Galloway is spectacular. wore it on Sunday and it kept getting better the longer I wore it, very different in the dry down. Lasted all day and night.
I keep trying to make my SMW decant work based on all the + reviews for it. It’s just not my bag I guess.
Its Galloway all the way with the respect for SMW.. It was my first purchase from PDM and it was love from first spray.. i tried SMW but it was not for me .. nice video BBB as always .. keep it up 👍
As someone with no prior history with either fragrance, I’ve recently sampled both from Nordstrom. While I liked the smell of SMW a little more than PDMG. Unfortunately like many Creed fragrances, I’ve sampled, SMW’s performance was awful. But the overwhelming check for Galloway was my wife liked the smell of SMW, she absolutely loved Galloway.

It's my only Creed & the only 1 i'll keep in my collection. That said, i'm waiting to try Royal Oud, sounds like another winner.... Creed aint the house they used to be anymore.
I have Royal Oud.. very unique but is almost wood and smoke. I paid $400 Australian dollars... Hineslty invest your money else where.

Creed Original Santal is pretty awesome as well; however, just like you, the only Creed I've pulled the trigger on is Silver Mountain Water.
SMW bears out aventus for me. I hear too many dudes who never got a single complement tell me what to wear. They always say SMW is worse than Aventus and ik off the bat they dont know what they are talking about.
Great showdown BBB!!!! I love both of these fragrances big time. I actually just wore SMW on Sunday, and the wifey thought we were going on a date, when I was just heading to Lowe's to pick up some stuff. Compliments came from the cashier at the return desk, and from the person she called up there as well, saying that they needed their man to get some of SMW. It still has the power to get women's attention anytime it needs to. When I wear Galloway, it seems to be more of a business type scent, and blend in the background for me, even though I don't intend it to be. If SMW would have been against maybe Pegasus or Sedley, then Parfum de Marley would have won, but in this showdown for me, Creed Silver Mountain Water takes it.

They are different. Both should be bought. Excellent fragrances.
For my 17th birthday I asked my parents for Silver Mountain Water, my third fragrance at the time. After that I bought many more myself, including a second bottle of SMW 2 years ago. I’m now turning 23, sold as many of my fragrances as I could & bought a 250ML flacon... I wear this year round nearly daily until I pick up my second bottle of Le Labo Gaiac 10 when it comes out in September and will only be wearing those 2 daily & Pure White Cologne for special occasions while I get rid of all my other scents. SMW, PWC, & G10 are truly something special & no other scents (including Aventus) gets me as many compliments... More importantly I personally love them.
He also has an amazing taste, I'm never disappointed. If he says this perfume is good I believe him
I agree! I love both scents, but SMW is the elite of the two. I find Galloway a more casual/sporty scent with the spice, while SMW is elegance in liquid form

18-49. I’m 18+49+5 and SMW turned my beard silver and I smell 18.
PDM is my favorite house but SMW is that 🔥 and by far the best Creed. IMO. SMW is almost my wife’s favorite summer scent on me too. Did I say 🔥🔥?
My favorite bottles , they are so good looking. Galloway is hard for me to wear , it smells like a CEO , boss man fragrance. You spray that , and you own the whole town. On the other hand Silver mountain Water is so fresh and refreshing, it will instantly boost your attractiveness by a good 30% if you wear it

When comparing Houses, I'm a PDM fan over Creed. Having said that, I prefer Silver Mountain Water over Galloway.

Was rocking SMW yesterday. Amazing fragrance imo. Not powerful in the projection department, but I get up to 8-10 hour longevity on my skin.

Mefisto from the Casamorati line by Xerjoff, over either of these two, particularly over the Creed, given how similar they are. Creed can't match Xerjoff for quality, as much as I love them both.

It seems silly to compare fragrances that are nothing alike- not in their scent profile nor their intended wear. The only similarity between these two are the white bottle and silver cap, so I'll assume it was for clicks on the thumbnail.

Carlisle is not fresh at all its definitely a fall and winter scent all, the notes on fragrantica are wrong you have to go to the actual manufacturer website for the actual notes. But the others I agree.

PDM Sedley Vs Creed Aventus Cologne
As always like the video, but I'm not a fan of both. I only know SMW in the current formulation and I think it is a really "flat" fragrance. Nothing special in comparison to some other niche freshies you have out there like for example amouroud wet stone. It's not bad, but not worth the price, especially not the US creed prices. here in Belgium it is kind of okay, but still. I also don't get Galloway. Chris from Fragmental described this fragrance very accurately: like you are in a copy room where the copier is printing. Freshly copied paper with pepper (to my nose). The citrus is almost gone immediately. But seriously: who wants to smell like copied paper? I have a feeling PDM is surfing on the success of other fragrances here. Galloway is so dry to my nose and not fresh at all. It was the most disappointing fragrance I ever smelled to be actually, I almost thought I had another fragrance in my sample.

My top 3 from Creed are Royal Oud, Viking and Original Vetiver, but only have vintage batches. Because of what Creed did to their customers with recent batches, I will never spend money with them. Thieves!
