kitchen without my headphones.
Thank you! I am in favor of anything that makes it easier to use your tools.
Nice \(^-^)/ (tossing virtual confetti your way) Thank you for sharing.
This is a lovely project, once again! Something I have to say I really appreciate with your videos is the gorgeous music choices! A little biased when you play Swedish folk music, but still🙌🏼
More specific malvas polska!
It’s one of my favorites!
3 candles at the end? In red wax? That was a fortune.
Nice work. 😊
We live luxuriously around here
The smocking is so lovely!
I love this apron but I can see that it will catch on absolutely everything. I will probably make a modified version. Not historical but historically inspired.
I guess we’ll see.
This is so fantastic!
Also the cup you are drinking water out of during the reveal, where did you get it?
Thanks! It’s from Feed the Ravens, and Lobster Rose Pottery has similar ones as well.
Love it!! Looks great!
Thanks! I’m quite happy with it
This is lovely! I’d definitely like to make one! Thank you for sharing this with us and inspiring me! ❤
Absolutely amazing work. I recently began Tablet Weaving and came across a reference to a Midwives apron on Elewys of Finchingfelsd's site. I was a Midwife for 37 years. Now retired but I think I need to make this apron! Beautiful linen. Where did you source this. The weight is perfect.
Thank you! It’s Bleached IL019 from fabrics-store dot com

Looks great I just think it’s an awkward style if you have big boobs.
Edyth Miller from the Compleatly Dressed Anachronist made one that’s wider and it looks great on her, but I understand just not loving a style.
This! I was thinking about making an apron that wasn't just waist down, but this doesn't feel like it will be that much more protection for my "tracks of land" 😅
