because of that history, the Romanian anthem states :
"Priests, lead with your crucifixes, for our army is Christian,
The motto is Liberty and its goal is holy,
Better to die in battle, in full glory,
Than to once again be slaves upon our ancient ground!"

The Romanian language is the greatest binder of the people. It remained Latin- based despite all the invasions throughout the centuries, which shows that the roots were very strong.

Not really, we had to re-latin'ise ourselves in the 18th and 19th century, using a bunch of france s vocabulary, if u read any romanian document before that, well, u ll see what i mean when i say it sounds like a discount russian with some bit of latin

Mircea the Elder's success against the Ottomans and many other things like the participation of the Getae in the Trojan War, their conquest of Scythia and Cimmeria, etc.

Congratulations, you watched a video describing now a highly questioned version of history...
    Just a minor example.
The name Vlach comes from germanic speaking people and just means something along the lines of unintelligible.
The ones who gave that exonym to them were most likely the Visigoths, therefore further proving a ethnic continuity in the region.
Contrary to what many history books want you to believe.
Many claim the Vlachs settled the area at the twilight of the first bulgarian empire.
The Vlachs being named by the Visigoths, would essentially push the date some 800 years in front!
Assuming a continuity (geneticaly proven), we're calling these lands home for at least the last 3000 years!

There are many misunderstandings in the presentation that Malvin looks at. For example, the ”Bulgarian Empire” did not controled the romanian territories. In the time of existing so called ”bulgarian empire”, in the geografichal area of today Romania, existed independent rulers, as Gelu, Glad, Menumorut and others who fight togheter against various migrating people as gepids, visighots, huns (not magyars 🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣)!!!
In fact, neither the Roman Empire did not succeded to rule propperly the dacians territories that had conquered. Probably because they was interested only to obtain resources as gold (look for roman gold mines at Roșia Montană) and slaves or probably because of the resitance of natives.
    Anyway, poor presentation...

There were other invaders as well but this video does not mention them like the Cumans , Pechenegs , Huns...I don't think this region had a period of 100 years of peace. It's funny if you ask most people living here they will say they are either roman or dacian or daco-roman.The truth is invaders did not come bearing flowers for the ladies and people are alot more mixed than they care to admit.Which is not a bad thing btw.Gens get stronger the more they are mixed with people that had less contact with one another. This is pobably the case for most of the Balkans.

(not in high percentage i know) , the next in line after them could be ...asians or chinese ! the truth is that Romania nowadays is a real FREE ESTATE for everyone !

That's the number of romanian festivities in the Romanian culture that have a proven connection to wolves!
How is it in Italian, Iberian or French culture?
None! Aside from the she wolf raising Romulus and Remus, the wolf has no cultural significance in ancient Rome!
War/fight is Luptă, warrior is Luptător in romanian. War is Belum in Latin, warrior is Bellator. Just one example.
An example of over emphasis on trying to find that one connection to Latin is the word for God.
In Romanian, the one Christian God is called 'Dumnezeu.
In Latin God is Deus, and lord is Dominus.
Now, every wannabe historian sees Dumnezeu and says it has to be Latin!
In fact it is as mutch GREEK! As it is Latin. In Romanian the two words describing Lord God, have fused to become Dumnezeu.
Lord - Domne ZEU - God I don't think there's anyone who could possibly not see that the Greek god father Zeus and the Romanian God, have the same root!
Not to mistake it with the Greek word for God - Theos.
But I and many others know that many people in Romania, and many more in countries such as Hungary and Italy, have no interest in ever challenging their stance.
With this groop of people, there comes another.
These are people like you and many others here in the comments, who think claiming to be something you're clearly and vizibile to all not, would somehow elevate your fragile EGO.
you say these so called 'Dacopaths' claim everything originating from Dacia, but as I see it, you claim something that's clearly not yours!
Let's not forget about the other neighboring powers in the region and what they had to say about it.
Romania being somehow a continuity of the romans was never taken seriously by any of the powers.
Neither the byzantine, nor the Russians or the HRE, who all claim to be the inheritors.
      What about the dacians.
Mihail Viteazul/Michael the Brave was called Dacus Malus by his enemies.
The Russians and the Austrians where in talks about creating a new Dacian kingdom in the 18th century.
... but sure... the others are crazy because your history teacher has used some Hungarian written book to show you that there were no Romanians north of the Danube until the second battle of Kosovo... (13th century)
      Sure...
