I realy like parfumes de marly Their negative point is that most of their products are winter suitable .. except gallaway and to some extent pegasus only in my openiin.

Some examples: Layton- boss bottled intense Herod- pure havane Percival- platinum egoist Sedley- any blue ambroxin fragrance Percival- reflection man- le male Godolphin- Tuscan leather Akaster- noir de noir Oajan and habdan- many gourmand fragrances that centre around cinnamon Akaster- rose oud fragrance that has been done many times before. Bares similarity to noir de noir I can probably keep going. Like I said it's a fair criticism that the brand isn't a unique innovative driver of the niche market but I don't think that it's trying to be nor is it loved because of that. They make high quality performing fragrances that are presented beautifully and are very wearable yet still somewhat deep and interesting
Last week I pitted Lalique White against Galloway. Lalique is a bit more spicy in the beginning and Galloway is more floral. But oddly enough, Galloway changed gears after a couple hours and took on a more spicy aroma, and it lasted longer; in fact, the next morning after a night’s rest, the Galloway was clearly detectable while the Lalique was entirely gone. So glad I have both though.
Very nice sleek review with a dash of humour, Ash. Galloway getting the love it deserves 😀. Agree on LW comparison. I have both. LW is less metallic, less iris, a bit more sour due to tamarind and certainly with less performance. Yes, collection video is coming!!!

Yes you're absolutely right.. I once tried lalique white and smelled it very close and my first thought was omg it's too strong.. Maybe i need to revisit this one and smell it from far away
Smells great. Parfums De Marly has done it again. I have all their fragrances just about and was lacking Galloway and KUHUYAN. Just got Galloway today.

Kuhuyan is an awesome fragrance that is beast mode and gets very little chat about it, but I am very well pleased with all of Parfums DeMarly' fragrances. Haltane is beast mode as well.

I had a sample for a long time that I only sprayed on paper and I disliked it very much. Recently I tested it in a wear and it was a loooot better. Still no love though. I'd prefer Sedley or Greenly from this house for warmer days.
I totally agree and I have both of them. Elysium Parfum Cologne is more complex but its opening has something in common to Galloway. Two great fragrances for me.
I find the only similarity between Lalique White and PDM Galloway is the bottle. 2 Rather Different scents. Galloway is on the sweeter side like a much milder JPG ultra Male and has none of the White pepper and zesty "Freshness" of Lalique White...which is it's signature attraction.

Yes, it's dependent on how much the enjoy "exclusivity" and whether you have the money to throw around I guess. Some people "upgrade" to Galloway due to the improved performance but I'll never crap on Lalique White. In terms of quality vs price it's hard to argue against the Lalique.
The bottle is SM Water-like. So cool! But yeah, it's niche Lalique White. Hard to hate, but I don't love it either. I do pretty much agree with all your points too, yeah. Keep up the great work, brother! Lovely stuff! =] #CloneHouse :P

A really difficult fragrance to find and one of my personal favourite creeds, available only in Harrods...love that juice. So what's your take on Royal Mayfair? another favourite of mine, sorry I'm not an Aventus boy I personally find it tiresome and irrelevant when compared to the two mentioned above. Anyway, well done you for owning Millesime 1849...impressive.

She's a good cat that doesn't really ever climb on shelves or anything. She also prefers to stay upstairs so she's never really down here where all the frags are.

@@abbasalzankaloni4722 Percival and Sedley too are suitable for spring and summer so are Layton and Kalan if used lightly in my opinion.

I love this fragrance. It's a bit on their lighter side, but the scent is very safe and smooth and a compliment magnet!

I totally agree and I have both of them. Elysium Parfum Cologne is more complex but its opening has something in common to Galloway. Two great fragrances for me.
