What is the widest wood bowl (O.D.) that can be engraved with the Talon 4 jaw rotary chuck on the Thunder Bolt with the Z Table dropped as far as it will go? I want to engrave the circumference on bowls I’ve made on my wood lathe between 6” and 8” wide on the outside dimension.

That collet lock is brilliant!
Was fun coming up with it, but the jaw lock is another awesome feature to prevent the jaws from just falling out.

That would be no problem at all. You can do roughly 8-9 in diameter with it in the bolt
