I hardly ever comment on stuff. But those big dog sand rail owners were top notch. Super humble, knowledgeable, and seemed super down to earth. Most people in any scene that have the baddest stuff are tough to be around. Those guys need to get on YT asap.
Yea those guys are cool as hell and trusting. Despite his reputation to handle powerful vehicles, just letting someone in a rail like that for a rip you don't know personally takes a lot of faith.

Seeing them race next to a Lamborghini next to a track hawk, while a helicopter is hovering (17:40) over them is a next level, absolutely love all the content!
I would think that helicopter is Sparks, he would be the only one to show up in a blackhawk at a dune event.

Many years ago, on my one trip to Glamis, I watched a Marine Corps Huey land near the ice cream truck that was driving through the camping area. A bunch of marines piled out of the chopper bought ice cream, loaded up, and flew away. @@gsp911

Cleet definitely has a competitive side but he doesn't seem to over do it.

As a lover of all things horsepower related, theres nothing quite like racing in the sand at Glamis. It's just a race car paradise out there. I have my drag cars for the local strip, but it's way funner racing 6 wide up Oldsmobile hill

The sandrail wheelies are cool! Put a skid plate on the back and you wont be dragging your harmonic balancer through the sand, tearing up the belt. Then you could add rudders hooked up to the steering...

My family has been building custom VW bug bodied sand rail cars for years and they figured out that a square hole cut in the floorboards with a plexiglass panel over it makes doing wheelies much more fun! They also had independent breaking for each rear tire so they could control it that much more while in the air!

Helping out if they can. And showing others a good time. Like the sand car guys. Those dudes were awesome. This is the reason I like cars and the community. It’s sad that some ruin it.

That particular car is around the ballpark of a half a million I believe. There is a few other heavy hitters out in glamis with multiple cars as well. 1badtoyfactory just built a new car that’s sequential but also can turn into a paddle shifter car. The entire transmission housing is made of billet. I talked to the guy at the sand sport show who did all the machine work for it. Told me the car cost roughly $750,000.
