Splendid work, as one can always expect from our beloved sword-wielding seamstress. I absolutely love that stencil trick! I'm in the brainstorming stages of creating a quasi-medieval plague nurse costume, and was wanting to put various common 15th-century English medicinal herbs along the hem of my apron and the edges of my veil, and poisonous herbs on my dress, but I can't embroider worth beans. I'll take a closer look at layered stenciling, it just may work a treat!
