Nice video. I kind of wonder why they don’t offer a 110ac version. Obviously it would have to have ground fault protection, but I’d think you’d get a more powerful and higher quality motor, and most places you’d be able to dump would have 110, or use a generator.

I actually use a maceration pump myself ( its an off brand ) I run it through a 1 in line and honestly have not had problems with it. Good video.

Flojet does have fuse issues and I hear bad customer service and they are way more expensive

We're living in the 5tth wheel...
    I keep having 2 issues:
    1. the black water is too thick like oatmeal consistency - tried Unique and Happy Camper. Happy Camper is better at keeping the smell down. Both are not breaking down the black water.. I drain about every 3 weeks into a 300 gallon holding tank under the rig.
    2. the off brand macerators stop pumping due to the thick black water... using a 3/4" hose. would the FLO-JET be better? It looks like it's the same design and only pumps 12 GPM too like the off brands
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

Not sure. I did find the flo jet performed better with the 3/4 hose. It would overheat with a 1/2 inch hose. We have been happy with the Unique Tank treatment. Since we started using that it’s run much better. And we try to throw away toilet paper instead of putting n the toilet unless it’s very soiled. This helps with the solids in the tank.

I’d say try using a lot of water when you flush?
