It doesn't say that a project must be of a certain size in order to be considered a project. And it doesn't make any assertions about the origins of the project, or who is qualified to commission a project.
While filling the form i remember you had mentioned in your video that it is not mandatory to have lead projects or be in a pm role, we might be part of the project team as well , which also counts
Yes, you might not be a PM on paper but as long as you have led the roles & responsibilities of a PM, that's fine. A lot of time, project support offices, associate PMs or Design Engineers do lead sub-scopes of a project independently.

I am a PMP Certified project manager, and I have both led and directed projects in my career as well as I have requisite or relevant verifiable experience as a project leader or in charge. As far as interviews and job applications are concerned I have faced and seen a lot of nepotism, undue favoritism and unfair employment practices where worthy candidates do not get even absorbed in the company despite there being enough PMP opportunities. I see that it's just not the two factors that matter most nowadays, but if there are good political and employment connections high up in the employer companies like if someone knows anyone very close in the company like a relative or so, he or she can easily get the job. It is definitely something on the lines of nepotism that nobody talks about, but yes, it exists, and we as responsible citizens can not do anything about it. I am still, in fact, searching for a job, BTW. Out of hopes, I have stopped searching now, and my certification, although very much active and relevant, I do not know how to handle the situation that I have been facing.
Hi. I am sorry to hear about your situation. However, I have not felt it that way in the industries I have worked. Probably you need to lookout for a different genre of company or plan switching industries.

There's a huge amount of nepotism in project management roles now. Usually project manager directors only hire their friends.
