    Is it safe on your chainsaw bar with all the bouncing?

    • @acreageliving
      @acreageliving  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No bouncing, but it’s clamped by the bar very good. Would have no issues. I haven’t

    What size hitch coupler are you running on the cart?
    Definitely not 1-7/8".

      2”, I make all my 1 7/8 trailers 2”! makes moving them around with the atv or whatever way easier! Not always switching balls!

    Do you have spare saw with you, handy if you have a pinched saw, or saw problems?

    • @acreageliving
      @acreageliving  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i agree would be handy, i am literally 5 minutes from my house though so I dont see myself bringing two saws. If my trip was much longer, forsure!

    Connect another trailer to make a B train for efficiency.

    Zoom out more when filming. With these high definition cameras it's way to jerky and blurry and movement on amplified.

    Nice ya finally tried it out, we ended up getting one back in September we weren't sure out atvs would haul it loaded but it just feels like it's floating. We put pallet boards down over the trailer floor cause I think it woulda eventually dented in. But definitely the best trailer for the buck and will last us a really long time I think.

    Is that conifer wood ok to burn in your wood stove? Loved the video 👍🏼

    • @acreageliving
      @acreageliving  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      yes sir, going on 5 years in this stove and chimney pipe has always been clean. Get a bit of creosete on the cap but thats pretty normal for an conventional boiler. Up in the boreal forest i dont have much of an option. Never seen a piece of oak firewood in person in my life lol

      yes I sure did, I see the upped the price though since I bought mine! Still a pretty good deal compared to what most ATV tandem trailers go for. Hauled the firewood great.

    How miserable is it backing this trailer up? Any small trailer I've used on an atv just instantly jack knifes.

    • @acreageliving
      @acreageliving  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Being a tandem trailer it will back up way better. When it’s fully loaded you will have to be careful backing up depending on how heavy the tow vehicle is you’re using. As it’s way harder to push the trailer with a tow vehicle than pull. I absolutely love the trailer, very sturdy. You can easily hand bomb the trailer over when empty, I do that sometimes if I am in tight trees to get it lined up nicely to back in to my firewood. But this backs up way better than my single axle atv trailer. Backing up trailers with an atv definitely requires more finesse though I agree
