I'm actually wearing Percival today, but I have Galloway as well! As far as summer scents go, Galloway is a beast! I don't think I've ever gotten under 10 hours wearing this, and I can't really say that about too many other summer freshies I've had! Great review Chris! I'm glad someone out there is finally showing this stuff some love!

Just blind bought it. Amazing. I kinda get a little Percival vibes with it. Honestly, I’d reach for Galloway before Percival when picking a scent to wear. Great comparison to the copy paper. I’d agree with that, & I couldn’t put a description to it, until I heard that.
A great scent. Probably the most wearable one by them (Layton Exclusif is great too). Some people mention this in the same breath as Lalique White but they aren't really alike. I could never mistake one for the other. Side by side there is no competition whatsoever, Galloway is a go back and sniff time and time again scent when wearing a sample, it has that "thing" about it.
So often it seems people look to say something smells like something else and the momentum around that being accepted grows as the word spreads. In no time at all people come to believe two scents are interchangeable by reputation, but in this case the comparison isn't really deserved.
Oh, this is also a scent to not overspray, doing so just ruins it. Two or three tops or the effect is lost and it becomes something it was probably not intended to be.

@@FRAGMENTAL Not a problem. I think the point is that if someone can't justify the price of Galloway, don't bother defaulting to Lalique White. They'd be better off just looking for a different fragrance. I'd be surprised if you disagreed if you tried LW.
I cannot tell if it smells good or not.
First time I tried, it was very fresh and smelled like citrus/orange slightly sweet, very unique.
Second time, it was too musky and too sweet, gave me a headache.
The next december, ill buy my first niche fragrances: Creed GIT and PDM Galloway.

@@huzidamasta my friend Im agree with you. Galloway and GIT are very similar, must be mix of iris with Pepper in Galloway, this could be the reason. Anyway, Galloway is more modern with a beast Performance. Its one of the favorite of my wife (i have 27 fragrance and she loves the scents superb masculine and modern 🙊).

I can't make my choice :) Between Galloway - Sedley - Percival - Layton.
Galloway is a more modern take on Creed GIT, love this scent so much.
The opening reminds me so much of Green Irish Tweed, my favorite fragrance of all time. The dry downs are different though which I appreciate. The base of GIIT is a lovely melange of floral and sandalwood while the base of Galloway has a robust earthiness. I own both and they are my favorite warm weather fragrances.

THAT's what that smell was!! I always thought that Galloway reminded me of burning, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what... It must've been printer toner or perhaps cedarwood after it's been freshly sawed. Either way, it's the only PdM that I can't stand! lol Unbearably heady on my skin. Appreciate the review though Chris.

Ive been wearing this frag for a year and never noticed this smells like warm paper out of the printer! That person needs to work as a tester for a perfumer!

I find that it smell like creeds green irish tweed just returned it for sedley the mint its not a bad scent you have to be in the mood to wear galloway,long lasting as well.
I happen to believe that Lalique White is the better version of the two. If the price was higher im sure that people would have a different opinion about it. Both excellent.

Galloway’s an interesting one. To me it seems suited for a masculine, sophisticated, 35+ guy. It’s not really my thing, but I can appreciate it on another person.

Please do. You will not be dissapointed. Its a very sexual and mysterious scent that from my experience has garnered so many high level compliments. Not like oh you smell good. More like damn you smell so good what are you wearing. By men and especially women. Give it a try please. Its the perfect date / night out fragrance. Right up there with LNDL. But its more seductive.

Can I ask I really hate iris above any another note stopped me getting prada l'homme range.and dont get time to go out and try.as tied to work or family on days off, so My testers are you guys on youtube. And so far cant complain got 11 great designer aftershaves will carry on till next year then switch up to a nice niche after shaves at moment getting 2 designer or 3 a moth started in march should have 30 or more by end of year but what I avoid like the plague is anything with iris in it. A guy at work once wore davidoff the game and I sufferered all day long asked what it was and then looked up on fragrantica and iris main note UGHHH

Really not a fan of anything PDM so far. They're more designer driven, but charge niche prices. Lower price points may justify a purchase, but not at GBP100+.
Worth every penny you get so much quality and juice for that price. For example Carlisle 125ml is almost underpriced thats how good it is imo.

Great videos but with niche houses I find a lot of your content redundant to myself as unless you're a real frag head and well off the majority of these aren't affordable. Is the main aim of the channel to focus on niche fragrances?
No not at all. Look through my videos and you'll find a mix of niche, designer and clones.

While I believe that this is most likely a genuine #1 selection for you, because of the latest release from PdM flooding the TH-cam Reviewer scene, it makes viewers question validity...
Is this your real #1? Are you doing this to try to get PdM’s attention? Have they already sent you the new one, you just haven’t got it yet so this is your way of advertising for them til it arrives? Is this your way of asking for a free bottle(s) from them?
I mean all these questions not to be directed solely at you, but rather to show what goes through the head of (some) people that view you and other channels.
Because of so many freebies floating around and so many sugarcoated reviews, it takes away the automatic 100% trust in authenticity, even on videos that don’t feature freebies.
Again, just putting out there what sponsorships and freebies are doing to the community and how it can affect content creators and viewers that may just be caught in the middle
I sampled it, I liked it, I bought it and will be wearing it more than anything else this Summer. I understand your questions but if you're sceptical about peoples opinions and what might motivate those opinions then you'll never believe or trust anyone and there's little point in hearing those opinions. This is my real #1.

I have to be honest here. For some reason trusted reviewers are praising this fragrance. Yes it smells like printer paper then smells horrible. It is boring one dimensional and kind of disgusting.
Galloway is rather boring with its smell like old aunt with a charme of a machine shop afterwards.
Galloway smells like fresh xerox copies of paper from a copy machine...
And now you admit that your favorite scent smells like paper. Really glad I don’t live in the UK with you people. Very strange!
So your favorite scent is not impressive and has no impact. Gotcha
